Nicole and her husband are amazing and seem to really care about the company taking care of their customers. I scheduled a move fairly close to my move date and they were able to come out same day for a quote. The quote was very competitive and came with a large trailer. The day before the move she called to let me know something was preventing the trailer from getting to us but that they'd provide two trucks (more room) no charge instead. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They wrapped our items well as promised, packed the truck thoughtfully, and worked hard. They showed up on time and delivered on time. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

They then canceled on me 20 minutes before the rescheduled time, saying they *couldnt* leave the other move to honor my appointment even tho the other person wasn't even packed. (They just wanted that extra hourly cost from that person I'm sure). Rescheduled for the next day. Cost me money because I had already paid for daycare and for a cleaner to come to my old place. I had to pay for another day of day care and pay my cleaning person a cancellation fee plus the cleaning fee. Almost $300. Despite being very clear about moving a 1400sq ft place, they showed up with a truck that was too small to do it in one trip as discussed (Dragging out the time/cost). One mover was polite. The other was rude and the overall experience was beyond unprofessional. They left me with scratched and wobbly/damaged furniture from mishandling. They even asked us to help move things ! When the office person sent the text requesting payment, I asked about the price being adjusted for the huge and expensive inconvenience they caused me the day before and she was reluctant to do anything. After my insistence she gave me a small discount, but in actuality I should not have paid a dime over the originally quoted price due to the unprofessionalism and what they cost me by canceling. I asked if they were an insured company and she refused to answer or address my damaged furniture. She was generally pretty defensive and kept repeating the same excuse instead of wanting to accommodate me. I will obviously never recommend or use this company.

It's in the worse possible location. Trying to get in or out between 2pm and 6pm is a nightmare. Their prices are higher than most competitors in the area. When I moved out they charged the rent a few days beforehand, but refused to prorate and refund the remaining. Stay away like it's the plague!!!

They remember my puppy even over a year later love her just as much. We found an abandoned kitten in my back yard and Itsie Bitsie took her for us the next day no questions asked. They are in the process of cleaning her up and getting her out there for adoption. I was so impressed with them I even connected my boss with them to adopt a dog. She was kind, informative, helpful and an absolute blessing. Itsie Bitsie is my go to donation place for saving my kitten's kittens and not judging me for my ignorance. I rescue dogs, so this was a whole new world and while Kristen made it feel alright. The adoption fee is because their team to ask questions from us, and while my kitten is now spayed (thanks to resources provided by the rescue!) I'll absolutely recommend this place first because these animals are treasured before you even meet them.

**FANTASTIC MOVING COMPANY** Moving is undoubtedly one of the most stressful experiences you can go through in life, even when it is under the best of circumstances. While unfortunately I cannot say that our reasons for moving are the best, House to Home Moving made the experience as easy, efficient, pleasant and pain-free as possible! Our movers, Patrick, Willie and Ray, arrived at our home at exactly 9:00am, and they were very friendly, kind and ready to get in and work hard. They worked quickly and skillfully, and handled all of our possessions with care. They were incredible conscientious of not only the things they were moving, but of the floors, walls and doors/door frames that they were moving our things through. After all our things were carefully and safely packed into the truck, Patrick went over everything with us, and what the next steps in our move would be. Since our move was over a state line, he told us where they would be, what time they would arrive at out new house, and very graciously extended the offer that if we needed more time in the morning before they got to the house, to call and they would work around our schedule. Again, as the stress of a move often takes a very high toll, both physically and emotionally, we greatly, greatly appreciated his courteous offer for our comfort and convenience. The next morning, once again, they arrived right on time, and just as they did the day before, worked quickly, carefully and efficiently. While unloading our things, they were very thorough and conscientious of where we wanted everything placed, making sure that we were happy with where our things were put. They were very patient and willing to move, and even move again, our things, to where we wanted them to go. They even helpfully made a suggestion of where to put an item that we were unsure of where to put, that turned out to be the perfect spot! Patrick, Willie and Ray truly seemed to care about us and our things, and our satisfaction with they job they were doing. Nothings was broken or damaged in the process, and we were incredible happy with the experience we had with House to Home Moving. The company itself was great to work with. Everyone we spoke with over the phone were helpful and courteous, and Jose, our estimator was just as thorough, polite and efficient. We feel very fortunate to have had House to Home move our things, and even more pleased to have had the great guys, Patrick, Willie and Ray, be the ones who took such care with our possessions. We have used this moving company on 4 separate occasions. The first 3 were excellent experiences which made us recommend them to everyone. We are always organized movers and have everything ready by moving day, all we need is the movers to show up and haul the furniture and boxes to the truck, transport to the new place, and unload boxes and furniture. There were always only two guys, who were well equipped to handle the weight and had the experience to know how to move without damaging our property. This most recent move they sent 3 guys. One was a bull in a china shop, one was too old to have the strength and stamina required to do the full day of lifting and the third was there just to supervise it seemed. At the end of 3 hours, we had so much damage done to the property we were moving out of, and their dirty hands had been slid upon every wall they walked past so that we have now been left with extra cleaning, a dent in our door handle - how in the world does one dent a door knob - and dents in the wood of door frames, stucco out of the exterior wall of the new place, and other things. When I called the company to mention this, I was told that I would be getting a call back from the owner Jacob upon his return from breakfast. Guess what? Still waiting. I called back again today, left 3 messages, very clear and concise due to my extreme frustration and guess what! Still no call back. If this is how this company is going to treat a returning customer (I assure you we have paid enough over these last 4 moves to warrant good treatment), if customer care isn't what they embrace as they are having you sign the dotted line, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVING NEEDS! read more

