Very nice renovation has been completed. Remains a lovely historic building in Zelienople to grace the corner of our main streets.

Which is basically across the street I explained how I was here for a funeral and we had multiple pieces of family and friends converging to this hotel and I would appreciate it if they wouldn't bump anybody in the group, but I guess there were a couple people who got bumped to the other hotel because they didn't put up as much of a fuss as I did. However, they were compensated as my understanding. The elevator on the left as you're coming out of the lobby has had a strange array of smells over my stay here. One night it was the smell of skunk weed then a couple hours later it smelled nice and flowery. I will say that the air-conditioning/sump pump works very well so well that it took me a while to find the thermostat behind the television to turn it off so I could manage to thaw out. The hotel seems mostly and work in order. One thing you notice walk in the hallway is that every door to every room is white and the bottom 5 inches or so of the door are beat to hell. I don't know if that means that they use some cleaning equipment through the hallway that bumps up against the doors all the time I don't know. Showerhead works pretty good. It needs a good hard water cleaning, though they're hard water spots within the jets. Breakfast option was pretty sad and if I didn't have other people in the hotel, I was connecting with I would've eaten elsewhere.

The rooms also feature a small kitchenette with dishes, a freezer and dishwasher. The hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast, fitness room, daily newspapers and an indoor pool. We also loved seeing that you receive a free snack and drink when you check in on Yelp. We were especially impressed by the fresh berries and toppings for oatmeal in the morning. The room was in good condition and thoroughly cleaned. Overall, a positive experience.

While the exterior looks modern and welcoming, the interiors are... eeek. Hallway carpet looks worn, furnishings feel dated, lighting is harsh and yellow, and the wall A/C is loud. Outlets/USBs are scarce, the bathrooms show their age (tired grout/fixtures), and the overall vibe is musty and tired--not the clean, crisp feel you expect from Courtyard. Staff were pleasant and the location is convenient with easy parking, but that can't make up for rooms that no longer meet Marriott standards. At current rates, the value just isn't there until a top-to-bottom refresh happens. I'd happily return after a renovation; until then, I'll stay at the Marriott next door. It was updated a couple years ago.

I used the mobile check-in feature, so I never had the opportunity to interact with the hotel staff. The hotel's common areas were clean but felt somewhat dated and worn from frequent use. I would hope a remodel or refresh is planned soon. The room was spacious and clean. Although there seemed to be quite a few other guests, it was quiet, with walls thick enough to filter out noise from neighboring rooms. I only stayed for one night. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but I also had no complaints or concerns. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

The location is terrific about 1.4 miles from Dunkin Donuts, Sheetz and numerous shopping and walking areas. Not enough TV channels - most Comfort Inns have the Hallmark channel now. **No manager or anyone has gotten back to me regarding this 4/22/26…read moreCheck-in was smooth and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. However, my stay had a couple of frustrating issues. There was hair in the bathtub that clearly wasn't mine, which raised concerns about cleanliness. Another problem came the next morning after returning from a run, I found the shower water was completely cold. I reported it, and while maintenance did resolve it by resetting the hot water system, it took about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and had to take an extremely quick, cold shower to make it to the event I had booked the hotel for. Between the cleanliness issue and the inconvenience of the cold water, the experience fell short of expectations. Given these problems, I believe some form of reimbursement would be appropriate.
