Simply adorable shop with a handful of different rooms of coastal crafts for your home. Loved seeing all of the decorations that I could definitely see in my home. They have holiday decs, gift items like jewelry, custom painted dressers and furniture, wall paintings, clothes, and other cool items such as local historical items that def were interesting to see. It's a really cool good size shop in a small plaza with parking. Bonus is that across the street is where the historical Kapok Tree Inn is located. Our first visit to this shop we didn't find what we were looking for but we found some vinyl records in impeccable shape and have been enjoying playing them since. The shop is well organized and they have some beautiful things especially if you're looking for beach decor. read more

TLDR: great spot for unique Florida decor and refurbished furniture. Furniture at a decent price, decor items often over priced. This store offers a variety of unique items made from many local artists. It contains 3 large areas full of items from quite a few different Vendors. They often have barn wood tables and shabby sheet style furnishings. We enjoy browsing through the store to find hidden treasures and this has been our favorite spot for refurbished home goods. We have a beach cottage style home and this has been our main furniture shop for filling our home. They also have homemade jewelry, soaps, candles and lotions which are great for gifts. Located across the street from the Kapok center, this is a unique find in the fact it's filled with work from various vendors (this different booths). Each area is sectioned off with that person's items. I'm on the hunt for a dresser and this place's prices were great. Their inventory changes frequently so make sure you check back often. read more

This is A very cute furniture boutique in Clearwater which appears to specialize in refurbished furniture. The store is squeaky clean, very well organized and surprisingly no clutter like you typically see at some antique shops. The people who refurbish the furniture here are extremely talented. The store is filled with older furniture that has been given new life by local artists with tasteful paint styles varying from the shabby chic French to that antique-white-washed look. They had several dining room and living room sets. Lots of accent pieces for any room in your home. If you're looking for hardcore antiques - or something from Antiques Road Show :) - this is not your stop. Most everything I saw did not appear to be the original stained wood. If you cherish the old but want something with a designer color flair, you will love this place. read more

This place is extremely cute, the women who run this store do a nice job in displaying their pieces. However I don't understand where the one dollar sign comes in. This place is outrageously expensive. You will not be able to find a dresser less than around 350$. The "shabby chic" look is not worth the hundreds and hundreds of dollars. To label this store with only one dollar sign is misleading, especially to those who make the long trip out looking for furniture on a budget. read more

This is a very cute, clean, well laid out space. The ladies working here are very nice and helpful. I appreciate that they do not shadow you while you browse. I like the retro pieces they have and think the prices were fair. I can easily overdose on the white or turquoise painted furniture, though. I would prefer that some pieces be left as-is so that I could choose my finish. But thats just personal preference and maybe too much of a good thing. You will be pleasantly surprised, this place is so much more than it appears to be. Totally full of shabby chic which I love, but it was great to see some antique pieces that hadn't been touched. Their prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other shabby chic/vintage home decor stores in the area. The owners are very friendly, and they are even open on Sundays when so many shops are closed. I will be checking in again very soon. read more

My first review, and I have to say, this really is an awesome store. While I can appreciate the artistry that goes into all of the pieces you will see when you visit here along with the incredible selection (believe me, there's a lot here) and all the one-of-a-kind items that their pickers must work so hard to find; what I really find cool is the quality and prices. I must have looked at 30 pieces today, all of them solid wood. Solid Oak, Mahogany, Cedar, Cherry, Maple, wow. Really, well built pieces, too, and the prices are amazing! If you're sick of paying super high prices for cheap, imported furniture made from paper or light weight materials that wear out in a few years. If you're looking for pieces with style and character, you really owe it to yourself to check out House To Home. You won't be disappointed. read more

I went there because I was looking for a specific brand of artisan soap I found while on vacation in North Carolina where they make it locally. I searched the internet to try to find a place near me that sells it. I could only find it on Amazon for a much higher price or, on an untrustworthy site I didn't want to mess with. I had almost given up and then I found it mentioned on a site that they sell it at House to Home. I live in Tampa so I called first and they definitely had it in stock and for the same prices I paid in North Carolina. So I went in and bought a ton of it. The two ladies were also very friendly and accommodating. There was no price on the item I wanted and she quickly go to me within 5 minutes with the price tag. Today I called House to Home to inquire about a vanity I saw listed on Craigslist. House to Home said that the piece was still available, and cost $259. I questioned that price, since the craigslist ad had the vanity listed at $349. The woman I talked to on the phone said that the craigslist ad was incorrect. I told her that I would be stopping by today to pick up the vanity, and even inquired about what tools would be needed to take off the mirror for transport. Once I arrived at the store, the vanity was still there and clearly marked with a tag that said $259, which was tied to the drawer. I told the cashier I was ready to purchase the vanity. She took the tag off of the vanity and said "we have a problem, the back of this tag says chest of drawers." I explained to the cashier that I was quoted the price of $259 on the phone today AND it was clearly ticketed at that price. I had my boyfriend meet me at the store with his SUV and the proper tools to take the vanity apart. The cashier said she needed to call her boss. Once she explained the situation to the store manager, I was given the phone. The store manager said they were very busy and the tags must have gotten switched and that "everyone makes mistakes." She said that she was sorry that "I was having a problem with the vanity" and that since she is a vendor operated store, she has "no control over pricing". She further stated that she spoke to the vendor, who "wouldn't sell the piece to me at a discount." The store manager did not care that I had been quoted the price of $259 that day, nor did she care that the piece was ticketed inappropriately. She did nothing to rectify the situation. I made a special trip to pick up this piece of furniture and I'm extremely disappointed and upset that I was deceived by House to Home staff. What poor customer service. I will never be visiting this store again, and I will be informing my family and friends about my terrible experience at House to Home. read more

The store is adorable - great shabby chic furniture and beachy/feminine decor. Others have said it's a bit pricy but I think the pricing is fair. I recently bought a dresser and end table there - spent about $350 altogether. I went back in today for an oval shaped "empty frame" to put some artwork in for my baby's nursery. The one oval frame was very expensive so I opted for the rectangle one, thinking it may or may not work for the look I was trying to achieve. I asked if I could return the item if it didn't work and was told no. I even offered to bring it back same day since I live right down the road (and in that case, probably would have ended up buying the more expensive frame anyway) but was told once again like a broken record "we don't do returns." I applaud this mom n pop shop if they are doing well enough to turn away a sale, however I don't think that is good customer service and probably won't be going back. I'm sure I'm not the only one who sometimes needs to see a decor item in my home to know if it's right or not. This whole be a five star review had I not had this unfortunate experience. But hey, if you are one of those people who never returns items, this store is great. read more
