The area of Heldenbergen is not very interesting and is a living town more than anything. The hotel has been in the same family for almost a century and remains family run. They have a dozen or more rooms and a restaurant. They also have a special function hall on the upper level. The room we had was quite spacious. It had a nice bed and pillows. The only drawback was it was next to the parking area. It had all the basics in a room and clean. The breakfast was ok and nothing special. It was not as elaborate as many family hotels we have stayed in. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food at the event was great and the choice plenty. I really enjoyed my dinner here and would recommend it for anyone wanting a nice special night out in the area. Price is ok however, we have stayed in many places which were less expensive than this one. All in all a lovely place to stay and eat. I would happily come here again.
