Can't trust these guys, DON'T shop here. These guys are thieves. Said they were taking $150 as a down payment on phone purchase. Found out when I received my first bill from Verizon that Nothing was taken off. At the time of purchase they covered their tracks by saying that their printer was broken so they couldn't give me a receipt and that they would just email it to me, they didn't. read more

The people that work here are disgusting and dishonest, especially the manager Jay. I was hung up on multiple times (saying they lost service at a phone store lol). The number is also a cell phone with no set up voicemail. They deserve 0 stars and I will make sure no one in that area will EVER go there. I will be reporting them as well. All I wanted was my grandmother's cell phone back and they cannot do that for some reason. I heard about 5 different stories from them. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT GO HERE, go to any other store instead! Waste of time, energy, and frustration. When my screen broke and I went here, one of their staff members misled me repeatedly to sell me a more expensive new phone and then made everything as difficult as possible. First, he gave me a really vague estimate for how much and how long it'd take to fix my phone. When I pressed for real prices and dates, he finally said it'd take 5-7 business days (I later found a place at WeFixPhonesNY.com that did it in an hour!). He pushed me instead to get a new phone with a promotion for a free tablet. He didn't tell me that the new "free" tablet he was using to convince me to buy the new phone would soon have monthly charges of $47 (I noticed that later). I still wasn't sure, but it seemed like the new data plan and free tablet were the better deal. I handed him my credit card, but I clearly had not decided: I was still asking him questions and was audibly discussing with my boyfriend whether I should get the new phone or just fix the old one. We were also discussing how to get my photos off the old phone. The guy kept telling me that all my photos would transfer even when I kept telling him that it had run out of space and hadn't been backing up for months. He disagreed with me and kept saying it would because it was all on Google Cloud, nothing is saved on the phones anymore -- but I was telling him it was and he wasn't listening or being helpful. My boyfriend and I tried to figure out which of my information was synced on the cloud, and it turned out that the guy had meant Verizon Cloud, not Google, so we weren't even looking in the right place. Finally I said, I think I just want to get my old phone fixed. The guy said, it's too late, it's already charged for the new phone, you just have to sign here. (Meanwhile, his coworker was standing next to him, shouting into a landline about his personal accounts, telling someone he had been with their company for 12 years and had 5 lines and would go to the AT&T across the street if they couldn't help him, and that he was going to give them a terrible review.) It was Christmas Eve, and I just wanted to get home to my family and away from this confusing situation, so I decided to sign and just adjust to the new phone. Then the guy charged me another $90-something that he said was for the taxes but hadn't mentioned until then, and only gave me a receipt for the taxes but not the first amount paid for the new phone. THEN when I was leaving, the guy said, "You're going to get a text message now on your new phone, just reply Y to confirm that your new phone is activated." I looked at the text, and it said that replying Y would opt me in to the store's promotional text messages and data charges could apply. I told him this, and he said no it isn't! I said "but that's what it says right here," and he still disagreed with me, so I just walked out. Later, I realized he had never given me a receipt for the new phone, only for the taxes paid, so I went back for one (the day after Christmas). He first acted apologetic and gave me a receipt but it was still just for the tax amount, but nothing for the new phone. He said that would be e-mailed to the e-mail address on file for the account. I said I hadn't gotten anything, so he looked and said there's no e-mail address so there isn't one. I said there can't just be no receipt! So he looked again and found an e-mail address in the account and said one would be e-mailed. It never was, but looking for it prompted me to log into my account and see that the tablet that was supposedly "free" would soon have monthly data charges of $47 that he never mentioned when convincing me that it made the new phone deal better. I then went and got my old phone fixed on Old Country Road at a great place that took only an hour! And when I went to return the old one to this guy, he said I couldn't be refunded the charge for the new phone because it was only to pay off my old phone. I said that wasn't what he told me; he said it was a price for the new phone. Both my boyfriend and I had heard him say it; never did he explain anything about paying off the old phone. Then he wanted to charge me a $35 restocking fee for the phone (fine, I've heard of that) and $70 to restock the previously-free tablet. There was no way I was paying him $70 to bring an unopened tablet to the back room when I hadn't wanted it to begin with. He tried to tell me that because it was listed on the receipt I was liable for it, but it was only explained on the receipt I had gotten TWO DAYS LATER when I came back. I argued and he got rid of the charge, which I'd say was nice except that it was such an absurd charge. Instead of dealing with these jerks, go to NyCom on Hempstead Turnpike for Verizon services, and if you have a broken phone, go to We Fix Phones on Old Country Road (wefixphonesny.com; they do repairs themselves, unlike these guys). read more

I was hoping Avi was working when I had to go in but he was off so I was a little hesitant to stay..(i kinda had no choice because I was going away and desperately needed a new phone with a good camera - I was working with an iP4s ...lol) There were a couple of people working there that I never seen before - anyways Angela ended helping me with upgrading and getting a case for my iP6 (which btw- i am obsessed with- the pics are AMAZE!) and she was just as nice! She was super honest and it worked out perfectly fine! I definetly DEFINIELTY recommend this verizon store! :) read more

If they weren't such money grubbers in there, I could have written a better review. I purchased a new phone at a different location. Some of my music was not switched over, when they transferred the data. I called Verizon and was told to bring it to any authorized dealer and there would not be a charge. When I brought in the phone here, they wanted to charge me $20! Even after I told them what Verizon said, they wouldn't budge. So I took it elsewhere, where they did it for me. It took all of 3 minutes to do, and they didn't charge me. I made very sure to let them know, as well as the other customers in that store my experience. It took $20 to lose a customer.
