My husband and I recently were in Italy for a cooking school and planned a side trip to Sorrento…read moreand Capri. We had booked a vacation rental for our night in Capri, which turned out to be a bogus booking that left us in a panic to find last minute, alternative lodging the Saturday night before Easter. While I spent an hour plus on the phone with VRBO support, my husband was able to reach out to front desk staff at Hotel Quisisana to find us a room. The staff were very sympathetic and kind regarding our situation and not only found us a room, but a room that was a spectacular upgrade from our other accommodations. We had a gorgeous view of the sea, a large patio with seating, two separate bathrooms (one with a large tub I had an indulgent soak in) and what was likely the most comfortable bed I've ever enjoyed in any past stays in Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed being pampered in their hotel bar, where we enjoyed people watching from their patio seating; the bar staff kept bringing us all these delicious snacks throughout our two rounds of drinks. I've stayed in some high end hotels in Southern California (U.S.) that I used to count as my best hotel stays ever...but Hotel Quisisana now stands as the most luxurious hotel I've ever enjoyed in my life. My husband and I already have agreed that we would happily return for a future stay and pampering by the gracious staff at Hotel Quisisana.

We had an awesome time just sitting pretty while sipping on limoncello and Hugo spritz. They provided yummy complementary snacks like chips, olives and cheese and tomato skewers. Such a nice treat. The service was top tier and I look forward to visiting next time I'm in Capri.

It is clean, quiet and well maintained with beautiful grounds surrounding the premises. It has a popular roof top bar that enjoys the same views as the hotel, which as mentioned, are exquisite. Breakfast is very good and offers a wide range of day starters. The hotel's location makes it a fairly long walk to the Piazza and is generally uphill going, so it may be difficult for some, but if you can, you should. The staff is professional, and maybe a bit stiff at the front desk, but the hotel and pool waiters are very attentive. Francesco, who attends at the pool anticipates your requests and acts quickly to meet them. Bravo!

Wow wow wow. Just wow. Loved my stay here at Hotel Luna. Great prices for the high season. Still…read morepricey, but so worth it. The pool is huge and very nice to go for a swim and tan. The staff at the pool is also very welcoming and attentive. Francesco does everything with such delight, and that's how employees should work. He actually wants to be here to help out. Anyways the lunch at the pool area is also delicious. I recommend the shrimp avocado salad and the king prawns. Loved it. The breakfast is so delicious as well. Very fresh. It's more of a continental buffet, but you can order from the menu as well. The omelette I ordered with prosciutto and tomatoes was amazing. The coffee spectacular. The view of the hotel is nothing like I've seen before. So beautiful, you can see the mountainside and the ocean at the same time. It's also a quiet hotel, where everyone respects that. Perfectly vintage as well. The rooms are very clean and the staff does a very good job at keeping it that way. One criticism I have is that the concierge were not that helpful in helping us make reservations with restaurants. They should've tried more I feel. Other than that that we had a beautiful stay! Thank you hotel Luna! We will come back again next year !

Hotel is stunning!…read more Restaurant Mama: First meal of our trip was extremely exquisite! The flavors were so rich and delicious. It was the best beginning meal! My husband chose the beef ravioli, and I selected the truffle gnocchi with walnuts. My husband's ravioli were housemade and extremely tasteful. However, I would order this gnocchi Every single time, it was that good! The shaved truffle on top was the perfect edition! This will hands-down be one of my favorite meals ever! The view is absolutely breathtaking, we had the restaurant to ourselves because we chose to eat early that night and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect beginning to an amazing trip.

I do like the freshly squeezed orange juice though! Staff are friendly, and there's an outdoor gym. I didn't care for the equipment as you can't really adjust the machines and it seems like it's also the smoking area. It's a bit difficult to do cardio in hot weather and smell cigarette smoke, so that wasn't very enjoyable. Pool is small and I skipped it. There's plenty of seats in the shade and they also have a small hot tub by the garden area separate from the pool. I really liked the tiny libraries and think that should be an option at all hotels in the States! I traded the books I brought and took new ones. Room is okay. They don't service it very well, sometimes only just making the bed and not taking out the garbage. I also felt like the shower was a smidge small and the folded up shower seat was discolored, so a bit off-putting. Everything is also so high up! Like the towel hooks and the toiletries. It's more work for us shorter people to reach! They also offer complimentary service around specific Praiano bus stops, so a bit nice... however, it's quicker at times to just walk it yourself.
