The concierge service was helpful they were able to call restaurant and cabs for us. The location of Mi Amor was also great, not that far from tulum ruins. We were also able to walk to the beach within 5 minutes. Food and service were excellent. We ate breakfast basically every morning at the hotel and we enjoyed everything from the pancakes, granola, oat, avocado toast, teas, and coffees. For lunch and dinner we ate at Mezzanine, casa Maria, and also went outside of the national park down by the hotel zone. The massage was great, we booked ahead of time for the couples massage and really liked it. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Mi Amor, we felt safe and enjoyed our time there.

The concierge is wonderful and attention to detail too notch ... for example, every night, you'll find a complimentary thermos w/ sleepy time tea and truffles in your room, alongside a love note. Your room will be cleaned daily and even your iPhone cords will be beautifully folded up. I recommend getting a room closer to the ocean side as things can get load from main road. Enjoy the breakfast (and entire menu!) here as the food is best of all of tulum.

Where to start. The…read more$400 round trip car service just to get here is a good place. First, the price changed when we arrived from what they had emailed -- and on the hour journey we had no water, cervesas, snacks or conversation with the driver of the 15 year old Suburban. Since the rooms are so "rustic" the rain covered our cement floors making it dangerous to walk to the bathroom -- where you can't flush the toilet paper, it has to be thrown in the garbage can (yeah, let that s(t)ink in). In new communities, we typically use the concierge to navigate the pitfalls, buyer beware. Not only do they not present ideas on how to enjoy their town, they are not looking out for you. We asked for a cab to go into a restaurant .9 miles down the street -- he secured a cab (which are everywhere) for 2,500 pesos or $156 USD! In his defense, it was a round trip fare (lol). After getting fired up (which kills any joy you're looking/hoping for) he found one for 2000 pesos -- I walk out to the cab and got us to the restaurant for 300 each way, which equals $38 -- but still. Other highlights -- my daughters woke up to a couple of cockroaches, there's nowhere to sit comfortably in the rooms and clearing the seaweed from the white sands beach makes you feel like you're on a dude ranch (working for your breakfast). Lastly, Tulum is EXPENSIVE! We don't come on vacations to save money but everything here is wildly expensive -- for the 4 of us it's about $1000 USD a day to eat. Again, spending money is part of the drill but you are stuck and they know it. The reviews that say slightly more expensive are false -- we travel (to Mexico) quite a bit and this place by far the priciest I've ever encountered (and I go to Las Vegas annually). The upside -- it's safe. I mean, why would the kill the golden goose.

It's like a 5-10 minute walk downtown but downtown is pretty loud. This was close enough but just far away to be calm. ***ATMOSPHERE*** The inside is insane! It really feels like a 5 star resort. There are saunas, hot tubs, cold tubs, a zero entry beach-like pool that curves around surrounded by plants. There is a huge space downstairs that is covered and has a kitchen area, seating and hanging chairs. They have a pool on the roof and other amenities. The inside is so nicely decorated and the stairwells have an opening to outside and it's overall just super nice. Inside of the rooms is amazing! We were 3 in a 6 person suite so we paid like 28 USD each per night but had we been 6, the price would have been 14 USD a night per person over a holiday weekend! The room included keypad entry with code, then you open the front door to two more doors directly. One led to a bedroom with full bath and fridge and everything, the other led to a living room with pull out couch, with dining table, couch, full kitchen, a balcony with a private hot tub, bikes, and a half bath, and then off of that room there was a big bedroom with full bath. ***STAFF*** The staff was friendly and they helped us get in right away and everything was very smooth and instructions were simple. ***CONCLUSION*** Will definitely be back next time I'm in Tulum!

It is a small hotel boutique located on a secluded beach of Tulum. It's at the start of the boutique road and walking distance to every store and restaurants. Nayeli the front office lady and staff are just genuine people, so humble and nice. So attentive and great customer service. Nayeli welcome us into our hotel room and gave us a quick little tour and guide around the property and town. The bungalows are very simple but honestly it's everything you need. Beds, restroom, porch with a hammock! Our room did not have a tv but honestly you don't need one. We had our rooms and iPads, they have WiFi. Expect to spend a lot of time on the beach, and relax! Shut down electrics. The restroom, food and drinks is perfect! Everything is honestly good! I was not disappointed. Again, they are so attentive! The best part of the private beach! Located between two late rocks. It's literally your own beach! The walk out is a little rocky by once you walk about 3 feet you feel the smooth sand, you can walk out for miles (probably) They also have many turtles nests! They work closely with an organization that tracks / takes care of them. If you are lucky! You will see them hatch! I was very fortune to experience it. It was BEAUTIFUL. My kids had so much fun. Thank you to the worker that opened coconuts for them! Thank you everyone for making mom life easier! You will not be disappointed. Forever grateful and can't wait to go back one day.

