I've been recommended to try Hotlanta Wings and this is my new fave wing spot. I'd also say they have the best wings on the southside. I loved the drive thru component because I didn't have to get out of the car for wings. We also got our food SO fast. The wings and fries were hot and fresh out of the grease. I've been here several times and stopped by today for the hot lemon pepper wings and a Philly Cheesesteak. The Philly was just as good as the other ones I have ordered, but the taste of the wings were a little bit off. I don't know if they changed the seasoning or what, but they didn't taste as good as the ones I have had in the past. I love the size of their wings though. i'm from Florida and I was told that this was a nice place to go to so I went there this morning and I got four orders of wings and fries and it was so good and I was telling my family so we went back to get more, wanted hard and some jalapeño poppers because I asked the cashier at the window to repeat the order back to he denied me service. I kept telling him I wanted them fried hard. I am so pissed and my feelings are hurt. Yes, I'm writing a review because they have bad manager walked around with short zone flip-flops. The employees are rude when they talk to you through the speaker if I had a number to talk to a manager besides the one that was allowing his cashier to talk to his I don't talk to him. I talk to the big boss the company needs to know who's working for them and they also need to know that the always I've never been denied also in the front of me and behind me, but you tell me we don't have any wings. Been hearing a lot about this place via social media comment sections, so I decided to give it a try. I'm surprised about the lower ratings in here versus Google, so it felt like I was taking a chance. Cons: Portion Size. I asked for a large fries and I had no way of knowing if what I got was indeed a large because they just put it in the same box as your wings. Call me greedy, but there didn't seem to be abundance of them which made me think I was gypped a few fries. I let them know they could leave the carrot sticks out and while I didn't expect there to be extra celery, there were only 3 measly sticks!!! C'mon man. The wings themselves were itty-bitty ones. Not the hearty wings of a plump chicken. Also the ranch they give you has a weird taste. Pros: Service. Very nice staff, very quick. Also, I appreciate a wing place with a drive-thru. Like...seriously. Price: Maybe this is why the portions are lacking. I don't know of ANY other place in my area I can get an 8 piece with fries for $11. This is a big plus. Taste: Hands down, 10/10. Fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. So many places over-salt their fries and wings thinking it will make them taste better and end up ruining the meal and my blood pressure. The lemon pepper wings, again, were seasoned perfectly. There was a sweet-ish aftertaste that was surprising, but enjoyable. And the tiny lil baby wings were cooked to perfection. A nice crunch exterior with a still juicy interior. Aside from the portions, this place is great! And it's not like I was still hungry afterwards. Arguably one of the best wing spots I've ever had. Came down from NYC to visit a friend and was recommended this spot from one of his friends. Goddamn that lemon pepper was 11/10. I came through the drive thru , I ordered a kids wing, and 20 other wings ... the we're all small and then they only gave me three wings for my kids meal when I came in question him about it he intern told me that I should've asked before and I said maybe your cashier should've told me that this meal that I was paying all this money for only came with three wings. Can I have a refund for my entire order, he said no I will only refund you for the small order. I will not refund the big order I feel as small businesses it is your responsibility to look after your customers. I will never frequent here again because paying seven dollars for three chicken wings is outrageous, and the fact that I asked for my money to be returned, after I had just received the food and never touched it, and he proceeded to argue with me instead that this is not a great establishment for the community because they are not for the community. I ordered a 20 pc combo that came with a drink and fries and then got a philly sandwich. Total was $25. I split the wings half Extra hot and half lemon pepper. Taste was good to me. Fries were super fresh and crispy. Philly was also good and Hubby liked it. I was nervous about the exterior appearance but their health score was a 95 which is also a plus for me. So I have patronized this place many times before. They seem to be always consistent with Quality of the food and service. I only order the chicken philly when I do go. Honesty I can't compare it to any others, because it's the only place I go to get it. It's season well and very tasty.
