I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it, every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!

Last year when I heard that the oh-so-awesome megaformer workout was coming to the main line via…read morethis new studio named Plank, I signed up right away! And then I was hooked. The workout was incredible and gave me more strength and definition (in 3 classes/week) than barre classes ever did (in 5-6 classes/week). And it was a perfect compliment to my first half-marathon training. Megaformer classes gave me a lot of strength and power when running and that extra strength even helped take the pressure off my back, allowing me to run 13 miles without back pain (vs. the pain I had when training for a 5 mile race a few years ago before I was in megaformer shape). Hilary and her instructors are all welcoming and personable and I really recommend the studio and the workout to anyone in the area. There is nothing else close to megaformer in my opinion. A really intense and effective workout!

This studio has really gone downhill…read more I've taken over 50 classes here, so I'm not someone who is leaving a review after one bad experience. Unfortunately, there are only a couple of teachers left that I really enjoy, and the studio just doesn't seem to be managed well anymore. The final straw was being charged $210 on June 15 without my permission. I never asked to buy more credits, and no credits were even added to my account. I've been calling every few days for almost a month, and while the girls at the front desk have always been friendly and apologetic, they say they can't do anything without the manager. The manager has known about this for weeks and still hasn't returned a single phone call. Mistakes happen--I get that. But completely ignoring a loyal customer who has supported your business for years is not okay. Buyer beware. If something goes wrong with your account, don't expect anyone in management to call you back or make it right
