My mom got married the day after Thanksgiving, and we were worried about finding a hair and makeup stylist who would be available that day. Luckily, we found Marina and she gave us the most perfect, relaxing day. Everyone in the bridal party wanted a different look (glam, 1920s, classic, etc.) and the bride wanted to go very natural. Marina was so accommodating to what everyone was looking for and made us all feel beautiful. She spent the entire day with us and helped us plan out the schedule so that everything went exactly as planned and on time. I called and left her a message about what I needed and what kind of hair I had and she called back within the hour. Not only was she extremely kind over the phone but she really seemed to understand what I needed and I set up an appointment with her as soon as possible. About a week later she was in my kitchen drinking coffee and doing my hair. It was like having a cool older sister I never knew existed! We chatted and laughed the entire time she was coloring my hair. When it was time to wash my color out she brought me over to the sink. I was surprised that a stylist could really put that much time and compassion into something as simple as washing my hair. Afterwards she gave me a blowdry and styled my hair and I kid you not I felt like Marilyn Monroe by the end of it. Kacy is talented at both cut, layering, color, and highlights. Well doesn't it suck to be thousands of miles away from home when this happens? I can tell you it really does. Worse yet is the countless calls, requests, and pestering you do via Yelp. Google is no different. Somehow I kept missing Ben then I saw him and called. When I talk about that OMG I HAVE AN ANGEL moment, I think Ben. From the moment we spoke, he had me send in photos, he looked at them, called and said, "Yeah I can fix this". Within hours he rearranged his schedule and my confidence, my self-esteem, my pride, my enjoyment was back.
