Cherry is an absolute pleasure to work with to create the perfect bridal look. First of all, she is up to date on current trends and uses only the best makeup and products on her clients. She is also very hygienic with her techniques; as a bacteriologist, I really appreciated this. And although I got my hair cut and thinned before my wedding, it was still incredibly thick and a bit difficult to work with. I had picked out a different updo style in her salon, but she suggested I try a Kate Middleton-inspired style instead on the day of. I agreed and working quickly she made my hair look amazing and just like the Duchess'. It stayed all day (asian weddings can be an all day occasion, but not one hair was out of place) -even at the end of the reception. Similarly, my airbrush makeup was flawless and beautiful lashes stayed put all day. But don't take my word for it, check out Miss Washington, who gets her pageant makeup done exclusively by Cherry. But best of all, when Cherry came early in the morning to do my makeup and hair (and my mother's!) I did not feel like I was simply a client. She had brought her sweet mother, because they had plans later that morning. It felt like having aunts preparing me for my most important day, easing my nerves with kind words and making sure I look as beautiful as possible even though we shared a only short hour or so together. I went to Cherry for seaweed peel facial. I have had some stubborn white head in my forehead since I was 12 and with just one peel, things were significantly better. I returned today for my second peel (after a month) and the result continues to impress me. I feel my skin is smoother and my forehead condition is improving quickly. Another note is, I like how Cherry takes the time to work on my face. Unlike other big chain facial place that has to "time-limit" the facial, she takes however long it needs to really work on my face both times. A friend of mine recommended Cherry and I'm so glad I was able to have Cherry do the makeup for my wedding. She did my hair and makeup, and makeup for all 6 ladies in my wedding party/family. She's very professional and everyone was really happy with how the makeup looked. It was natural but didn't look "washed out" in pictures either. I showed Cherry a picture of how I wanted my hair to be done and her execution was spot on. I have natural frizzy curls and I wanted to wear it down, Cherry had no problem making my hair look great. She even showed my bridesmaids how to undo some of the pins and change into another headband for me. I often wear nude color eye makeup, and Cherry suggested to try a lavender palette during the makeup trial. While the application was nice, I didn't think it was for me so I emailed her with my feedback and she took it really well. On my wedding day, she used all the colors I loved.
