What a lovely property! We were delighted with our two night stay. It was a welcome break from the French Quarter madness. The Front Desk was outstanding! Jesse and Candy made us feel very welcome. Oliver, at the bar, was great! He made good drinks, was friendly and fast. The bar food is very tasty, especially the flat bread. We were happy with our room. It was stylish and roomy. I really like the large bathroom. There's nothing I didn't enjoy. They earned this 5 star rating. Great location...easy access to the street car, restaurants and interesting sites in the neighborhood.

This Girley Gil is in love with this Hidden Gem I am definitely a Marriott Girl and chose to book this Autograph Collection because I wanted something different and I can honestly say the entire experience exceeded my expectations! After checking in on the App I sent a chat with a request for an upgrade. As an Ambassador if there is one available it's granted. This is not guaranteed, so I always appreciate when it's available and honored! The Suite was so amazing! The modern & colorful decor, spacious layout, fireplace, luxurious King-sized bed, view of the city, and the large claw foot tub had me captured in bliss! I cannot rave enough about the super friendly staff! Tamika, the front-desk superstar not only answered my chat messages and call the day before checking in, but was there when I checked in. Her kindness, warm personality, and energetic demeanor made me happy. We chatted and I thanked her for being kind over the phone and in person. She shared details about the hotel and asked me to let her know the next day what my thoughts were about the suite & hotel. The next morning I shared all of the amazing things I loved! She is the type of staff I wish I would always experience at all hotels! I work remotely, so chose to work while having breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel. Laura wax my Server and was just as pleasant and inviting as Tamika! She explained the menu and gave me a recommendation to try the Shrimp & Grits. It was so delicious! The serving was generous and seasoned so well. I truly recommend! I ate it before remembering to take a pic!! I dined and worked for a few hours. During this time she came and chatted with me and made sure I had everything I needed. There's more! The General Manager took the time to come yo my table and introduce himself. Sorry, I forgot his name, but not him and how valuable he made me feel. We spoke about the hotel, I shared my sentiments, and he truly listened. Before he left he blessed me with a complimentary glass of Cabernet. This hidden Gem is the only Marriott hotel in New Orleans that is not located downtown. So if you're traveling there and would love a quieter area that's still close to downtown, this is it! It's in the vicinity of many restaurants, streetcar, and other attractions! And it's an Autograph Collection. One of my faves! Please note, this is not Hotel Indigo! There's been a major renovation and change of ownership

New Orleans, Louisiana is one of my favorite cities in the world and I love staying at the Hotel Indigo when I'm here.

I've been visiting New Orleans, one of my favorite cities in the world, several times a year for many many years and I always stay at the Hotel Indigo. Good sized quiet rooms with nice flooring and furnishings, good closets and nice bathrooms. The room service and food is good and there are stores and restaurants within easy walking distance for anything you might need. I've been here so many times and I've never had a bad exchange or experience with the staff. They are terrific and provide consistently good service. I've had conversations with people in many different jobs at the hotel and they've all been so nice and so helpful. It's why I keep coming back. I usually rent a car at the airport and park on the street near the hotel. I can usually grab a spot on Jackson, between Brainard and St. Charles, and if not, I go across the street and park on Jackson between St. Charles and Prytania Steet. It's pretty easy to get a spot. One of the things I love about NOLA is that, if you'd prefer not driving, the Taxi's come right away and are affordable and you can get an Uber right away as well. Access to everything New Orleans has to offer is easy with the Indigo as a base of operations, and it's so nice and comfortable to return to after a day or night of exploring and fun.

Tommy is the BEST bartender... His Old Fashioned is the best I've EVER had! He doesn't use Kool-Aid like Pat O'brians, he uses REAL juice and good rum. A bartender that takes pride in his drinks - calls the bar good "grille" like a great chef. Food is good and inexpensive. HIGHLY recommended!!!

