As soon as we dropped our dogs off, I had a bad feeling and I called a friend. I told her, I felt uncomfortable and weary about leaving them there because when I dropped them off, I wasn't asked 1 question about either of my dogs. No tour of the facility, no warm welcome, nothing. I did however write everything down on their boarding sheet and was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. I then tried to offer the information because it was mind boggling that there was no communication. Throughout the duration of the vacation, we didn't receive any calls or updates. Upon picking them up, I was given back the left over food and medicine. The morning I dropped off the dogs, I measured out exactly how much food was needed. Patches normally eats 7-10 cups of food a day. That seems like a lot but for a 100lb Great Dane, this is normal. I left feeding instructions for I believe 5 cups of food a day, I debated on putting 5 or 7, and I can't quite remember which one. I took the liberty of cutting back her food intake while being boarded. When I picked her up, I received back almost ALL of her food. There was probably not even 1 gallon bag of food eaten. When I saw this I was astonished and said why does my dog have so much food left, and the answer was, well we don't typically feed them as much food since they are being boarded. Like what? So I entrust my dogs with you, leave instructions etc and then you just decide to do whatever you please? The lady could clearly see I was pissed tf off and she said well, I think your dog was sick for 2 days with diarrhea. Mind you, I never received any communication about her being sick or having diarrhea. Then the owner Misty called me as I walked in the door because the lady I picked the dogs up from knew I was clearly aggravated. She wanted to call and smooth things over. Her story of why my dog wasn't fed was all over the place. I'm throughly disturbed by this experience and I do not recommend them.

I had previously brought in her aging father to see Dr Rogers for a quality of life visit and was most pleased with his visit, however Bonita's visit was another story. He spent maybe 90 seconds in the room, was very cold and borderline rude, looked at her and found fleas on her back side and said well if you don't clear up this flea infestation, you will never clear up her hot spot. Then the vet tech came in gave her an antibiotic shot and a prescription for Apoquel (in the chemo therapy family of meds). They said "well, our doctor is at lunch so you'll have to sit and wait" I said that it was an emergency and asked what would happen if my dog just fell over and died while waiting on the doctor to finish his lunch. "Well I guess I can see what the other doctor is doing and maybe they can help you". When I arrived I was met with 2 arrogant receptionists talking on the phone. I politely waited for 10 minutes and then went up and told them my dog needed to be seen and that he wasn't breathing good. I signed everything I needed to sign just to be told to sit down and wait (I'm assuming on the very important doctor to finish their little lunch). I waited so long I eventually left to go to the Bowden animal hospital. He was given a steroid shot along with medication. As I was walking out CARROLL COUNTY ANIMAL HOSPITAL CALLS ME saying "where are you. We're ready to treat your dog now". That place shouldn't be labeled a "hospital" let alone a vet if they are willing to let your animal die in the waiting room just because they're incompetent and lazy! Take your animals to the Bowden animal hospital, price creek in Bremen or the other hospital in Carrollton! This place needs to be shut down and the people here need to lose any kind of certification or licenses they have!

I spent hundreds for them to just bs to get some money whole time they knew she was going to be fine and really just needed to sleep it off. If you have hundreds of dollars sitting around then yes go here. They tell you at the end so you have no choice but to pay it. If I would've known it was going to be that much I would've left, just gave my dog some water and called it a night. Seems like prices just keep going up. They are nice though and treated my dog nicely.

His groomer does a fantastic job with grooming him and SPOILS him rotten. My sweet baby gets anxious when going to get groomed and she recommended a medicine that helps to keep him calm where he can be groomed safely. Overall, I am pleased with the care that he has received since his first groom in June and we will continue to come and get groomed here.

He is a little stinky sometimes when we pick him up, so we know he plays hard! This gives us a break at night too, because he is all tuckered out that night and even sometimes the next morning! They are great there and so flexible. They have come to our rescue many times in being able to accomodate last minute reservations for boarding. So happy Rocky has so many friends there!