Since it was off-season, there was an extra discount by booking through them directly. I do have to say, Nayeli was fantastic via email with us for months prior to our reservation! She was always available to answer questions for me. Once we arrived, we were welcomed by Grace, and she was so friendly and always smiling! She made sure our stay was pleasant! The rest of the staff was wonderful, I wish I could remember all their names! Ulices and Desiderio were wonderful at the restaurant as well. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the Zone Hotelera near other restaurants and bars and hotels, so you can hop around throughout the day if you'd like, or just stay on the beach. Room A Superior was on the second floor of the boutique style rooms. The inside was cozy, we had a couch, 2 balconies, a hammock, and patio furniture to sit out and watch the ocean waves crash. The thatch roof was sealed so we never had bugs in the room. The AC always worked great as well! Didn't have any problems keeping cool when we were in the room. And the bed was extremely comfortable, no complaints! We would close the blinds around the bed nightly just for the look, no real need for mosquito nets unless you keep your balcony door open and they get in. The safe was easy to use and just the right size for our wallets and passports...don't plan on bringing anything larger than in iPad if you want to lock it up. The room was clean, and because of it being a beachside hotel, sand in your room was inevitable, but it only added to the charm of the place! The room was cleaned daily and we always had fresh towels, toiletries, and 2 bottles of fresh water. Use this water to brush your teeth! The water from the faucet is salty, which we were warned about prior to our stay. The shower is also a little salty. They give you shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, mosquito repellent, and aloe vera gel. You also has 2 beach towels that could get changed as needed as well in a cute carry bag to get you to the beach. The beach is semi-private and they did their best to clean up the seaweed daily, multiple times a day if needed. Unfortunately the seaweed issue along the entire Riviera Maya is apparent, so you can't really get into the water by the shoreline. This however does not take away the gorgeous views you get at this hotel, by your room, by the restaurant, and on the beach. There were sea turtle nests protected by the staff, and they monitor them nightly to look for hatchlings and protect them to guide them into the water. We couldn't catch any hatching while we stayed! I would of loved to. And I admire how much the staff loves to take care of them as if they were their own. The food, wow! The food was incredible! We had dinner our first night and since I had seen the fresh lobster coming in from the beach, I had to order the grilled lobster! It was amazing!!! The drinks were always delicious as well! And the breakfast was so good! I did not have a bad meal or drink during our stay! We almost didn't want to leave!! I will always stay at this hotel whenever in Tulum. Cabs were always easy to grab right outside the hotel making it very easy to get around.

The price is…read moremore than reasonable, the location is perfect for walking into town, the service is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. My travel companion and I arrived midday on a Monday. The hotel set us up with airport transport, which is necessary as Tulum is 1.5 hours away. We were able to check in immediately and enjoy the pool right outside our garden room. The room had a large canopy bed, dressers, a tv with streaming options, and a large bathroom. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was cleaned daily and the AC and Heat worked wonderfully. The included breakfast was simple but generous: fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries with your choice of juice or coffee. It was a great way to start the day when we went off to adventure in Tulum! The staff was extremely helpful and set us up with cabs whenever we needed them, and were great at giving us suggestions for things to do, see, and eat around town. Tulum town is walkable from the hotel and we never once felt unsafe, even during the two dark and rainy nights we experienced. We had one full beach day and we spent it at the sister resort, Coco Beach Club Tulum. This was EXTREMELY useful because we didn't realize most of the beachfront in Tulum is private, and the public beaches are very busy. If you eat at the restaurant they waive the beach fee and you can stay all day. It was gorgeous! The one area of improvement would be the hotel restaurant. We ate here once and it was one of the less delicious meals of the trip. However, ALL food in town is incredible, so even though it wasn't the best it still wasn't bad. The drinks are tasty but you can find cheaper in the area, and the restaurant and bar close very early. Overall, we loved our experience here and will definitely be back! Please note: I'm a budget traveler on my first trip to Tulum, so I wasn't expecting a five star hotel. I wanted a warm place to rest my head between adventures that wouldn't break the bank and Coco Hacienda more than delivered!

