There are so many beautiful and well cared for plants to choose from, and at comparable prices. They will repot your plant for a small fee, and they offer classes to teach you how to care for your plants. The venue hosts local artisans periodically so in addition to plants, there are also handmade goods for purchase. Artwork, candles, body care products, and jewelry are all within your reach! My second time coming to get my plants repotted. This store is beautiful. Large and small house plants everywhere. I'm loving the ability to have my plants repotted and getting some guidance on how to better care for my plants. Mind you, this is a woman owned business that we all should support but the offer classes for groups on painting and customizing your own pot. Why not have a girls night out painting a pot, potting a plant all while drinking a little wine, soda or water. Heck, let's have a friends meetup here! I joined the Leisure League at a Paint & Pot event here. I arrived early so that I could check out the business before the event got started. There is a very small parking lot, but street parking is available. The young lady working there, whose name I failed to get or remember, was very pleasant and welcoming. She was setting up the tables and supplies for our event, telling me to let her know if I have any questions about their business and items for sale. In addition to the beautiful selection of plants, they also have lots of great art and cute gifts available. I don't know that the artwork is available for purchase, but I would imagine so. This is such a cute spot! I made a quick stop for another heart plant that I had purchased from them last year. I loved browsing at all the different options they have. Highly recommend them! I want to be a plant person but I'm not and I don't know a whole lot about them. With that information, the owner told me, You should get a ZZ. So I did. She told me how to care for it and 2 months in, she's still alive and thriving! This place has a massive selection of plants and the staff knows their stuff about all of them. I loved it here. They have a variety of plants. I visited during a paint and pot, where we painted our pots and got to pick a $12 plant to go in the pot. The assistant manager was really nice, attentive and answered all of our questions. I chose a fig plant. All plants are well priced. Will definitely be returning for more. read more

This place is another east side gem offering plants for reasonable prices in the Avondale area. We attended a paint a pot event that you prepay for. It was fun and interesting. Pots and paint were suppled. Conversations were had and we met new people. Some of the pots came out really good. Mine was special. lol. This place is heaven!!!to be left alone to explore was not a good idea to my husband. I walked out of here with at least five plants and a punch card to ensure I come back..lol I don't know how I became a plant mom at 40 but I'm in love with this place because of it. The place is filled with all types of plants and beautiful artwork. The shop owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. After leaving this place I've became more inspired to explore different plants and watch them grow. I went in several weeks ago because I am a plant fanatic and have heard wonderful things. The plants and layout were absolutely amazing! Such a cute shop! I was disappointed by the lack of friendliness or help offered by staff. I was in the store for over ten minutes and was not acknowledged once. Then, the reason I left without purchasing, is another customer walked in and was greeted immediately, pleasantly and was offered assistance. I love small businesses for the hospitality and willingness to help and great products! I hope this is not the norm for this one and may try again soon. read more

Labor of love for sure! You can tell as soon as you walk in. I think this is my favorite houseplant shop in the Birmingham area so far! The inside was incredibly clean, organized, and nicely decorated. The plants were all very well taken care of, as they all looked very healthy. The prices were also very reasonable--much more so than other shops around here. The owner was so nice and accommodating and she had many cute pots for sale to go with the plants. This review doesn't do the shop justice for how good it was, but I did the best I could. Please go visit yourself! read more
