Hotel is is a little dated, however the rooms are a nice size. Especially, the double bedded rooms. However, sofa, & carpet could be upgraded and the drab beige walls. Maybe, just white walls. Idk ‍ Ohh, bathroom very tiny. Plus, sink & toilet backs up on upper floors, strange. Yuck! Staff is friendly, except (1) Spanish guy on Check-in day who saw me waiting, & ignored me. After, a long flight I just wanted to get to my room. Pros: Swimming Pool ‍ on 28th floor & Gym & Laundry room on 27th floor. Breakfast was cold. Plz fix this problem. Great location in Sherbrooke. Just down the street from the Ritz and Fine Art Museum (very nice and safe area). About 30 min walk to Saint Laurent/ Saint Denis. Valet service is great- pull up in front and they will take your car to the garage for the duration of your stay (with in and out as needed). Definitely recommend the valet as there's no easy parking around here. Comfy bed and general set up in the room. Plenty of space. Luggage racks for two. Great make up mirror in the room with excellent illumination and positioning, allowing for precise application. Towels are good quality and nicely sized. The hotel seems very popular with families so maybe note if you are looking for more of an adults only or romantic time. While this didn't bother us too much, we did hear children occasionally and on one occasion saw them running around a floor leaving their shoes and random items behind. Also, lots of children at the pool even in the evening. Only minor complaint is that there are only three main elevators which are also used by the staff so during peak times like around the checkout and check in times there can be a long wait for an elevator. Also our bathroom door had some difficulties closing and required some adjustments to work. Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon for 2 days before we moved on to Quebec City for the remainder of the trip. I would say this location was very nice to stay and was close enough to the Peel Station to make travelling to the big Montreal Tourist locations very quick and easy. The Hotel itself was very good, however it definitely needs some upgrades. We stayed in a King-Size Bedroom suite and felt pretty comfortable. However, I was disappointed that the Television only featured two channels to watch and nothing on demand, which is very behind in the times. I also wasn't a fan of the laundry room, which only accept coins. Really, in 2025, no cashless options? The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I stayed there during a visit to McGill University in early November of 2024. The front desk people were quite friendly, the room was nice, clean, and big enough for me, and the bed was quite good. It was quiet. I slept well during the two nights I stayed there. I had the buffet breakfast there---it was really good, with a lot of options. Great location. It is within walking distance of all the best shops, McGill, the McCord Museum and a half hour from the Latin quarter. Overall, the hotel was clean, safe and comfortable. We had two twin beds and a pull out couch in a separate area. The room had a mini refrigerator and little kitchenette area. We didn't try the bar or restaurant in the hotel, but I see other reviews are positive. Across the street is a cafe where we ate cheap croissants and coffees in the morning. The pool was nice and relaxing. They did not have towels at the pool so bring your own or bring up towels. There were always long lines at check in. Staff were polite but very busy. Le Cantlie Suites is a well located hotel with two restaurants, a gym and a rooftop pool (only summer). Our room was on the 20h floor and we enjoyed a lovely view on the Mount Royal. You can get to Vieux Montreal in about 15 minutes by foot. The next metro station is only a block away. Very spacious room for a fair price. The cleanliness was good, not exceptional. Overall the place has passed its best years and many things seem to have fallen out of their time. Nonetheless, the hotel is worth its price. read more

Pooh and I booked this hotel for our annual Valentines Day Montreal weekend. I have to say the room is marvellous!! The suite is huge. We have a kitchen and a balcony and the view is nice too. The bed is king size and very comfy. The sofa pulls out to a bed and we even have robes!! The water pressure is great too - I'm a stickler for low water pressure and I read it from one review on here but ours was great!! We feel pampered!! The executive suite is nice, spacious, not quite as clean, details left out such as carpet cleaning, which gives a " motel " feel... The space and view are ideal to the city at night. Booked a room for my solo birthday trip before things get too hectic back home and I forget about myself. I loved my experience here from the moment I checked in to the second I left. The grounds are beautiful and are a mix of elegant to clean modern feels. The water pressure was AMAZING !!!! I didnt even realize till the second day there was a terrace. While I did not get a chance at the pool, I did try out the food and the bar. The hotel staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptional!!!! The hotel itself is close to everything! It's blocks from mont Royal park, the museums and amidst amazing food (low or high priced). I was there four days, and spent one exploring Old Montreal and China town. I walked the whole day, but there are a lot of metro stations if you're tired. read more

