I soon found out that Dean is a personal stylist there and he does a fantastic job connecting with people and helping them find the perfect pair of glasses. You can really tell he enjoys his job! The African American woman, hands down love her! She's down to earth, funny, personable, and also connects to customers very well. The manager, shes lovely and very welcoming too. The only odd ball of the group is Alan, one of the opticians. He's one of those "one of these things is not like the other". They sat me down with him so he could input my info, and it was like talking to an automation machine. To be honest, it doesn't seem like he fits with the culture there. I'm asking him questions about what my vision insurance covers and he's giving non detailed answers and kept asking if I wanted to finalize and purchase. Almost like he didn't want to be there and trying to end the conversation. Major turn off. I was so happy when I walked away from his table. Nobody wants to deal with that negative space. They took a whole month to get my glasses because they lost my prescription. Then when they made my glasses, I have had problems with them ever since. I have had them adjusted many times, but they just don't seem right. Their 45 day return policy is garbage. After the 45 days, they offer a full price exam and a 70/30 split. Which .means you might as well go get glasses someplace else if you want a good pair.

When my wife went to America's Best in Canton MI and asked if they could put her glasses back together; my wife was told the glasses were more than a year old and America's Best would not fix the glasses. Thinking that this sounded odd my wife went back a second time several days later to a different person and was told the same thing. They will not fix her pair of glasses because the glasses are over a year old but she could buy a new pair of glasses.

After I got my eye exam, I went over to the store area to purchase my glasses. It went pretty smoothly and good with associate Ashley. But there was no effort to help with the style and if they would work for me and on my face frame, which is very important when you get glasses. It was a very fast process. Pick what you want, pay and get out. I would have appreciated her to say these glasses are heavy, the nose bridge is low etc... and after talking with other people that have been trained with LensCrafters Corp they should have mentioned those factors before purchasing. When I went to pick up my glasses, the girl Ashley didn't even remember who I was and was calling a wrong phone number to let me know they were in. Luckily I called. When I finally got the glasses, both were a complete misfit and left red marks all over my nose from the pressure and had to take them back because of that. But before I took them back I went in for a readjustment with the Saturday tired crew. Even with the "so-called" readjustment they were both (sunglasses and reg glasses) still a misfit. I have a 800.00 cal year deductible on medical insurance and a $10.00 copay on vision insurance. I had to pay $127.00 for my eye exam because of the way he had the exam billed. I'm pretty sure he did this to make more money.
