The hotel is located in a great location. I was in building #4 and the room was modern and newly renovated. They have single use toiletries (you don't see these often anymore) which were Le Labo Santal. The bedding was super comfortable and cozy. And their shower head is so fancy with 6 different jets. I had a luxurious shower! Only down side is there's construction going on right outside which woke me up around 7am.

Love their restaurant and bar area.

Perfect location, and great staff. We stayed there 3 nights and everything was perfect. Our room was on the 7th floor and it was located on the 1st building. (Historic one). Apparently they have 4-5 building connected to each other. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is absolutely stunning, I didn't like the fact that the check in is located immediately as you walk into the glass double doors. It's quite small so everyone is sandwiched inside with their luggage, with little room to move around. Nevertheless, just steps away from the front door is a beautiful lounge area with complimentary coffee. The front desk clerks were all friendly and professional. Check in was quick. Location of the hotel is prime. In the heart of Old Montreal. It is housed in four stunning 19th-century neoclassical buildings, opposite the breathtaking Notre-Dame Basilica (which unfortunately was closed). The hotel offers a spa, gym, meeting spaces restaurants and rooftop terrace (summer time only) from where you can enjoy stunning views of the city. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, fireplace, which keeps the room so warm, nespresso coffee machine, ability to control the temperature in your own room. The bathrooms are gorgeous and extremely large. Shower is huge. There is a magnifying mirror for makeup application. Comfortable beds, robes and slippers, and free WiFi as well as a large desk. Rooms look and feel brand new and modern. Cost us about $210/night which is excellent considering hotels location and beauty. What I didn't like was when we got back from dinner around 9:30, we waited outside for valet. When no one came, I finally went inside to ask for assistance at which time they had to call someone to assist in parking our car. That wasted about 10 minutes of our time. Then when we tried to go up to our room for the night, our keys weren't working. I had to go downstairs multiple times to have them reset the keys. When that didn't work, the front desk clerk came up to let us in and advised us we won't be able to have keys to our room because maintenance needs to fix the door. Unfortunately, maintenance isn't available at night. That wasted another 20 minutes of our time. If we want access to our room, we were advised we would need to call the front desk each time to let us in. That's pretty inconvenient and ridiculous, especially since they seem to only have one front desk clerk on duty. Despite above, I really enjoyed this hotel and must give it 5 stars! The staff is beyond nice and accommodating!! Whenever we needed anything, it was brought up to us within minutes.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of March and it was outstanding. The staff was A+. My husband accidentally ordered a movie because the remote got stuck and and they refunded it and sent up someone to fix the remote immediately. The room was very spacious. We upgraded to a junior suite and it was fantastic. Worth the upgrade. It was not the one in the photo but was spacious and worth the extra. We appreciated the tub, robe and slippers! Very good hotel! Excellent location! I would stay here again anytime!

Got a hotel via Expedia that featured upgraded version of two types of suite so when I arrived I was not happy to receive the smaller version. The staff was amazing and they quickly compensated it by giving additional room with no charge. I would say that is a 5 star customer service. The location is fantastic-across from NotreDame and 5 minutes walk to old town. That is 5 star as well. The problem arises with a basic service - hotel ought to provide a rest and that mission hasn't been accomplished. The rooms were large, the mattress was good. The AC is very loud - a bit louder then normal. By far the biggest problem was the single pane historical windows that provide no sound buffer against a night club in the street - about 100' away from my window. There is no way around it - I hear loud music all night long and I hear people having good time while I am not. I hear service pulling chairs as they clean around 3am. The hotel side facing St Jackes Street is unusable. Maybe staff should have the ear plugs for the customers, but that is not cool for an expensive hotel. In summary- awesome place, awesome stuff that misses opportunity to invest in new windows and buffer street sounds. I will not be staying here again because I cannot get rest here but thanks to great hotel stuff.

We booked 2 rooms here. Situated in Old Montreal. Parking is free after 6 pm. Pay app needed for paying parking fee. Valet parking is $36/day. Beautiful architecture. English-speaking staff.