I stayed here during the weekend in April and June. The Good: +The suites are clean and in a good area, close to nightlife. +The beds are very comfortable. +Price is right and Drew Carey agrees. If you performed a Kayak/expedia/orbitz/hotels dot com comparison search this hotel will show up with very good rates. +Kitchenettes are odd looking but having a fridge and microwave is convenient. +The pool on the top is nice (you insert a key and pull the left door forward) with a lot of lounge chairs to enjoy the weather. The Bad: -Not all suites (2 queen bed) are equal. Television units are different in rooms: some have flat screens and some have the outdated tvs. -The hotel still uses physical keys. This is odd since most hotels use card keys. -Parking is 24 CAN/night. If you want to save money, there is a public lot behind the Omni (close by) and cheaper (16). You don't have in/out privileges though. Parking tickets are 52 CAN, so be warned. -The gym is small and misclassified. I think of the luxury condos in Brooklyn that claim a "gym" as a star amenity luring buyers. The chest press machine pin was broken. The Ugly: --It took me a while to figure out how to open the door to the pool. Picture a monkey pulling a door for 10 minutes, while the people on the other side watching. Put up a sign, please. Other things to know: Guests are asked to sign a "no party" waiver and there are mandatory quiet hours after 10pm. There is a strict checkout policy at noon. You are close to the metro and just down the road from the mountain (which is a good landmark for when you get lost). The suite is quite spacious and the bed is the best I had in a long time. The room carpet needs a good clean. The shower has good heat and pressure. Front desk service can be hit or miss depending on who you speak to. Had some issues with the heating that maintenance men had to come and fix. The maid was friendly letting me help myself to what I needed from her cart. The breakfast is quite expensive. Booked a last minute trip to Montreal and was too lazy to do my own research. I chose this hotel because the pictures on Expedia looked nice, it was a bundled deal, and it was around the corner from the metro. I wouldn't stay in this hotel next time we are in Montreal, though. Severely overpriced and not a 4 star facility like advertised. Reasons: the room wasn't really clean. It looked clean but it was dusty and the drawers of the shelves we were going to put our clothes in were dirty, so we didn't. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent. The shower drain and sink drain were constantly clogged. The AC is broken. This wasn't an issue for us as we were staying in Montreal during 50 degree weather and slept with the window open but it would definitely be an issue in summer. I had the fan on the whole time and the room temperature set to 60 degrees but it was definitely not 60 degrees in our room. The beds are really really soft. We are used to sleeping on hard mattresses. We were fine but the quality of the mattresses could be better. I also didn't understand why the fitted sheet on the mattress didn't actually fit the mattress. The only upside to our room was the small kitchen, with an electric stove and a microwave--useful for making tea in the evening and reheating leftovers. We liked that it was separated from our room by doors. Staff was generally friendly except for the blonde middle-aged woman who checked us in on the evening of the first night (Oct 4). For a job in hospitality, she was pretty inhospitable. Probably didn't like Americans, and went out of her way to let us know as much. read more

After endlessly searching for a decent hotel for a last minute trip to Montreal we settled on Cantlie, mainly based on the deal they were running on Travel Zoo (3 nights for $280). The thing that made the search a nightmare was the sub-par reviews on this, and comparable, hotels. Well thank god for Yelp because I intend to author a comprehensive review... Location - On Sherbrooke, downtown, with what seemed like all the other hotels. Great because I would have been peeved if I shelled out $400 for the Sofitel, it's literally across the street. Cantlie is a few blocks down from the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, a short walk away from restaurants, shopping, etc. Room - Everything I want in a hotel room - spacious, super comfy bed, TV, closet space, bathroom - and a few extras too! (fridge, microwave, couch, desk). Everything is clean and spotless. The bathroom was small but uses space very effectively. The shower is pretty hardcore (water pressure and temperature, yikes) but I got used to it. Amazing view with our windows facing out from the back of the hotel. Parking - Private garage entrance in the rear alley. Easy in and out access. They bill your room the cost, roughly $18 (+tax) for 24 hours. Very cordial attendant! Internet - Wifi for around $5 (+tax) per day. The front desk provides an authorization code and the charge is billed to your room. I'm actually writing this review from it right now, fast speed! Lobby/Facilities - Clean, well kept, spacious. The three elevators are constantly in use and are a bit of clusterfuck sometimes because they only hold 4/5 people at a time. Decor is a little dated but I expected much worse. It appears that all efforts to modernize have been taken. Pool - Roof deck pool with an amazing view! Lounge chairs circle the pool for sun bathing if you don't want to swim. Fitness Room - One treadmill, two bikes, a few multi-purpose weight benches, and a stretching room. Fitness area also has a cold water filtration dispenser and a TV. It gets a little stuffy when you're working out but there is an AC going. Buffet Breakfast - Decent. Buffet standards: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereal, yogurt., fruit, bagels, toast. Way too pricey if you were paying but we had free meal vouchers for each morning of our stay. Service was spotty, seemed like the staff were running around with their heads cut off. Adequate. I think that's it. I would highly recommend this hotel and return any time! read more