I had used House to Home on a previous occasion when moving from one apartment unit to another within the same complex. That being the case, the decision of which moving company to use for my recent move to a house in Rocklin was an easy one. Cody, Brian, and Desmond showed up at EXACTLY the scheduled time. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of all three crew members as they began the move process right away after a quick walk through of my old residence. During the entire time of the load (4.5 hrs), I didn't notice the men take a break, much less slow down. A quick 30 minute drive to the new place, and a quick lunch for the guys, and it was time to start settling into our new home. Of course the unload takes a fraction of the time a load does, but it was over 100 degrees at this point, and the crew was starting to feel the heat. They still refused to take a break. I had to ask them to slow down and drink some water, which they finally did, for a minute or two. The crew took care of our belongings all day, asked questions to clarify things, then promptly responded with action after I answered them. All three men were very personable and easy to work with. In short, I'll never use another moving company. When my family re locates to Arizona in a few years, I will specifically ask for Cody, Brian, and Desmond to be included as part of that crew. We were referred to House to Home from a moving consultant we hired to help organize our move. The person from House to Home who came out to give us an estimate was very polite and courteous and went room to room writing down what we had to move. We were going to be moving some of our items ourselves and explained that to the estimator. Imagine our surprise when we were given an estimate of over $33,000 to move part of a 3 bedroom home from NorCal to SoCal!! We said thanks, we would think about it, and got some other estimates. Other estimates from reputable moving companies came in between $10,000-$12,000 so needless to say, we did not use House to Home for our move. The owner, Jacob, came back out and apologized for the high estimate after we said we were going to use someone else. He offered to do another estimate if we would walk through the house with him AGAIN but we passed on his offer and went with a more well known company. We found the experience with House to Home very disappointing and could not recommend them to anyone. I am surprised at the positive Yelp ratings I saw and am glad other people had a better experience than we did. I have heard that they do a great job on small local moves but I think our move was more than they are used to doing and is better suited to the larger moving companies. Make sure to get multiple estimates before accepting a bid from this company. Caveat Emptor! read more

I've had the pleasure of moving with House to Home a few times over the years and have always received great service. I would have to say the best part is the fact that they come out and provide an estimate that states a Not To Exceed price. This is something I haven't seen before and it's usually scary because companies like to charge more than they stated over the phone. With the not to exceed you already know the most it could be and can plan accordingly. Even better is the fact that both times I've used them they have gotten the move done in less time than estimated which means I paid less than the price quoted. Since I budgeted ahead I just gave the remainder to the movers for dominating! As far as the movers go they were all great guys I have nothing bad to say about them at all. I think the last crew I had out was Patrick, Robert and Angel and they just killed it. The 3 man crew is super efficient, usually 2 guys are running stuff in and out and the driver is stacking it up in the truck making sure everything is safe. All in all a great experience and I will always recommend these guys. Give em a call and ask for Justin to come out and provide you with a free estimate, you won't be disappointed. read more