The historic space is beautiful and provided excellent flow at my daughter's wedding. The food was exquisite. And I simply can't say enough about Rylan, Millie, Hana and the rest of the staff at Latrobe's. Their professionalism, their attention to detail, their care and patience - all are unmatched. We did not hire a wedding planner and now, knowing just how much work is involved in planning a wedding, I think we simply couldn't have done it without their guidance and tips, which they provided even for events beyond the wedding and their scope of work. The whole event ran so smoothly that I was worry-free and thoroughly able to enjoy the wedding myself. Giving our guests a real taste of New Orleans was incredibly important. If our guests did nothing else during their trip, we wanted them to feel like they had an experience unique to the city. Latrobe's definitely helped us achieve that. From the beautiful courtyard complete with burning gas lamps, to the grand banking room, to the wonderful food selection of delicious regional delicacies. Many of our guests told us that they felt they had been transported back in time. That it was the best, most unique wedding they had ever attended - and with the best food! Lastly, the team at Latrobe's is incredible - I actually miss talking to them every week! (LOL) Rylan, Hana, and Millie are the best. I am so grateful for their expertise, patience, and kindness during the entire planning process. A big thank you to Rylan especially for her guidance during our tasting and rehearsal! We would also like to thank the day-of event team, including Marté and David, who made us feel so special on our wedding day. Many of our guests commented on the kindness of the Latrobe's staff who made them feel so welcome. In conclusion, there are simply not enough stars to accurately review Latrobe's! My daughter and her fiancé did a detailed search for just the right wedding venue to meet their needs. We booked Marché about six months in advance after visiting multiple venues, and it quickly stood out. The planning process can be tedious and tricky, but their Special Events Operations Manager, Wallace, was truly exceptional. He is the primary reason we chose Marché and, ultimately, the reason our wedding day was such a success. Why we chose Marché: * Excellent French Quarter location * Beautiful views from multiple balconies * Great layout for ceremony, dining, and dancing * Incredible, authentic New Orleans food * Excellent value for the price * Wallace's professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond What impressed us most after the wedding: * The tasting was extremely helpful in finalizing food and drink selections * We were able to customize ceremony and dining layouts to fit our vision * Time allotted for both ceremony and reception was more than adequate * Food was outstanding and widely praised by guests * Bartenders made great drinks and happily accommodated requests * Wine, liquor, and beer selections were very good * The "flip" from ceremony to dance space was executed flawlessly--fast, organized, and exactly as planned Guest feedback: * The staff welcomed our guests with enthusiasm and excitement. They made everyone feel welcome. * We received countless compliments, with many saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended * Guests loved the food, drinks, and smooth flow from dining to dancing Helpful recommendations: * Take full advantage of the balconies--we threw beads to guests waiting in Dutch Alley before the second line, which was a highlight * Have champagne passed as guests arrive to set a celebratory tone * Do not overdecorate the ceremony room--the chandeliers, floors, windows, and lighting are already stunning * Encourage guests to use the balconies at night; the views are amazing (our cigar bar was a big hit) * Highly recommend a second line--it creates a fantastic guest experience and allows time for reception setup * A separate "day-of" coordinator is unnecessary if you are organized--Wallace and his team handle everything seamlessly One small negative (for transparency): Our assigned salesperson was slow to respond to emails, and her in-person communication style was abrupt. However, this did not impact the success of our wedding and should not discourage anyone from choosing Marché. Overall, Creole Cuisine Company and its employees are consistently professional and hospitable at all levels of leadership and staff. Planning tip: Carefully review the food and beverage brochure and ask detailed pricing questions. We created a spreadsheet to track costs and maximize value. Be sure to ask about reduced pricing for minors and vendors. Final note: Wallace is a true gem--kind, positive, respectful, and incredibly attentive. Because of his leadership, the entire team operates at the highest level. Not a single guest needed anything all night, and the bride and groom were truly taken care of. Marché delivered an unforgettable wedding experience, and we recommend it without hesitation.

I want to start by saying how excited I am for the development of the entire Oretha Castle Haley corridor. I think in a year it is going to be one of the hottest areas in the city. Just a note: it's on a corner and I took a picture of the door, so that you can be on the lookout. The venue itself is lovely. It's a wide open space with a nice bar and plenty of seating. There is gorgeous art on the wall and I like that there is a lot of space to move around. Big selling point: the air conditioning here works like a champ. A lot of times you get into these old buildings, and the ac can't keep up with the space, but that was not the case here. Plenty of windows let in the light during the day, which I am always a fan of; I hate going to dark event spaces during the day and feeling like I'm in a dungeon. There is a stage area where students for Big Class read poems. I presume that other performances take place on the stage as well. There are even some sofas for comfy seating as you enjoy whatever is happening on stage or just mingling with friends. I didn't get to explore it, but there's an upstairs area as well. It should be noted that the building is located on an extremely well lit block, so if you attend an event here at night you should feel pretty safe. I look forward to attending more events here and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more fundraisers that may be held here.
