But from the moment I walked in, I was met with friendly and courteous service. Sheila, the hairdresser who did my hair was lovely, she asked questions relevant to my hair/lifestyle and then made suggestions for the type of cut that would suit me as well as the blow dry. For all of you who can understand the pain of combating frizzy hair, I have news for you. The Aveda 'Be Curly' line (shampoo, conditioner and curl enhancer and a finishing gloss to give the hair extra shine for a night out on town) actually works and is a life-saver for curly girls and guys. They of course have products for all sorts of hair types but I don't know if they work as magically. When I moved to Dublin, I panicked when none of my friends knew where to by Aveda. I thought I needed to ship my shampoo from back home, but then I discovered that Wetstone hair salon has a good selection of Aveda products. It's a bit pricy, but these are quality products so you don't have to use the same amount as the cheaper stuff, so the shampoo actually lasts. And happy hair always comes with a price. No more bad hair days for me, thank you very much!

What happened next was nothing short of a miracle. Elizabeth took up the challenge of fixing the shameful mess that was my hair. She spent over an hour carefully trimming down the weight and bulk, allowing my natural curls to spring back to life. She painstakingly softened the areas in the back where chunks had been removed by the previous stylist, resolving the mushroom shape that had taken over. Elisabeth is a charming professional who brought my lovely red hair back to life. Not only did she correct the bad cut, she gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. I left the salon with my self confidence restored. I felt pretty again. Finding a hair stylist is not an easy process.
