I'm happy to say that I always keep having a great experience at this Holiday Inn Suites Express…read more Staff are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. They always greet you when you walk by the lobby. The rooms are always clean and tidy. The beds are so comfortable and the pillows are always so fluffy. We love sleeping on the comfy pillows and beds, we always wake up feeling so refreshed. The breakfast buffet is hot and delicious with a large verity of delicious dishes to choose from. The gym has all the exercise equipment you need for a good workout! I love using their elliptical machine or the bicycle. They have wipes to wipe down the machines and they also have hand towels to wipe your sweat off. They have complimentary water bottles! I really appreciate their hospitality! The pool is beautiful and clean. I like going in the pool during the summer. It's really nice and relaxing. Also the hotel is located inside a shopping plaza. There's several restaurants and shops you can walk to, it's super convenient and very nice.

Possibly the worst hotel customer service experience in... ever. I've been traveling…read moreinternationally since 1986. Yes, I'm old. Yes, I have a lot to base my review on. The hotel is in a decent location with several restaurants in walking distance. However, the front desk personnel can ruin the whole trip. These folks can't execute on the SIMPLEST things. I've stayed here about 5 times for work, and each time it's been a crap-shoot on whether I've actually been booked in a room with a microwave and fridge, as requested in my reservation. Not this time. No fridge, no microwave and no real coffee maker in the room, either. There is a one-cup contraption with coffee in a pouch. I have gone to the lengths of bringing my own coffee, filters and cream. As well as my own breakfast foods. But alas, I will make do with the fridge they brought into the room, but for some reason they can't seem to bring me a microwave as well. Nor an actual coffee maker. Amazing that in the 21st century it's so difficult to get actual customer service. I'd probably recommend you stay anywhere else, but here.

we were very very very pleased with our visit!…read more The hotel was SPOTLESS and modern, very nice design. The rooms were nice, well designed space, the best features: Microwave, refrigerator, and the soap and conditioner pumps in the shower(so you don't have to ask for five bottles every time you shower), lastly, the availability of baby cribs. The BEST service and what really made this Hotel stay the best was the breakfast. The availability of American foods like, French toast, pancakes, waffles, cereals, pastries, breads, etc was nice but having the Mexican breakfast buffet as well was amazing, chilaquiles, menudo, beans, eggs, etc. this was by far the best breakfast we've had at a hotel. The other half of the star, was the staff, constantly cleaning and taking away dirty plates. My family enjoyed the pool, but noticed there was other services also available, like a gym, laundry room, print center, They also have a 24/7 little store with snacks for purchase. The reception desk was also helpful. (This is where you get your towels for the pool). Next, the location of this hotel, was perfect. It's in a very nice Plaza, with high end restaurants and shops, and for some last night snacks (a 7/11 store). There is parking right in front of the hotel or underground. Lastly, to my embarrassment, about 30 mins after checking out, I realized I had forgotten an item in the room, I called the hotel to explain, and by the time I returned to the hotel, they had nicely packaged up the item and it was waiting for me at the front desk. The staff, the amenities, the food, and the rooms, were perfect. If all hotels are alike Fairfield Mexicali, Marriott has gained a loyal customer.

The Best Western in Brawley used to be my go-to but I may be driving a little further out to stay…read moresomewhere nicer next time. Now check in was great. It was easy and the girl at the check in desk was great. Breakfast and the staff member who worked there were also great. And I will say the room was clean so cleaning crew was doing a good job because the issue was more maintenance than anything. The issue was that the room was so old and outdated and the non bed furniture in the room was pretty gross which is why the low score. As I said, all customer service was nice, the only exception was when we asked for 3 extra pillows but were told no, we had enough and only given 1. That did irritate me but I brushed it off (this was a few hours after check In, after we got back to our room after a funeral). We got the suite which is not in the hotel and is actually in a building near the hotel. It is a spacious room but it is sooo worn out. Pillars were rotting and peeling, the rug was dirty and the couch and chair with an ottoman were so disgusting, I was genuinely grossed out and didn't touch them. Additionally, the toilet had a hard time flushing and after leaving some water running in the sink while brushing my teeth, it clogged up a little. Overall, I will not stay here again.

Absolutely not worth the price; comparably-disappointing hotels are less than half the price. Not recommended. Don't fall for the "free breakfast".

Cambria hotel only been open for 4 months…read more Upon arrival, I see a lot of construction going on around the hotel. You can see from the distance that it's fairly brand new. Check in was easy. The security deposit is only $100 per stay. I booked this hotel stay via booking.com. I booked the two queens kitchenette room. Once I got my room key, I went to my room and it wasn't a kitchenette. False picture advertisement on booking.com of the kitchenette room. I went downstairs to let them know and they moved me to the kitchenette room. Which was awesome. They were swift to take care of my needs and reported to booking.com of the false picture of the room. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and everything was new! From the flooring to the ceiling, comfortable beds, great staff, everything was squeaky clean. The hotel helpers were so helpful and exceeded our expectations. Kitchenette had almost everything you need for cooking. They don't have microwaves in the kitchenette rooms, only in the standard rooms. The fridge works really well. They have a bar and grill on the premises, patio outside, plenty of parking, indoor pool and gym! I will definitely stay here again on my trip out to El Centro.

False Advertising. Terrible Management. Zero Accountability…read more We stayed at Cambria Hotel El Centro-Imperial from July 10-13, 2026 with more than 10 Little League families. It was, without question, one of the most frustrating hotel experiences we've had. We reserved a "Suite, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen (Studio)" through Expedia before another family on our team. They booked the exact same room description through Expedia after we did and were assigned Room 201 a spacious "Suite, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen (Studio)". Yet we were given Room 220--a standard-sized room with only a kitchenette. No one at check-in mentioned we were being placed in a different room than the one we reserved. The next day my friend stopped by our room and was shocked at the size difference. She said, "I thought we booked the same room. Come look at ours." And that's when we realized we had not received what we paid for. I requested to speak with someone in management and got the unfortunate experience of speaking with Sales Assistant Clarissa instead. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue, she ended the conversation by telling me to "have the day you deserve." I then requested to speak with the General Manager Todd who was no better. He insisted that "suite," "studio," and "kitchenette" all mean the same thing, while also admitting he charges more for the Suite, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen (Studio) "because he can." If they're all the same, why would the hotel charge different prices? When Clarissa claimed the hotel doesn't even have suites, I showed Todd a video of one inside his own hotel. He admitted he has been trying to get third-party booking sites to change the room descriptions because they are misleading. The more he contradicted himself, the more visibly nervous he became and he began sweating profusely. When I asked why the descriptions needed to be changed if they all meant the same thing, he then said he wasn't going to argue semantics. The primary issue was Todd's admission of being fully aware of the discrepancy yet refusing to make it right and still continuing to book rooms with the same misleading description. And the problems didn't stop there: * Multiple families had leaking air conditioners. * The indoor pool area's A/C wasn't working. While the temp in Imperial ranged from 105-113 during our entire stay. * The hotel sold breakfast vouchers advertising an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, yet they were out of pancake mix for our entire three-day stay. After getting nowhere with management, I disputed the charges with my credit card company because I do not believe we received the accommodation that was advertised and reserved. Cambria didn't just lose one customer--they lost the trust of an entire Little League community. If you're considering staying here, screenshot your reservation, verify your room before unpacking, and don't assume the room you booked is the room you'll receive. Better yet, take your hard earned money elsewhere!