Our team: Eric (the Lead), Michael, Mesake and Julius were fantastic. We couldn't have hand picked harder workers and they were a real pleasure to work with too. They got to our house at 8 am and, except for short lunch and dinner breaks, didn't quit until they had moved us (using two trailers) into our new home after 1 am. They were very careful with all of our belongings, our house and yard, not to damage anything. They took extra care to take apart our heavy and antique furniture for the move and then carefully put it all back together, where we wanted it, in our new house. They worked tirelessly and we really appreciate all that they did. This was a temporary move for us. We will be moving into our new home next year and hope that we will be able to have the same team again for our next move. We can't say enough good about them. The move estimator, Ray, Office Manager, Latiana, and everyone else that we spoke with at the office before and after the move were very helpful, answered all of our questions and were really nice too. UNBELIEVABLE! In record time, Cody and Angel packed and moved my whole apartment from upstairs to downstairs, with everything in the exact same place including pictures on the walls, lamps on the tables, plugging in masses of cables attached to computer, TV's -- amazing attention to detail. Including a tight-packed storage closet, also arranged with care and precision. The lead guy Cody kept a relentless focus on accomplishing this job with maximum efficiency, and neither one ever let up carrying the heavy loads and distributing my tons of stuff. I'm so grateful to them, because as a single woman with health problems and near-zero stamina, when I got a notice to vacate my longtime apartment to make way for renovation I was at a loss. With their tremendous dedication and powerful strength, I feel like I was saved by a team of super-heroes! I had House to Home at my home for just a short period of time and I could see that all the employees were well mannered and trained. They looked like a boy scout troop. Clean cut and polite. I was so impressed with how alert they were to the environment and how much attention they gave to the small details. The estimate that was given by Karson was accurate. I had several companies give me estimates that were a bit lower and it was clear that House to Home was the most honest in the estimate process. They did not try to hook me with a low fee then do add on's after. Karson's knowledge and experience was evident when he noticed things that the other companies missed. I would highly recommend House to Home for any moving situation. My sister will be moving cross country and I know it will be worth it to have these guys on the job. We spend a lifetime building memories. trusting the people that handle your items is peace of mind. This is an update to my previous review. I was told by own movers that they would get a bonus for good reviews on Yelp. I was very happy with them and left a positive review right away. However, 5 days later, I noticed significant damage to our new refrigerator. It was in the garage waiting to be swapped out which is why I didn't notice right away. I bought it new for $1761 and House to Home is settling my claim for $252. So now I have a very nice, very damaged garage refrigerator. It took many phone calls, emails, and voice mails to get resolution. We were told to call the owner or office manager on a Thursday morning to let them know we thought the settlement was insufficient. We have done plenty to get this resolved and chasing after two people in a narrow window of time isn't good customer service. Bought fridge 10.11.21 Moved 12.29.21 Filed claim 1.3.22 Last unreturned VM 9.29.22 10.26.22 Called and said to send the $252. I can't waste more time on this. read more

Cody Shadi Brandon and Kevin showed up on time and started working instantly. They worked fast and effiecient while making sure not to damage our furniture or any walls or doorways in my old and new house. They were really friendly and easy to talk to. They made me feel really at ease and the move was very stressful on me and my family the weeks leeading up to our move out date. They we really patient and moved and removed my furniture around making sure it was precisely how i wanted. They assembled our bed and desk with ease. Our fridge was a hassle but they managed to get it out of the old house and into our new place and all they had to do was remove the front door. Needless to say we tipped them all pretty good, we wished we could of tipped more and me and my wife have been talking about the excellent job weeks since so we decided to write a outstanding review to thank them one more time for a job well done. read more

