The lobby of this hotel is renovated and you initially have a good impression when you enter. However, the rooms look like they're from the 1970s with disgustingly old furniture and a grandpa color palette. The walls were incredibly thin and my bathroom smelled like an everlasting fart. As soon as I turned the lights off to go to sleep, I noticed two things: the AC was not working and there was a perpetual dripping sound. I turned on the lights and saw a puddle near the bathroom door. There was a massive leak coming from the ceiling. I called the front desk, who actually knew about the leak prior to my arrival, and they told me that there's nothing to be done and that they could not move me. I lifted the ceiling tile and saw a cluster of electrical wires being submerged by water. There was also a massive growth of mildew spreading all over the interior of the ceiling. Not only was this a safety hazard, but it was also bad customer service. The front desk staff claimed the leak was caused by leaking pipes. Why are they allowing this room to be rented if they know there is a leak? Why don't they fix the broken pipes? They kept saying they couldn't move me because all the rooms were reserved and someone else would have to take my hazardous room. They begrudgingly moved me eventually, but the new room also had weak AC. Bad and rundown property. read more
