My 12-year-old computer would not turn on so uBreakiFix was recommended to me by a friend. Since they were local to me I brought my computer there to repair. They diagnosted it to be a bad mother board and processor. I told them to go ahead with the repair. They ordered the parts, and it was a couple of weeks, and the parts never came so Asad had some time, and he repaired the motherboard by replacing some components which he tested to be bad. Identifing and replacing components is a difficult task, I know because I have been in IT most of my career. So kudos to Asad. He was very patient and never gave up on my repair and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend uBreakiFix for all repairs. Now I know where to bring my devices if needed. read more

Broken screen is the worst when you weren't expecting gravity to have a pissed off day and decided to pull everything down. Called ahead to see if they would fix my cellphone and if they had the parts in stock before I went in, they had the last screen for my phone, drove over asap. Dropped off phone and left. Got a call around 2 or so hours later and the phone was good as new. 5 star for service, but one star down cause when I went to pick up my phone, the person helping me forgot to put a mask on. Overall would still come here to have phones fixed when gravity pulls things down. read more

I took my daughters iPad here, the screen was cracked she spilled water on it. They took it, and their website says specializes in water repair and cracked screens. They didn't fix the iPad. They changed her screen, and said they did everything they could do to fix it. I should've paid the $250 apple was charging to fix it instead of coming to them. I def wouldn't have to come out of pocket for a new iPad. FYI: I didn't pay them because they didn't fix it. read more

CHECK THE PRICE! They quoted $70 more than Garden City location. I completed all the information required on their website. The website led me to believe you could replace the cracked screen on my Ipad in 1 hour. I made an appointment and drove 1/2 hour to the Garden City store. When I got there I got the feeling I was disturbing the person. He asked why I was there, I told him my name and said I made an appointment. I showed him my Ipad (which has a keyboard that he could not figure out) and put it back on incorrectly. He told me it takes 2-3 days to fix and the cost was $239. I told him that the website says 1 hour and I was hoping to get it done the same day. He said it takes 2-3 days. I told him I guess I didn't have a choice and I would leave it. He said he had to check to see if he had the part. He went in back and told me it takes 8 days to get the part and 2-3 days to fix it. I was upset and told him I could not understand why you would waste my time asking me to complete all the information and then schedule an appointment when he could not fix it any time soon. He shrugged his shoulders. No apology, no explanation. To add insult to injury, I went to my car and called your New Hyde Park store to find out if they had the part. That location told me they had to order the part and the cost was $299. I told him I was in front of the Garden City store and they just quoted me $239. He said in my store it is $299. read more

I took my laptop to the New Hyde park location to get an estimate to have my screen repaired. The rep gave me a verbal estimate but refused to give me a written estimate. I stated that it's just an estimate but he refused to write down. I needed a written estimate so I would be reimbursed thru insurance. So when they advertise Free Estimate, I suggest you beware. These guys are the REAL DEAL! I label myself extremely responsible and in my 30+ years of owning a cell phone I have NEVER needed repair until today when I slipped on ice and fell with my phone (Galaxy S10) in hand needing a new screen. I looked around and didn't want to just take it to any old chop shop considering there is a lot of sensitive information on these devices and I wanted it done right the 1st time! I also didn't want to wait too long for it either...I gave these guys a call and they told me they have the screen in stock and could have it done within 2 hours! What the heck,..I dropped it off and the young man was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He told me exactly what he was going to do, and assured me it would be fixed properly and retain the water proofing. He also mentioned that they are an authorized SAMSUNG repair center which made me feel very comfortable. I came back to pick up my device precisely at 1 pm when they said they were going to be done and wouldn't you know it...DONE! It looked like a brand new phone and operates perfectly! Im still stunned because most of the time people over promise and under deliver...This was quite the opposite! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UBREAKIFIX TO HAVE ANY REPAIRS DONE ON YOUR CELL PHONE!
