He looked around the house and quoted me the price of the fix on the gutter and also the leafs filter which he introduced it to me when he first arrived. I was not sure if I want to install any Leaf protector because I have been quoted by many company before and it was just not worth it. He told me he use the product on his own house and it was warranty for 25yrs (unheard of. most of the company I talked with insured for 10yrs or less). Most importantly I was not feeling any pressure from him at all. He was just giving me options to choose. He also educated me on every questions or concerns that I had. Nonetheless, I gave it another go and see if he Jesse can give me a reasonable quote. To my surprise I found the price is really reasonable not only for the work I want done but also for the leaf protector. He took time installing it on that same day and I cannot be more happier that it is now done. My Gutter looks awesome! (It looked like the sewage line prior because so much dirt from the trees/moss) I cant wait to see how it works when it rains. Btw, I have never heard any company that I hired to do work on my house says this. Jesse offered me if I want, I can wait to pay him for the leaf protectors until it rains....this was in the middle of summer. Winter is not until 2-3 months later. John and his assistants were very professional, kept the site clean (and our kitchen accessible during the construction) and the final invoice ended up being below the initial bid. They were a competitive price and one of the few who did a thorough inspection of the house before making a quote. Once we selected them, they scheduled our replacement to start within 2 business days and had it completed 3 days later! Communication throughout the replacement was excellent, including before and after photos of the water-damaged plywood. We also asked to add the shed during the job and they were able to easily add it. Finally, everything was cleaned up each night and at the end of the job. They even replaced an older skylight for us. Monalo had earned my trust by finishing the job on time. I had contacted him through Yelp and established a friendly relationship. I even reached out to him directly on the phone. I had given him a job to repair the sidings, caulk, and paint, and asked him to work on his free time, apart from his big roofing contracts. Monalo showed up the next day to start the work. He pressure washed the siding to make it ready for repair and paint. He then asked for money to buy the material. Since we had a trusted relationship, I transferred the money to his account directly. However, Monalo started giving false promises. He promised to finish the work this weekend, then promised after promises, and dragged it on for over two months. I started to suspect his intentions and looked at past reviews about him on Yelp. I found that this guy is a habitual fraudster. When I asked about either a refund for my advance payment or finishing the work, he stopped replying to my messages and calls. Please don't give him any advance money. Otherwise, he will run away.