In town for a couple nights with a friend, he had stayed here before and suggested it as a reasonably priced spot right in the heart of the downtown. Upon check in, it has a nice lobby and service was friendly. We were up on the 20th-ish floor so we had a nice view of our surroundings, which although they were mostly other tall buildings, it was still nice. My feelings on the room are a bit mixed, as it seemed like the place might in transition, and hopefully towards something nicer while still maintaining its current affordability. The leather furniture in our suite still had that new leather smell, and the table and chairs seemed new as well. However, the desk and no name TV were dated and of questionable quality and the beds, while soft and pretty comfy, seemed somewhat worn and a bit sunken in. Then of course there is the infamous kitchen-in-a-closet. Hidden behind innocuous looking, cheap, folding closet -type doors, there was a good sized kitchen. Again, the appliances were pretty dated, but it would have been quite useful if we had been staying for more than a couple nights. It may not be anything fancy and you won't impress anyone with it, but Cantlie Suites does the trick and at a great price. read more

Hotel Le Cantlie is exactly 4-stars! It is a four-star hotel with a three-star price. The suites were comfortable, and our room had a wonderful view of the street to the Sofitel across the street. While this building is older, the price that I got was so great (for 3 nights, I was paying around $90 w/o parking). The amiable and friendly staff, especially Sam who works in the evenings, and the valet drivers in their garage make this place great. The mezzanine level has a great sitting area where I could enjoy the views in the morning while mostly everyone was still asleep. The location also makes this place great as it is situated extremely close to the downtown locations, restaurants, stores, and if you want to walk Old Montreal. Rene Levesque is only 6-8 blocks away, walkable! When I plan to return to Montreal, Hotel Le Cantlie is definitely the spot. read more

Great value for a hotel in Montreal. Quiet. The king bed and sofa bed suite was nice - kitchenette is enclosed by a door, the beds are comfortable and city view. Restaurant in hotel is good enough for dinner or lunch if it is raining outside. Location near a mall which we use to access underground city which has 2 metro stations and 2 malls including the nearby mall. However, there are only 3 elevators but the wait time is not too long. There is a rooftop pool but the city view is not worth it. Our room had a better view. I was not able to find a 24/7 convenience store nearby. read more

Located almost next door to the Ritz Carlton, this hotel shares the same great neighbourhood, public transportation and proximity to McGill University as the pricier hotel. But, while I was there during the pandemic, the ability to have a fridge/microwave and a hotplate in addition to the coffee maker, made it possible for me to have my late night dinner saved for a breakfast before my online meeting. I just requested more coffee and it arrived within minutes (almost immediately) and a much larger hotel would not have been as responsive. I agree, the bed was divine, and it was quiet during the night making it possible to actually sleep well. I would come back!!! read more

An absolutely fantastic value, and overall a hotel I'd recommend regardless of what I paid. It's an older building, but it is kept up well and the staff provides a level of service that makes you feel like an appreciated guest. The rooms are clean and spacious, and though the air conditioning struggles to cool them off, it's better than no air conditioning at all. The bathrooms are on the small side, but nicely appointed and equipped with what is easily the most powerful shower heads conceived by humankind. It's as if God is screaming at you when you're in there. Location-wise, you have Downtown right there. You're a few blocks over from St-Catherine, a block from Peel Station, and a short walk to open green spaces. If (and when) I make it back to Montreal, the Cantlie will be in the conversation for where to stay. You won't find a better value. read more

