First of all !!!! This hit all the right spots!!! I got the black bean burger and it's hard to find a non meat option. I tried to stop eating it so excuse the lack thereof. Service was good, the lady was kind!

This was our first time going to Mikie's because I was in the area and I will say It did "NOT" Disappoint. The burgers were huge and at a great price. DEFINITELY!! !!!! worth the drive to try it out. I had the 1lb turkey burger combo which came with fries and a drink. I give this place 10/10 on the taste menu. I will be going back for sure whenever, I'm in the McDonough area again.

I called and Emily said I got it!! I called back and told Owner to give $10 to Emily and he blessed me with a free meal ! Now that's great Customer Service!

Very disappointed, they use to be good but my last visit was HORRIBLE... When I use to visit this restaurant the burger was always good and they use always give me a bunch of end fries.. I confronted them on it and the women said o that's because it's the end of the day... That is not a reason because I would go there at 3pm... What a dumb reason, maybe they should be honest and say that before people make purchase. If that's the case she should change the price.

Was recommended to us by our hotel as we were looking for a good burger. Sorry but not a fan. Burger had little flavor as tasted more like a piece of meatloaf although formed into a partial patty. Seemed like there were fillers in the meat and also the "half pound" burger did not seem that large as it barely fit the bun. We had to take our tomatoes off as they were hard end that were still green. The best part about these meals were the fries. In this case #stevensleavin

Hands down the best local burger I've had in McDonough! Golden Grill serves up that classic,…read moreno-fuss burger flavor that takes you straight back to an old-school diner but better. The burger was seasoned perfectly, juicy, and cooked just right. GG's sauce? A game changer. Tangy, savory, and just the right kick it ties the whole thing together. The fries were golden and crispy perfection, and the wings? Crunchy outside, flavorful inside, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning. It's clear they care about their food and their customers. If you see the Golden Grill truck, don't pass it up this is comfort food done right. Service was quick and efficient.

**This is for their second food truck located in the BP gas station parking lot off exit-201**…read more My notes on this place are on the picky side, on the boarder of personal tastes...because they are putting in the effort of kicking out some good food. Everything that came out was freshly fried and made with well maintained toppings/ingredients. So no complaints at all there. Burgers-My only note would be to season the meat with some burger seasoning once it's on the flat top. The bun is perfect, the veg is cold, the sauces are saucy and you take a bit of it all looking for the juicy flavorful combo but the meat just misses that mark. It doesn't need much...just a little shake of seasoning to round it all out. Mozza sticks and mac&cheese bits...have no notes, they were fried to order and came out screamin' hot...dipped in GGs sauce or the White Sauce was perfect. Sauces- GG sauce is a mayo, sriracha and sweet chili sauce mix...there may be other things in it too, but those are the top 3. White Sauce is their take on an Alabama white sauce...but this one is less vinegar and more creamy because of the mayo. Little bit of heat, but not what I would call spicy. I-75 Loaded fries...were loaded up! How the fries managed to stay crispy for as long as they did-with all the cheese and sauce defies logic. The jalapeños make this dish on the hotter side, so if you don't like heat...you should order it without them-because they don't skimp on them. Honestly this could have done without the hot Cheetos-they didn't really add to it other than color and they got mushy quick. We also got the beefy/steak rice bowl, but it was for my husband's meal prep the next day. It wouldn't be fair to review based on him eating it a day later...so I'm going to leave that review out. We did see several people ordering it while we waited...so I'm thinking it's a favorite. It's a food truck-not fast food so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for our order. The crew working it were all nice and our food was well packaged so we suffered zero losses. We will be stopping by and trying all their chicken options for our next round!

If you love beer, then you will experience a very long list of various beers and I like that's it's broken down by variety and flavor. This was our first time here so I'm not sure if it was normal but even though it wasn't really busy, service was slow. Our waitress was really friendly but she was working both inside and outside so we did have to wait around a while for our check. My kid liked her cheesy bread with a side of cheese sauce...what else is there in life that's better than carbs and cheese. I don't normally write reviews because I usually overlook minor issues. Mistakes happen, especially…read moreduring busy times. What matters most to me is how they're handled. A sincere apology and a willingness to make things right usually ends the conversation. Unfortunately, this experience deserves a "PLEASE BEWARE." When we arrived, we were greeted promptly, and the host seated us at a high-top table near the bar. We asked if we could move to another table, and he accommodated us without hesitation, which we appreciated. However, the new table had just been wiped down and was still soaking wet--so wet that our cloth napkins became damp from sitting on it. We had to ask someone to come dry the table before we could settle in. When it was time to order, we learned that several menu items were unavailable. Over a holiday weekend, that's understandable. What wasn't understandable was our server's response. Instead of simply apologizing, he became defensive, explaining that it was the Fourth of July, they had been busy, and one of the unavailable items was one of their staples. His tone came across as if we were inconveniencing him by asking a reasonable question. Sensing the interaction was heading in the wrong direction, I asked for his name and thanked him in an effort to ease the tension. When our food arrived, one of the side dishes was incorrect. We informed the food runner, who immediately apologized and brought the correct item. That's exactly how customer service should work--acknowledge the mistake, apologize, and fix it. No issue there. After we finished eating, our server cleared only one tray from the table, leaving the other. He then brought the check, but half of the receipt was wet. At that point, we just looked at each other. It was another example of poor attention to detail. Another employee walked by, and we asked if we paid at the register. She offered to take the payment herself, which we appreciated. By then, all we wanted to do was pay and leave. As she took the check & card for payment, she asked how everything was. We hesitated and simply said, "It was okay." She asked again and once again; We hesitated and simply said, "It was okay." She asked yet again and said that if there was a problem, she was the person to tell. Based on her tone and body language, however, it felt more confrontational than welcoming. The person paying explained our concerns: Several menu items were unavailable. One side dish came out incorrectly. The receipt was delivered soaking wet. Unfortunately, every concern was met with an excuse rather than an apology. For the unavailable menu items, we were told they had been busy and there were other things on the menu. For the incorrect side, the response was that the kitchen was busy and they could have just swapped it. For the wet receipt, we were told it could have gotten wet in the back or from the table, followed by, "Do you want us to print another one?" At no point did we receive a genuine, "I'm sorry." That's what made this experience so disappointing. Every issue by itself was minor. The problem wasn't the mistakes--it was the dismissive attitude and complete lack of accountability. Customer service isn't about never making mistakes; it's about how you respond when they happen. If you're going to encourage customers to share their concerns, be prepared to actually listen instead of becoming defensive. We could have quietly paid our bill and left. Instead, the interaction convinced me to write this review because the service felt dismissive, unapologetic, and unprofessional--especially if the person responding to our concerns was, in fact, the manager.

I was planning to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a party of eight and called ahead to ask about seating. I was told that reservations were not typically required. When I asked about the larger table in the back, I was informed that reservations could be made for that specific table, but they needed to be requested a week in advance. Since the birthday was only a few days away, that wasn't an option. The person I spoke with encouraged me to come in anyway, explaining that Sundays around 3:00 p.m. were usually not busy. I stopped by around 2:00 p.m. to inquire in person. After contacting the owner, the staff member informed me that I could reserve the table by emailing the owner and paying a $50 fee. What was frustrating was that the restaurant was completely empty at the time. It was difficult to understand why we would need to pay an additional fee simply to sit together and spend money at the restaurant, especially when the larger table was the only one that could accommodate our group. The most disappointing part was having to take our celebration elsewhere. I also felt bad for the server, who appeared to have very few customers and lost the opportunity to earn a gratuity from our party.
