The staff assisted me in my hotel/airport transfers and was very helpful in obtaining a water taxi or car to visit nearby cities. There is an elevator that takes you down to the beach level, where you can relax and enjoy a drink or lunch. The private beach has beautiful clear blue water for swimming and a dock where you can catch a water taxi. From the elevator, there is a path that winds through an alluring tunnel, with interesting glimpses of the rugged coastline. The Grand Hotel Tritone is the ideal place to stay when visiting the Amalfi Coast. The little town of Praiano, is intimate and quiet after a long day of touring. The hotel provides a free shuttle in the evening into the Praiano town center each evening, where you can grab a bite to eat at some of the local favorite restaurants. And the restaurant next to the pool I went to everyday for lunch. I do wish they had more gluten free / vegan options actually on the menu.. seeing as it's a hotel with lots of travelers of different diets.. but they gave me a delicious fruit plate and fresh gluten free rolls with a side of avocado which I appreciated, and luckily I'm a light eater so this worked fine. The location was great right between Praiano and Positano. And they offer free shuttles to get around since there are no Ubers and rarely taxis on the Almafi coast.. so this was very helpful.
