Wow!!!!!! This place is GORGEOUS!! Security so not just anyone can come in which is nice for tourist safety. This place is SOOOOOO clean. The rooms are immaculate and the customer service is great! The Jr. Suite was phenomenal and I felt like a queen. All of the amenities were so great and I wish I were able to stay longer to enjoy everything the resort had to offer. We got breakfast both mornings and I was in heaven. My two favorite things...pozole and crème brule for breakfast!!! Wow! Amazing! We had the ceviche and frankly it was the best I have EVER had!!! We were referred by a local which is the highest praise in my opinion! Definitely try this place!!!

Absolutely loved our weekend here. Jesus at the front desk knew our names and said he was expecting us. The view of the marina and water was breathtaking. The pools are clean and inviting, the indoor pool was heated and well suited for lap swims. The breakfasts are amazing offering an omelette bar, grilled meats, tasty sweets and fresh squeezed Orange juice. We also ate dinner there - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Servers were happy and attentive. We were there to celebrate the adoption of our friends' little girl. Karla in reservations prepared a note and gift which was waiting in their room when they arrived. How thoughtful and kind! We will definitely return.

Hotel Coral & Marina was definitely one of the best hotels in Baja. The hotel was beautiful and EXTREMELY clean! There was always someone spraying and cleaning furniture and doors! The MAJORITY of the staff was extremely friendly! The front desk and hospitality team members were always smiling and willing to help. One gentleman looked to be on his way home but stopped to ask if I needed help with luggage. I was waiting for the hubby. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautiful. Ambience and view were beautiful. The reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 Stars was truly due to the restaurant team members and their food. The first and only dinner we had there consisted of surf and turf. We ordered steak, seafood soup, pastas and enchiladas. Each dish with clams had several unopened (dead or no good clams), they kept forgetting the salsa, the soup broth was extremely salty and the enchiladas were dry. We had to as for extra enchilada sauce and they only did it for one of the plates. We spoke to the waiter, but he didn't even offer to replace the clams. In fact, he brought out the pasta dish with bad clams as well. The Sunday breakfast buffet was theeee best! They had an outdoor rotisserie of lamb, beef, oysters and array of fresh choices. Please note THE BUFFET BREAKFAST IS ONLY ON THE WEEKENDS! The regular breakfast buffet was mediocre. Nothing to brag about and choices were scarced. Not worth the $25. We should have ordered room service. If they would improve the restaurant team and a consistent quality standard in their meals, it would definitely get 5 Stars!

Enjoyed my stay!! I loved our stayed. The restaurant was my favorite part!! Our waiter Daniel was superb!!!! He elevated customer service to another level. Food was amazing as well. Shout out to the best waiter I've ever encountered, Daniel!

Nice rooms and many come with a balcony and fabulous water view. It was the restaurant that won my heart during our most recent visit. Known for their breakfast buffet, we weren't that hungry so we ordered from the menu. 5 days later, we were still waking up with the excitement of breakfast and ordering off the menu! Professional and welcoming staff wherever you wander. Beautiful outside pool area. (Also inside pool and large gym.) Safe, mostly covered, parking. Over time, this hotel's north Ensenada location has become a plus. There was always a beautiful marina, but now the city's excitement has expanded to this area. More amenities and fun stuff to do within walking distance or a short drive of the hotel, in particular tasting rooms and craft breweries that also serve food.

Booked this hotel for the weekend because the hotel I usually stay was booked. The room I got 611 was horrible outdated broken chair, ac unit control broken carpet old dirty and lifting told front desk and totally didn't cared. I pay half cash and on the receipt the girl Leslie was putting a less amount than what I had given her until I told her. Bar area chairs is horrible rip outdated really makes the hotel look old and very outdated. Spa was horrible on the massage services I usually go to get massages in tijuana which is way better all they did here was rub your back with oil no pressure didn't feel relax at all with that service. Very dissatisfied experience and will not recommend this outdated hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Pricing was very reasonable ($156US per night) for our stay. The junior suites were huge and well air conditioned. Love the large walk in shower as well. The bed and the sofa were very comfortable. Although it would have been better to have a balcony, the patio just outside our room was a nice place to sit and people watch over a cup of coffee or a cocktail. Didn't get a chance to try the food at the hotel, but after seeing them roast a whole pig over a spit in the outdoor patio to the restaurant, we're looking forward to return visit for a full experience here. Only negative is that since the hallways are mainly made of concrete and ceramic tiles, sounds could reverberate, especially from drunk, festive hotel guests slowly heading back to their rooms late at night (and you're trying to sleep).

Be aware! If you book a reservation online and if you cannot stay the days that were booked, the hotel will not refund your money.