My 87-year old mother had some bad luck on the way to Hotel Le Cantlie. First, she tripped getting out of her wheelchair in the jetway while departing Edmonton and ended up in the hospital. Second, her great-nephew died and she could not go to Montreal as planned. My mom's reservation was non-refundable, booked through Booking.com, The hotel would not consider giving my mom a full or partial refund, or a voucher for a future stay. Another hotel booked under the same conditions gave my mom a full refund. One other beef was that the non-refundable rate was exactly the same as a the fully-refundable rate - in other words, there was no saving. Cons: Valet parking was an issue that resulted in us getting two tickets because we had to park on the road until day 2. We were supposed to stay for 10 days and received mediocre service resulting us leaving 3 days earlier. Internet barely worked...frustrating when the front desk doesn't help you and you have to work! Spotty and honestly pretty bad..could get better if I just went to a Starbucks. Restaurant food was ok but definitely overpriced and inconsistent. One morning the kids were free and the next only one of them was?!? I would not stay here again based on these things. Pros: location is good, right down town with plenty to do within walking distance. Room was nice with comfortable beds and roomy. View was nice from 20th floor. This would have been the perfect hotel for me and my friend. It was right in the middle of downtown Montreal, within close proximity to all the shopping that St Catherine's West has to offer and within close walking distance to Old Montreal. I, however, was not a fan of the service we received. I was a guest in the hotel, and I found the front desk staff to be rude and condescending. I was made to wait when I had a query at the front desk so the front desk staff could finish their personal conversations. The hotel room where I was placed was also not as clean as I would have liked. I would also like to add that my friend who was also staying at the hotel at the same time received bite marks which she believed was from bed bugs. I was present when my friend tried to talk to the front desk staff, who was working at the front desk, to discuss her situation and personally observed the way the staff member was dismissive. She turned her back to my friend, did not want to make eye contact, and made clear that my friend was not worth listening to. This shows extremely bad service. Rather than being sympathetic to the guest who claimed she suffered from bed bug bites, the hotel was dismissive. In my opinion, this shows a lack of a regard for the health and well-being of the guest. I think this also highlighs how the hotel doesn't really care about the cleanliness of its facilities nor does it care about facilitating a good user experience for its guests. I wrote the hotel a letter to discuss my friend's allegation of bed bugs and also the poor customer service we received. In response, the hotel denied all wrong-doing. As a guest of the hotel, and as someone who witnessed the way the hotel's staff treated my friend, I would really encourage future guests to stay at a different hotel. I go to Montreal a lot - the OMNI next door has better service, and is in the same good location. read more

