There are 8 parking spaces conveniently located at the front. The property has three sweet and old dogs named Yogi, Vanilla, and Chocolate. They like to approach people and greet; just don't try to pet them. The outdoor space consists of a shaded and lit cabana, grill, jacuzzi, and two hammocks over fresh grass. There is also a nice outdoor area for visitors to sit and eat on picnic benches. We were a big party, so we reserved 6 rooms (rooms1-6); I stayed in room 2. The white bed sheets were clean, the furniture was dated, the walls are painted, but chipped. The bathroom and shower were not clean to my expectations. Before using the bathroom sink and shower, make sure to run the water for a few minutes because a foul order came up from the water being stagnant during their down times. Your free breakfast options are very delicious chilaquiles, machaca, omelette, huevos rancheros, frijjoles, and fresh and delicious fruit! Everyone working there was very nice!

There's a pool table, fire pit, and hammocks for lazing about after a nice day of wine tasting. Before I get to the review of the hotel , I will tell you about an incident that occurred before we arrived to the hotel. On our way to the hotel we decided to stop at a grocery store before checking in so that we wouldn't have to go back out once it got later in the night . Unfortunately our car got broken into while we were in the store and we had to file a report with the police so we called the front desk to let them know we would he checking in late due to what had just happened , the lady at the front desk was really nice and understanding. She told us to take our time and take care of the issue we were having . My family and I were pretty shook up by what happened to us and we were contemplating just driving back home . But once we arrived at Quintas Papagayo and checked into our room we felt a little better . The premises felt safe and quiet , there is a gated and monitored entrance . The room was clean and the ocean view was so relaxing . It looked like they had updated the rooms and the pool area since we had last been there. The overnight security noticed our car window was shattered and he stopped by to check on us to make sure we were okay . We told him what had happened at the grocery store and he let us know that he was very concerned when he saw the broken window . It really goes to show that the security team is monitoring the premises and noting anything out of the ordinary. The front desk , maintenance and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and helpful . We asked someone at the front desk if we could have some leftover cardboard so that we could cover our broken window for the drive back to the states and they were able to find some for us . Everyone was always happy to help us out . My kids really enjoyed the pool and just hanging out on the patio in the evening. Although our getaway started off on a bad note , we were able to make the best of it ! I'm glad my kids got to experience this place just like I did when I was a kid .

I suspect due to the number of large interior villas, the property is packed with kids. While it's clearly a great spot to entertain children, getting anywhere near the hot tub for a relaxing soak simply isn't happening. I even tried waking up early to get in a quiet morning soak, only to learn the pool area doesn't open until 9:00 AM. and there's just something that seems so wrong about a 65-year-old man joining children in a hot tub. Once finally seeing children free, I discovered it was water that I wouldn't choose to get into and the actual jets were not working. In the room, you're provided with an antiquated coffee maker but no actual coffee, leaving your only on-site option an 85-peso price tag for a basic black cup. To top it off, you actually have to leave your physical ID just to borrow a pool towel, which feels a bit extreme compared to standard check-out sign-ins. After all, you do leave a 500 peso deposit upon check in. I will say I was impressed with the delivery of a large drink of water upon check up check-in and I certainly didn't mind pouring it into glasses however no jug is provided and I could imagine some folks having difficulty maneuvering it. All in all, the staff is amazing and the location is perfection. It just seems that any of the inadequacies stem entirely from the way the hotel is being managed.

The food is pretty decent as well, purchase the breakfast buffet online with the reservation, it's a bit less expensive. It's also just a little drive from the port, restaurants, and shops.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with plenty of room to spread out after long days of eating our way through Ensenada and wine tasting in the valley. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is amazing. Service throughout the property was warm and welcoming. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to want guests to enjoy their stay. One thing I appreciate about Coral & Marina is that it offers a different vibe than the large resort-style properties further south. It feels quieter, more relaxed, and more authentically Ensenada. It's the kind of place where you can spend the morning at the spa, the afternoon exploring fish taco stands and wineries, and the evening watching the sunset over the marina with a glass of Baja wine. That killed the appetite pretty quick. We also ordered wine but we did not ask for the price and they ended up pouring a very expensive bottle. It was good but make sure you ask because the bill was pretty high We also booked this place because paddle boarding was offered. When we went to rent the boards they said they were not renting them out. I came across this hotel on Hotel.com and from the photos it looked like a nice local spot at a great price. Upon arriving, the staff have all been friendly and very welcoming. After checking in, we were giving a quick took of the facility from the pool to the dining room (provide breakfast/lunch) and finally to our room. Everything we needed was included in the room. Would of liked to have a mini fridge, but then again many and all food and drinks we bought didn't last long to where we needed one. The beds are very firm, but supporting and very relaxing to lay on. Staying at this hotel, you are within walking distances of well over dozens of restaurants, bars, clothing shops... Tourist spot for those who take the Ensenada cruise. Definitely will eh staying here again.

This hotel could be wayyyyy better but there are little details that made our stay not as good as…read morewe expected. First of all, the road to the hotel is horrible!!! It's an open road and you will only feel comfortable if you are driving a truck or go 2 miles an hour. Secondly, our room wasn't ready until 3:45pm, the room was nice, but it wasn't cleaned properly. The floor was dusty and there were pieces of food next to the bed. The night tables were also dusty and the sink in the bathroom looked dirty. They advertise a rain shower head, but there's just water going everywhere at changing pressure, it's a nightmare if you are trying to wash your hair! Their spa closes at 3:30pm, so treatments are only available in the morning. Their pool is not heated and in order to access the jacuzzi, you have to pay a day pass at the spa ($80 per person). The complimentary breakfast they offer is just coffee, fruit and small muffin or brownie, but the menu they have is pretty good. We had the fit omelette, the brioche bread and the huarache and it was all very tasty. The one positive thing about this place is their restaurant "fuego". We ate there twice and loooooved their food. I wouldn't really recommend this property unless you have someone else driving you around. After doing more research, we realized there are wayyyy better properties, and this one is not worth the $200 a night.