I'll list the pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful view of the marina, though they tried to give us a room, the same floor as the lobby, though I booked a sea view room. Thankfully they changed it when I spoke up. Staff speaks fluent English Spacious room (Jr suite) and a lovely balcony I loved having a coffee maker and a fridge Pretty Americanized if that's your thing and full of tourists You feel especially safe with the guard, who asks you to verify your info Restaurant on the premises though you have to pay for it Cons: VERY noisy rooms with paper thin walls You can hear everyone, alongside their kids walking in the hallway (floors are tile) The rooms are outdated and the carpet is dirty Very loud at night (the hold events at the hotel premises but the noise goes down past 11pm) Our TV was broken but thankfully the bedroom one worked. The lighting in the rooms is a bit dark and depressing. A remodel is much needed Nice hotel, but if want something more clean, up to date and quiet, this is not the one. If you desire security as your number one (most hotels tho have a guard) definitely consider this one

The large marina is part of of the hotel complex so you and your guests are afforded much more than a marina. Additionally of great importance is the Marina's well known check in and check out services for easy entry into or departure from Mexico. A minimal extra service charge provides you with a translator, transport and help with the paperwork. Quite honestly, pleasure vessels are crazy if they don't clear customs in Ensenada through the help of El Coral. Even when not on a boat, this is an excellent venue for relaxation or fun times. Easy drive or shuttle into downtown Ensenada.

Our wives walked into this gem and reserved a table for our party of eight. The seating is basically outdoors with a beachy feel. There are awesome views of the marina and the menu is extensive. I requested the Arrachera Sandwich which is basically Skirt Steak. It was tender, seasoned and it came with fries. My wife had the Fish Tacos and the kids had Fish Tacos & Car e Asada Nachos respectively. As an add on, we passed around Taquitos with Guacamole. I also drank a glass of Nebbiolo, while the rest of the family had Strawberry Lemonade. The weather & the setting was perfect after a Sun-filled chlorinated day. The entire group was really impressed. Their deck area also has a few gas fire pits to enjoy in the evening with some cocktails and appetizers. Again, the service here was way above board. Before I get to the review of the hotel , I will tell you about an incident that occurred before we arrived to the hotel. On our way to the hotel we decided to stop at a grocery store before checking in so that we wouldn't have to go back out once it got later in the night . Unfortunately our car got broken into while we were in the store and we had to file a report with the police so we called the front desk to let them know we would he checking in late due to what had just happened , the lady at the front desk was really nice and understanding. She told us to take our time and take care of the issue we were having . My family and I were pretty shook up by what happened to us and we were contemplating just driving back home . But once we arrived at Quintas Papagayo and checked into our room we felt a little better . The premises felt safe and quiet , there is a gated and monitored entrance . The room was clean and the ocean view was so relaxing . It looked like they had updated the rooms and the pool area since we had last been there. The overnight security noticed our car window was shattered and he stopped by to check on us to make sure we were okay . We told him what had happened at the grocery store and he let us know that he was very concerned when he saw the broken window . It really goes to show that the security team is monitoring the premises and noting anything out of the ordinary. The front desk , maintenance and housekeeping staff were also very friendly and helpful . We asked someone at the front desk if we could have some leftover cardboard so that we could cover our broken window for the drive back to the states and they were able to find some for us . Everyone was always happy to help us out . My kids really enjoyed the pool and just hanging out on the patio in the evening. Although our getaway started off on a bad note , we were able to make the best of it ! I'm glad my kids got to experience this place just like I did when I was a kid .

Fortunately, you'll have that incredible view to look at, because you won't be able to be online much with the atrocious, sketchy Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects end. I suspect due to the number of large interior villas, the property is packed with kids. While it's clearly a great spot to entertain children, getting anywhere near the hot tub for a relaxing soak simply isn't happening. I even tried waking up early to get in a quiet morning soak, only to learn the pool area doesn't open until 9:00 AM. and there's just something that seems so wrong about a 65-year-old man joining children in a hot tub. Once finally seeing children free, I discovered it was water that I wouldn't choose to get into and the actual jets were not working. In the room, you're provided with an antiquated coffee maker but no actual coffee, leaving your only on-site option an 85-peso price tag for a basic black cup. To top it off, you actually have to leave your physical ID just to borrow a pool towel, which feels a bit extreme compared to standard check-out sign-ins. After all, you do leave a 500 peso deposit upon check in. I will say I was impressed with the delivery of a large drink of water upon check up check-in and I certainly didn't mind pouring it into glasses however no jug is provided and I could imagine some folks having difficulty maneuvering it. All in all, the staff is amazing and the location is perfection. It just seems that any of the inadequacies stem entirely from the way the hotel is being managed.
