And yeah, it's huge! There was a LOT of furniture and some of it was new. Plus a whole section of exercise equipment for those with good intentions. This thrift store is a nice size, it isn't massive. They have some beautiful shoes right by the entrance, they are displayed like they're in a department store. They have sorted clothes, for men, women and children. I was the most impressed by the home items like; rugs, mirrors, and glassware. Sadly I couldn't bring any of these home with me, but I really liked one of the mirrors. They have a whole section of $1.00 items, there was nothing for me here, but everything seemed to be in very good shape. They also have a substantial amount of records, CDs, books and art. They're very particular when choosing what to buy and I appreciate that as a buyer. I've sold a few things but im always surprised by what they choose to skip on in terms of high end gently worn items from my own closet. In any case, I respect their methods. The staff is usually pretty helpful though not always the most enthusiastic. However, I understand everyone has rough days. Some of my favorite pieces come from Funky Monkey, so I'll definitely be back.