This part will talk about the service and customer retention. To start, the last time we visited the front desk told us to reach out to them via WhatsApp to let them we will be checking back with them and they will add upgrades to our reservation. This time around they did just that. We got an upgraded room and free breakfast. Honestly a nice touch and it definitely will make us come back for a third. The one thing we didn't do when we were here was use there sister hotels amenities. Coco Hacienda is part of Coco Hotel and Coco Limited which are hotels on the tulum beach. To use the amenities you just need to bring a colored towel from the front desk, your room keys from coco hacienda and (it varies) have to order $35-50 worth of food and drinks. Once you check those boxes you can visit and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go. It's beautiful. We used the $35-50 ordering requirement to buy drinks and chill on the beach. We went during 11-12p which wasn't too busy. It was before people checked in so the beach wasn't too busy.

TIP !! Bring bug spray or some bug repellant. we got eaten up. by the end of the trip i prob had over 50 bug bites all over. very very rough!

We needed a quick escape and decided to come to Tulum for a few days…read more We saw a few YouTube videos on Nomade and thought it looked beautiful so decided to stay here. First, let me just say that taxis and parking in tulum are insane. Despite this being a high end resort there is no shuttle for guests and no parking. So you're beholden to leveraging their bikes which you can rent for free between 12-5 daily or the ridiculous taxis waiting outside the entrance. If you do choose to rent a car, parking is street only and this seems ridiculous for a resort. I will note on their website they say they have parking but when we reached out directly to the hotel to inquire about parking (because we were considering renting a car) they explicitly told us it was street parking only. Ok, since we are on the negatives I'll continue by noting that check in isn't until 4pm daily so an early arrival means you can hang out in the public areas but just be aware of that when you dress for an early arrival. The other negatives, our beach access suite (the second most expensive room/suite available) did have its own pool and outdoor seating area but this area only got early morning sun. This made the area not very enjoyable to use for the majority of the day because it was fully enclosed/shaded and the "lounge area" was a couch so not ideal for lounging. Additionally, we saw a few crawly uninvited guests in our room. Ants in our toilet room and then a rather large cockroach on our sink/vanity area. With the indoor/outdoor nature vibe of this resort these guests I'm sure are a common nuisance but definitely not what you'd expect for $1000/night. The area of the resort is very intricate and maze like and while this weaving of the jungle/beach is a vibe it for sure it is not accessible to anyone with mobility issues. One of the main dining areas also offered primarily low/backless seating so again, not the best for comfort or accessibility. We also had power outages our last night - this definitely made the room pretty humid and difficult to sleep in (but the storm was great to listen to and watch). For a place like this and a per night rate as high as they charge, they should have dependable generators. Also, not necessarily a negative but important to note, there are no TVs in any of the rooms, so bring a few great books and indulge in the activities and conversations with your fellow guests. The resort does have great beach accessibility with plenty of loungers for guests. But the area also had a LOT of people walking around during the day selling various items. This definitely made it feel less like a private beach and more just like a public one which was again, disappointing. The last negative I will give for this place is we did meet up with friends who live in Tulum and who came over to join us for a lounge-y day and despite again, having one of the most expensive per night suites they did try to charge us for their "day passes". Thankfully, they said they'd make an exception which honestly, shouldn't even be a discussion given the room cost and the fact that we ordered food and drink throughout the day and had it charged to the room. So now for some highlights - as the YouTube and instareel highlights will showcase the resort itself is very "vibey". The suite we stayed in was nicely appointed and did have lots of big spacious windows providing great sea views and sounds. The bed was very comfy and big - plus the room came with a separate large seating lounge area. The pool and water feature was beautiful but again because it was shaded for the majority of the day the water remained pretty crisp. Another positive is there are daily activities you can sign up for and experience - including various yoga, sound bathing, and a really cool bonfire and stargazing. The main eating area also had live DJs and music on the nights we stayed and that was great to have available. The food was really tasty albeit very tourist priced. We enjoyed snacks on the beach (the tuna tartar and guacamole were both super fresh and delicious) and dinner at Mercado the first night (taboule salad and a great Mediterranean take on a taco). Both of these dishes were tasty and big enough to share. Our booking did include a daily breakfast but ordering more than one coffee resulted in a charge and that seems pretty petty when the cost per night is over $1000usd. It's also important to note that if you have an early check out, and pay for the breakfast, your option on your departure date is a sad boxed "lunch". This again, is wildly unacceptable for the cost. Guests leaving early should be able to place a breakfast order to go the night before their departure and not just be given a sad, tasteless boxed option. All in all, it was a great getaway for us because we were able to switch off but we'd not recommend this as a place that's worth its nightly rate. If we come back to Tulum we will for sure look for different accommodations.