With my first trip to Montreal, I really liked the location of this hotel. It was close to interesting restaurants, retail shops, and local parks. I was there this past November 2016, a few days after Thanksgiving. This neighborhood was decked out in holiday lights and decorations which was beautiful. When I booked this room on line, the service company stated there is valet, but there is not currently. From previous reviews, it sounds like they once offered that service. What is weird, when I called their front desk the receptionist stated it's been banned per the local authorities. Which makes absolutely no sense. Earlier in the day I was literally several doors down at the Ritz Carlton enjoying high tea and they have gracious valet service. Awkward. Now parking for hotel guests in literally behind the this hotel. From the main street, make the first right Rue Peel and then turn right into the 1st dark alley drive way. A few yards down to the right will be the underground parking garage. On my visit, the parking attendant & receptionist were playing games. He kept the garage door down since it was cold, without telling anyone. And she kept insisting the garage door was up, because she could see cars going in and out on her closed TV circuit. Well, to my chargin. The door was down the whole time I was looking for an open one. Confusion in sued, which wasted more than half and hour driving around very dark alleys in a foreign country, which to me was no beuno. After deciding to just sit by their sign did the door open and could my car be parked. And I was livid!! Really people. Pissed off and quite tired, I was up at 5am that morning to drive from New Jersey to Montreal. All I wanted was to check into my room and relax. The metal key to my room was a bit off and had to be wiggled quite a bit before I could unlock the door. Good grieve Charlie Brown. When does it end!! My room was at the end of the hall, which was quiet for the most part until loud guests walked by. Too tired at this point, I unpacked and took a warm bath. Wanting to resolve this parking quandary, I called down to speak to a front desk supervisor. She apologized for the mix up. As I checked out the next morning, the $40 parking fee was waived with hotel manager apologizing once again for the parking issue. I was appreciative and learned a valuable lesson. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Cantlie Suites. After reading some of the negative reviews about the service level, I was a little concerned at first. However, right from arriving bright and early at the hotel at 8am until leaving the hotel 4 days after, I've received nothing but amazing service from the staff. Because we arrived before the early check-in time, the lady in the front desk helped us pre-check in and without us evening beginning to ask her where to go, she pulled out a map to show us exactly where the hot spots are. One of the staff also made a suggestion for a really good breakfast place nearby - affordable, good quality and large portions. They kept our bags until we got the room in the afternoon. The hotel is clean, rooms/beds are also clean and organized. The elevators looks like it was recently renovated. Some of the previous reviews had mentioned they were slow, but my experiences with them were just fine. The hotel is on the older size, but I quite liked the charm. We were there in early September, so it wasn't the high season, which could have contributed to the better service. They were friendly and very helpful. The only item that made this a four star instead of five star was the AC noise level. It would come on and off during the night, and that did get a little annoying at time. However, all in all this was a pleasant stay. We didn't end up complaining to the hotel about this and decided to just let it go. The hotel is located central to everything - near the foot of Mount Royal and close enough that you can take a long stroll to Old Montreal. St. Catherine street is close by for all your shopping needs. Peel metro is also only a couple minutes away so it's really convenient to venture out a little farther into the city. PS. Third time is not a charm -Avoid suites I was very disappointed my third time at this hotel First two times stayed in a double queen bed room and was overall happy This time I " upgraded " myself to a suite First weirdness was the scary parking garage which I had never used prior Since I arrived after midnight valet was gone and I had to park my car solo Garage has super low ceilings and looks dirty and decrepit I was glad I was not alone as it looks like a horror film Price is similar as any other garages in the area for $20 a day but you could just park on the street which is what I did after first night there Once entered into suite was greeted by very strong mildew mold musty smell throughout Kitchenette was decrepit and not fully equipped Rug throughout and bathroom looked very ancient I suffer from asthma and allergies so I was particularly concerned Bedroom looked nice Immediately requested new room that was more renovated and told to follow up next day Shortly after staying in room started itching throughout my body , sneezing with nasal congestion and headache -a pretty serious allergic reaction to something When I left the room in the morning all symptoms resolved but as soon as I entered the room everything returned Next day I requested room change because of this reaction Initially I was told no rooms of same size available because hotel was booked up I could switch to lower level room but I would not get refunded difference because hotel price has been confirmed online or they could deep clean my room When I spoke with custodian staff they said all rooms get deep cleaned weekly so only option was to place commercial air purifier I was then shown another suite which had the same mildew smell and caused the same allergic reaction In the end I accepted a smaller newer room which did not have the horrible smell and did not elicit my reaction Later that day I was able to speak to a supervisor who refunded the price difference But too much headache when there are a lot of other apartment hotels in downtown Montreal with similar pricing Next time around will check out another option read more

Stayed here on a recent weekend during the jazz fest. Have now stayed here several times, and believe it to be one of the best hotel values in Downtown MTL. Decently sized suite, good kitchen (which generally goes unused, save for fridge), Metro just a block away, and easy walks to jazz fest, Crescent Street bars, Ste Catherine St, Bell Centre and Mont Royal. Also, accommodating staff, decent rooftop pool with great view of the city, and parking--always a bane of MTL trips--is generally $10/day cheaper than other hotels. Overall, a solid hotel that will always be on my radar when heading to Montreal. read more

A real steal here. When you first walk in the hotel it's like going I to some secret service building with a small reception area, typical for it being downtown. The elevator to the room levels blends in with the hotel walls. Which was pretty cool. TO THE ROOM- I didn't expect too much because it was a last minute booking but I was in for a surprise. The room I got was to die for. It was HUUUUGE.its as if I walked into a loft. It was clean (expected), but sparkling clean. The bed was huge as well and very comfortable. Went there for a weekend and ended up in a nice suite. View was ok but not sure why the neighbours got a balcony and we didn't. The view is nice and the location is good just next to the main fun street. Staff was friendly but abrupt. Price was not too bad but the parking was a little high, especially since you could get an indoor parking spot next door for a third of the price. read more

