Trophy is also a very good gym, this location is just the right size, is clean, and has good equipment. The staff are friendly and professional - Greyson, john, Gina, and the entire staff is friendly and warm. When I need help they are responsive. I've been to many gyms/trainers, from Los Angeles Equinox, to San Antonio Golds Gym, and Houston 24 hour fitness, but Trophy has really honed in on what makes a gym great and has fair pricing. It consists of one gym room with equipments with some workout rooms such as yoga class room, an indoor pool, and separate men and women dressing rooms. I would say if it wasn't for the robo massage service I probably wouldn't choose this gym location as my first option for a place to work out as there are far bigger and better gyms with more quality workout equipments.

The one I switched to has easier parking, easier 24 hour access, much more open space inside the gym, more machines, less oppressive music, for one tenth (1/10) the cost. Because of these factors (not easy to park, not easy to get 24 hour access, cramped space, minimal machines, heavy loud music, very wimpy infraed sauna, and very high cost) I cannot recommend Paradigm Gym.

I appreciated that when I arrived, I mentioned it was my first time in the gym and offered a very short, quick tour (less than ~3 minutes, which I very much appreciate as a lot of gyms spend too long with the tour and try hard to sell the place before you've even tried the equipment). The gym is solid with diversity in selection of equipment. I saw four power racks which is impressive for a gym of this size in the Uptown Dallas area (for reference, LA Fitness in Uptown is at least 5x the size and only has two racks), but only saw one bench with a rack for bench press. The person who toured me also mentioned it's do whatever you like, so I assume they are flexible in what you use and how. Only thing to note/consider is the gym is fairly small. Although it's well set up and has good equipment, I went at 1pm on a Friday and all four racks were utilized so would be concerned going at prime times. Overall it was a good experience, I'll be looking forward to returning when need another gym or want the specialized equipment.

You can do training with him or workout on your own. Covered parking is under the building (pic included) and you can access the gym pretty much any time with a key FOB (pic also included). There's a fair amount of cardio equipment, weights (free & machine), kettle bells, etc. There are also 2 showers with restrooms so you can clean up if you're heading back to work. Not a typical chain gym and usually not very crowded, so I love it being close to my office.

Don't drop the equipment or use Super heavy weights because one of the Staff members will ask you to not disturb the spa next-door. The music sounds depressing and it's played through an intercom system. But it's the only full gym on the side of town. It closes a little too early. You are sharing with Hotel guest. That may not know what they're doing. So I only maybe recommend it. The few positives include: You can probably find the equipment you're looking for. It's not overly crowded, unless there's a convention of annoying people in town like yesterday. They keep it clean. Generally, I feel it's overpriced for the value. But again, it's the only one on the side of town So get a tour and figure out if it's for you.

It took me about a month to get enough response back from the manager to join. Once I joined I emailed several logistical follow up questions and have never received a response. As far as I know there is no email newsletter or online schedules. I went to one class so far and there was no one attending, I arrived right at the class time and the teacher was packing up because no one was there. Like I said, from an equipment standpoint, there is everything you need, it is not the top of the line, but everything seems pretty well-maintained and in working order. Access to the hotel pools is also a plus. But it does not feel friendly at all, you are kind of left alone to figure things out. I came from very communal gym membership environments so it is quite a change.