You must stay here it is gorgeous. Great location with 2 minute or less walking distance to the basilica in old Montreal. I love love love my room; high ceilings, clean, rustic (brick wall room) and modern where needed (bathroom). I had an amazing stay; when you enter classical music plays in the room which adds alot of ambience. Quite peaceful. I would definitely return.

Checking in was very easy and they even said they were expecting me, which was very refreshing after the last hotel I stayed in for business, which was the Hilton in Richmond, VA at Short Pump in which the staff was very condescending and poor at checking people in, especially business travelers. This place definitely took great care at check in to make sure I felt welcomed, including asking me if I had any questions. She went over everything I needed to know about the property. When I got to the room I was impressed with the size of it - it was pretty large, with lots of open space, a decent desk, plenty of seating, and a very nice, clean, and comfortable bed which was fitted with ironed sheets! The TV in the room was disproportionately small and their streaming channel options were limited, but I made the best of it, as it's mostly background noise while I'm working anyway. The location is decent, only a couple of blocks from the Rue Sainte-Catherine shopping and dining area, which also has the Complexe Desjardins (a mall). There's a Metro station a block away as well. They have a decent size gym with all the normal stuff and a pretty nice, two-level lounge for those with access via their loyalty level. Overall, I'm enjoying the stay here and would return!

One standout was the gym, which is much better than what you typically find in hotels, with multiple treadmills, a stair stepper, ellipticals, and a solid selection of weights. They also have a two lane indoor pool and an indoor hot tub, which were nice added amenities. I especially appreciated that my room had a patio, it was great being able to get some fresh air. The only downside was the noise. There were very loud neighbours in the hallway with screaming and music playing until around 11:30 pm. I contacted the front desk and was told security would be sent up, but no one came and the noise continued past midnight. Overall, a solid hotel with great amenities, but the lack of follow through on the noise issue was disappointing.

Let's start with cleanliness. The room is outdated, beat up, and was bordering on filthy. See the attached pics featuring the desk chair. I happened to be in a street facing room so there is the occasional bit of noise, but that wasn't a problem. Then there's the temperature. In one of the hottest weeks Montréal has seen so far this summer, my air conditioning unit was practically non-functional. The temperature in my room regularly topped out at 26 degrees. The young man at the front desk was happy to come reset the unit (I want to add here that the lobby air conditioning also seemed to be non-functional, horrible for the staff) and it briefly cooled down to a to a tolerable 22. Same song and dance the next day, where I had to go buy a fan from Best Buy in an attempt to get more than a few hours of decent sleep. No one ever followed up with me to see if things were improved, so I had to approach the front desk again. The same nice young gentleman came to my room, fiddled with the display for the AC for a few minutes, and I had a blissful night at 21.5 degrees. One night. I'm currently on night 6 (thank god, the last one) of my stay and it's 26 degrees. Never was I offered a different room, I had to ask (and none were available), never did they try to get a repairman into the room, nothing. It's made my stay here horrible. The hotel is located in a dodgy part of Rue Saint-Catherine. Red lights district with a visible unhoused population, and as a solo female traveler I experienced some harassment coming to and leaving from the hotel. I wouldn't feel safe being out after dark here. During the day it's relatively convenient to metro lines and a reasonable walk from local attractions. For a chain, I expect better. The staff was nice enough but there are no standards. Guests bang around at all hours of the night and you can feel vibrations through the walls. The AC panel blazes a bright blue light into the room all night, making it impossible to sleep unless you're knocked out or wear an eye mask. The hotel itself is worn and dingy. I didn't even try the breakfast for fear of wasting a vacation day on the toilet. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The entire building smelled of smoke. 2. Front desk staff barely communicative. 3. Room was FAR smaller than advertised and was also dirty. The room to which I was assigned looked like NOTHING IN ANY OF THE PHOTOS. 4. Public shared restroom: i did not even go in since everything else smelled like piss, cigarettes and beer, I figured the bathrooms were also disgusting. 5. The only plus is that I got a few dollars of one key rewards for walking in and out of a horriffic, unsanitary, smoky boarding home- far far below any consideration of the name "hotel."