I can't get over how nice and big the rooms are at this place. We paid $150 a night (taxes all in) for a 2 double bed room. The beds were massive and comfy with new linens and lots of big pillows. Huge flatscreen tv and new furnishings. Little kitchenette and huge closet too. Bathroom was large. There was no fan in the bathroom. The rest of the hotel is quite outdated looking, when you get off the elevator on your floor you start thinking "what have I gotten myself into" as the carpets and walls look more 1970s or so. Check-in/check-out was fast, friendly and efficient. Location is super fab, near all the shopping and most good areas are walkable. read more

As others have noted, the kitchens in the "suite" are a little dated, but suited me just fine. As did the very central location, the very comfortable beds, and the good price. Unfortunately, there were a whole lot of teenagers also staying here (for New Years) with a whole lot of alcohol, but the hotel smartly put them all on the same floor and they didn't really bother us. Parking in the lot at the Omni is actually cheaper (and just a few doors down) than parking at the hotel. Street parking is definitely hard to find. And you'll have to pay a few bucks for wireless. So far this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I booked through hotels.com, where it clearly states valet parking. Pull up, not only no valets, but no parking. I was directed to park blocks away with a flat denial that their advertisement said valet parking. Staff thus far has been rude and uncooperative. I will post more as my stay progresses. read more

Nice hotel, a bit dated, but you are getting a suite. Full kitchen, living room with a pullout couch, small bathroom and a seperated bedroom with a king sized bed. I was able to check in a bit early, which was nice. The front desk was quite nice and it seemed over the five days I was there I saw the same girl working everyday morning and night, probably just a coincidence, but take a break. The room was always cleaned and very livable. They need an update on tvs though. Flat screens guys, I know I'm on vacation and hardly in the room, but I love watching local news and weather. The only thing I didn't like was calling for room service. One night we got back late and ordered, apparently close to closing time and they seemed pissed. Great, spit burger here I come. Also went to the hotel bar once. Nothing special, but the bartender was very nice and was quite talkative. The location is great. Around the corner from the Metro, close to shopping, close to the bar scene. All in all a great place to stay. read more

I thought this hotel was pretty standard. Nothing blew me away, but it did deliver on everything I expected. What's giving this place 4 stars are the friendly and knowledgeable staff and its location. Conveniently centered in downtown Montreal, with close proximity to all the shopping, and fun happenings on Crescent or St. Catherines St. Moderately priced as well. When I come back to Montreal, I will definitely book a room here again. read more

A great find and a great hotel in the downtown district! As a first timer to Montreal we were not clear on exactly where we wanted to stay. Based on the reviews, and in researching other hotels, I chose the Hotel Cantlie. The price kinda had me questioning my decision, but boy was I so completely wrong... The facts: it's a fantastic location that puts you one block away from the Metro. You can go anywhere (and trust me, we did), either by the Metro, or by walking. Montreal is one of the most easily walked cities I have ever encountered. It was fantastic! The service was very good, in that we not only were greeted and treated well by the staff, but, we do not speak French. I don't understand any of the reviews citing rude or indifferent treatment. I think maybe these were sourpusses when they walked in the door to begin with. To put our experience into perspective. We actually landed in Montreal, stayed one night at the Cantlie, then spent a couple days in Quebec City, and then returned back to the Cantlie. So we got to experience two different rooms on this trip. The first room was one of the older, non-remodeled rooms. Yes, the room was quite large, with a cubby kitchen area. The bath was rather worn, and the sink and tub had cracks in them. The bed was extremely comfortable, and so we did get a great sleep, before heading out the next morning for Quebec City. Upon our return, they put us in a remodeled room. This was a very large room with a sofa, and full apartment size kitchen. The room and bath had been completely updated. Very nicely done. My only "bitchy" comment would be that I don't understand why hotels put pedestal sinks in. Travelers need a lot of bathroom space, and although cool in appearance, a pedestal sink is useless in this situation. They do have a glass shelf above the sink, but still... We also had difficulty with getting the a/c to function properly. It would come on and cool for about an hour, then the cooling would shut down and we would have just the fan running. It made the room very humid. We would rectify this by shutting off the fan for a few minutes, then restart it. But, when you come "home" after being out all day to a humid and stuffy room, it wasn't so good. The system did cool the room rather quickly. All in all, I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great deal on a really nice and comfortable hotel. Great price, super location, and friendly staff. They also have a restaurant that is open late, and serves a buffet breakfast (or order from the menu). Nice mezzanine lounge area too. read more