Shadi, Deante, and Kevin were not only kind, courteous, and professional, they were amazingly efficient and worked at such a pace I couldn't finishing packing up fast enough! Shadi's skills only complimented the hard work that was needed in order to make the relocating process as easy on our family as possible. This was the first time I've used a moving service as I've been skeptical about whether or not the investment was worthwhile or not. Well, let me assure you that, yes, with House To Home, it is SO worthwhile. I was faced with the daunting task of moving my mom into an assisted living facility quickly. It was as simple as calling and scheduling a free estimate. Jose came to my mom's the next day. He provided a best case and worst case estimate, both of which seemed reasonable. Once we had a move-in date, I called to schedule the move and they were able to accommodate us within a few days. On the day of the move, Patrick and DeAngelo were punctual, kind, and efficient. Having moved several times over the past decade, I have worked with multiple moving companies and my experiences ranged from below average to terrible. From the in home estimate to completion of the move, these guys were great top to bottom. Dustin did the estimate -- he was friendly, punctual, and professional. On moving day the guys said they would be there at 8:00 am. They arrived at 7:45 am, which for me was awesome. At our destination, once again, they arrived exactly when they said they would. Also, our move needed to be pretty quick -- we got our estimate on a Tuesday, and they packed up Friday. Patrick and Angel were excellent. They were professional, friendly, had a good sense of humor, and really did everything they could to make our move easy and painless. Mesake, Levi, Ni, and Jeremiah did an amazing job in moving my parents' entire household belongings in November 2020; it was a super stressful time because both of my parents were hospitalized during this move but Mesake, Levi, Nic, and Jeremiah made the whole moving process a lot less stressful. They were all very polite and used extreme caution in packing potentially breakable items. Yesterday House to Home moved my mother to a new assisted living facility from her existing facility. The movers were extremely efficient, careful, and fast. I appreciated their keeping me informed of their schedule and status. The entire move went according to plan. Although we packed some breakables ourselves, they packed everything else, including clothing, bathroom items, and miscellaneous articles we had no time to sort and organize beforehand. All boxes arrived at the new apartment in perfect condition, no breakage. The moving crew was very courteous and placed all furniture and boxes exactly where we asked, again quickly and efficiently. House to Home did a fantastic job. Jacob came to our house to give us an estimate. He was right on time and put together a "not-to-exceed" estimate. We were scheduled to move on Friday at 8am and the moving trucks showed up right on time. The movers, Kevin, Patrick, Sergio and Jose started immediately and worked like machines. They were very professional, polite, conscientious and caring. They never slowed down until the job is done. When it came time to pay the bill they charged less than the "not-to-exceed" quote. We hired this moving company to move some large items within our home as we had lost faith in the original movers we had hired and whom we did NOT want finishing the job. We wished we had hired these guys from the start! They were extremely friendly, courteous, and experienced. They covered the hand railings with blankets so as not to damage them, something the other moving company did NOT do! Anyway, we highly recommend these guys for anyone looking to hire a moving company... big job or little job, doesn't matter. We know they can handle it and will do a fantastic job! We recently used House to Home to move our home, garage, outdoor living furniture and many large potted plants. Our movers, Robert, Kevin, Deanta, Jose, and Willie were very professoinal, personable, worked extremely hard all day, and because of their experience and teamwork, the move went extremely well and made our day easy. During the move, a woman from the office called to ask how things were going. I shared my concerns about their apparent lack of experience and how long I thought it might take to move my three-bedroom home. Her response surprised me. She said, "Well, we can cancel your move if you'd like." I replied that I did not want to cancel and that I would simply have to stop the move once I reached my budget. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath and lots of heavy furniture (traeger smoker, liquor cabinet, table with 6 chairs, TV stand, dressers, etc) and 40+ boxes to move. From start to finish, the move took just under 5 hours. They made the move fun and packed while playing some old school jams! They used blankets and plastic wrap around furniture for extra padding. Not a single item was damaged! They even lower the dolly very gently when unloading boxes. They packed everything like Tetris masters into the 26ft truck and made it 1 trip. When unloading at the new house, they confirmed where we wanted each box and piece of furniture unloaded. Hoping we don't have to move again anytime soon but if we do, will 100% book with them again!
