It's a great mix of aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Every day is a full body workout. The types of exercises change every day. So it's always fun and interesting. You get out what you put in, but the system and staff are very good at encouraging you to give it your all. I used to weigh well over 400 pounds and I've lost over 200 pounds since then. 9Round is a huge part of what helped me turn my life around. I've been to a few different locations. They are all good, but this one stands a cut above the rest. It's bigger than any other I've seen. There are monitors at every station that have videos that show visually what the proper form for the daily exercises should look like. The owners and staff are all extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you to become the best version of yourself that you can be. The facility is always not just clean, but spotless. They take their work and their responsibility to their clientele extremely seriously and are always open to feedback and looking for ways to improve. They also go out of their way to get to know you as a person and to make you feel welcome and valued. It feels like you're a part of a family. I couldn't ask for more and it's worth every penny and then some.

No one explained to me or my husband that we needed to be at Orange Theory exactly at 6pm. This was our first time ever going to orange theory and will now be my last. The website does say "we ask that you arrive 30 min" in advance but doesn't say it's mandatory which in my case I rushed from work to try and make the 6:25p class to then be denied. I understand getting to the classes early is for the the respect of the gym and others but I was very new and had no idea a 6pm arrival time was mandatory. I wish I was able to do the class and hear the sales pitch later. Very sad and disappointed. I've done hiit style training before and have seen gyms take people immediately to try the free classes without any issue. Really think the employees should tell customers to arrive at a mandatory time vs "asking" that they arrive at a certain time. All in all, I didn't get to try but there's 2 locations and I suggest getting there early to avoid the situation I encountered.

Cons: as founding members we thought we would be taken care of during price hikes. Dead wrong. We never got to see things promised like a protein shake shop, founding members wall, etc. Another con was the lap pool. Not heated and always too many kids to do anything. Upstairs half the time had too many classes, so you didn't really get to use the equipment anyway. Spa/rox extra, nothing good included in the price that you're paying which is just over a two hundred a month now for 2 people. We really didn't want to leave but it is clear that groups, groups of younger guys in crocs/socs, kids at the lap pool It seems they want to lure new meat in instead of taking care of the members that signed up prior to their opening. Not a single callback or communication from them since canceling.

So I recently started a free 2 week trial with Class Pass and saw F45 as one of the gyms available to try out... so I decided to stop by the Lake Nona location for a quick workout. This F45 is located within a strip mall and had a decent amount of parking available around the gym. Upon entering, I was greeted almost immediately and checked in. This spot is pretty spacious and very well lit. The gym is broken up into separate stations with each station having a clear view of the tv which displays the workout needing to be completed. The trainers Leo and Leah were fantastic! They definitely helped with putting me at ease... since it was my first class and all. They did a quick demo of each workout and they also placed me in the same stations as one of the regulars so that they could help me if needed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed F45! I like the fact that it's a 45 min session each time...and you truly feel accomplished by the end of the work out. I attended a 3-peat class involving 3 repeats of 10 stations that involved a variety of movements and equipment. The high intensity intervals really work your entire body and get your heart pumping at its limit. Lindsey and Nyna were amazing coaches, and since it was my first time, they provided plenty of encouragement and suggestions for alternative ways to do the activities. It was definitely a challenge, especially for someone like me who only runs and has no arm strength. But I left in a bright mood (from all the endorphins and adrenaline) and knowing I'd become stronger. Apparently the class I took only happens around once a month. They usually have cardio classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and weights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The facility and equipment were very clean and finding parking was easy. The pricing is not pretty but is as expected for many serious gyms in Lake Nona. It's $65 for two classes every 2 weeks or $180 every 2 weeks for unlimited classes.

Christen was phenomenal and paid attention to everyone even though it was 6:15am on a Monday! She emphasized form, provided modified exercises, and also shared her experience on training as a runner. The class was a mix of resistance training and endurance with 3 main stations of rowing, weights, and treadmills. The equipment and weights were all very clean and worked well, especially the treadmills which were amazingly smooth to run on and easy on my knees. They also give everyone a neat arm band technology during the class that provides detailed health information. I found the info to be helpful to look at both during and after the class (they emailed it to me) to gauge my level of exertion. The only thing stopping me from immediately starting a membership is the price--$180 per month which at least includes unlimited classes. They also have a $120/month option of 8 classes a month. Keep in mind if you try out the first class, they require you to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand to familiarize yourself with the equipment and space, if you're not early enough you will have to reschedule. Also, since this location is right across from the high school, be mindful of the traffic in the morning! Plenty of parking was available.

I had surgery the past few months so I haven't been very active (not like I was much more active before) but they're beginner friendly! The band technology they have will track your score and heartbeat so you can see what percentage of your body you're working on. I think it's a really neat system and I definitely want to come back here. Currently I don't go workout often enough for the membership to 'work out' for me.

It was packed on an early Friday afternoon. The gym members were of diverse age and ethnicity. Everyone seemed to be going hard on their work out session, which was motivating. The equipments seemed to be well maintained and cleanly kept. I was able to use all the equipments eventually, though I had to ask and wait a while for some. But while I waited I used other equipments so it worked out in the end. I would recommend this place to others and will be back again in the future. There are lots of other interesting stores you can check out after your work out session. The only improvement I can see being made is the smell of the place when you enter.
