I was unfortunately underwhelmed with the food. Had the garlic parm turkey leg which was overly charred which made the bark extremely bitter . In addition, it was dry, chewy and way too salty. I did not taste any garlic or parmesean. For the sides, I had the baked beans which were ok as well as the green beans (a bit better). The muffins were dry & the cinnamon was more prevalent than the sweet potato flavor. Lastly, ferl free to skip the pineapple frozen drink. Opt for the regular lemonade. Not a good first time experience but I will try them again for a shot at the wings in another flavor. Not too soon though. All in all, with the purchase of the hotdogs, my bill was $63.80 (15% tip included. I can count many places to spend that type of money for a much more satisfying meal. Good customer service though.

A friend had been eyeing Turkey on the Loose on social media, so we gave it a shot. The sides, dirty rice and green beans, were great... but the Turkey leg was just ok to me. I had the sweet heat. I liked the sauce, but the actual meat didn't really have any flavor. I didn't gather any seasoning or that good smoked taste. It was tender though. Lemonade was cool... very sweet. It's a takeout spot, but there is one high boy table with two chairs inside. Service - No issues. The wait actually wasn't very long at all for us. We were there on a weekday after work, so it wasn't very busy at all. Overall: It's worth a try.

Cute spot with updated inside decor. Room inside for one high top table to eat in. Cashier was friendly and food was delivered quickly. I decided to try the original. The meat was tender and smoky. I would definitely go back and try other seasonings. *Restaurant closes from 3-4 PM daily.

Turkey on the loose is so bomb !! I got the sweet heat turkey leg combo , the turkey leg was huge cooked all the way through and it was tender and juicy and piping hot! I enjoyed the sweet tea slushy also and the customer service was A1. I was surprised the sides were good but I got the baked beans and corn and they were both really good. I can't wait to come back and try the turkey wings and turkey ribs! This is a black business that I will support again !

This was my first time visiting. The lady in the front was very helpful. I feel like the prices are way too high but I just wanted to try it. I had to try the pineapple tea which I can say was pretty good and not so sweet. My husband had the lemonade and it was sugar diabetes. The turkey legs weren't that bad but I think they should have injected the legs with the flavor that you choose for the outside. But anyway go try for yourself and enjoy. I'm glad I got to try just because of all the hype on IG.

The FOOD meets the hype! I order through the Yelp and it was delivered swiftly. I got the jammin jerk and excited to try the sweet heat.

No seasoning on Turkey leg it tasted overcooked. The rice was hard and bland, the bake bean tasted like the can beans, the tea was pineapple juice from the can nothing unique. For the money spent ($65.00) this was a bust. It was like all the food was already prepared days before and warmed up for sale! Nothing fresh about the food. Look at photos, yall be the judges d We will not be returning.

The turkey legs are so good, seasoned, & juicy. Add a corn & some beans on the side, & you've got a Very tasty dish.

As we were walking through we wanted seeded yellow watermelon. As we're standing at the booth another gentleman walked up to help us and said that he had some. He told us to drive up and over to his booth. Great gentleman and really appreciated talking with him. His name is Walter and gave us a good deal on the watermelons. We ended up leaving with 5 of them. Two yellow, three red ones and they were very good. We'll definitely be going back for vegetables and possibly some plants, as they had a nice variety of those as well.

We went on a Saturday afternoon (the market closes at 3 PM), and strangely, it felt empty. There's no public restroom. If you need to go, your best bet is to find a nearby restaurant and buy something to use their bathroom. If you choose to walk, be prepared for strong smells and scattered trash. There's a plant nursery tucked away in the back with beautiful flowers, but unless your car is right there, good luck carrying a big pot back. That being said, the produce is fresh, local, and often better in price and quality than what you'll find in the supermarket and other grocery stores. You might find tropical fruits and vegetables not found anywhere else.

La Unica offers small tacos (more on that in a second), burritos, tortas, and the usual fare. Just looking for a quick afternoon snack, I opted for two of their small tacos which come on corn tortillas that are about half the size of standard corn tortillas. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, and the tacos were piled high and delicious. If you're particularly hungry I would suggest getting 3-4 of them though. I went with my usual standbys and ordered one taco each of carne asada and carnitas. The carnitas were a little greasy but still very satisfying as was the carne asada. The star of the show, however, is their red casera style hot sauce. This stuff will light you up and is exploding with the rich flavors of dried chilies which really come into their own once they blend with the flavors of your food. A teaspoon or two on your taco and you're in business!
