Thank God for VSI General Contracting! Our house had 27-year-old LP siding that had failed and we had contacted several siding contractors before finding VSI. The few contractors who did respond to our requests for proposals didn't bother to show up for the scheduled appointments or bombarded us with phone calls and emails about upgrades and options without even setting foot on the site. Frustrated, we reached out to our real estate agent and a friend of ours who is a custom home builder, both of whom recommended VSI with high praise! The owner, Scott, responded right away and arrived early to our appointment. He took his time to look at the condition of the siding and had suggestions for replacement material. Based on my earlier experience with other contractors, I was a little leery when he suggested an upgrade, but Scott explained how the upgrade would actually cost less than a 1:1 replacement. His quote was extremely competitive. I explained to him that we had a limited budget and he assured me that (barring any unforeseen structural damage) there would be no change orders or upsells. He held to his word. What is even better is when we decided to pull the trigger late on a Friday afternoon, he said he could start the following Monday and finish within 2-3 days! Scott and his crew arrived on time and had the siding complete within 2 days. The work was top notch and we were incredibly impressed with all the little 'extras' that we didn't even consider like custom fabricated flashings, drip-edges, and blocks for our house lights and exterior outlets. We were so impressed that we asked him to give us a quote for painting the entire house. Again, his quote was extremely competitive and he said he could have a crew start right away. The paint, like the siding, is top shelf and we couldn't be happier. Within 7 days, our house went from the worst on the block to the best on the block. It looks like new construction. I highly recommend VSI and will reach out to them for all future work. Scott and his team are dedicated, personable, and professional. They made the entire project as headache-free as possible and I really can't say enough good about them. They are the best and we feel very blessed to have had the opportunity to work with them!

The quote was competitive, they were flexible in tailoring the scope to our budget and goals, and the crew was professional, on time, and kept the site very clean. The finished roof and gutter system look great and have already improved both peace of mind and insurance costs. Based on our experience, I highly recommend Ferdi for roof and gutter replacement projects.

I did the due diligence of researching contractors (including through Yelp itself) and getting multiple quotes. Ferdi Exteriors was in my top three choices going into contacting folks based off the reviews prior. When I actually got talking to JD, his knowledge and care for what he wanted for our home shown through immediately. His estimate for our metal roof was very competitive to others we received, so that combined with my earlier statement made us go with Ferdi. The work itself took about a week and the end result was excellent. The crew also made their best efforts to keep the property cleaned up, so forgive any few little bits left behind.

AMAZING! I could…read morespend time writing this review raving about the attention to detail, workmanship, professionalism, service provided, and quality of work. While that is all completely true- this company stands out because of their inherent sense of pride in their work and the relationships they build with their customers. From the multiple communications, going above and beyond their scope of work and above and beyond their statement of contract, every small detail that was brought up to them, they responded to. Whether it was a pestering question just because you don't know the process, or a silly task like 'can you please throw away our old hose', every single detail they addressed. You will never feel uninformed, or anything unanswered. If siding was something you would have to do again and again, we would go straight back to them. If you some how stumble upon this company while doing research about whom to go with, PLEASE stop your search and hire immediately. Every member of their team operates with nothing less than excellence. They have built great rapport with us, and we will always only recommend them. We have no regrets and will refer them further in every direction possible. Excellent business deserves excellent support. THANK YOU ELI & Team!

Eli the owner of the company kept in constant contact about what's was going happen and when. I highly recommend Superior Roofing when getting bids for a new roof. They will not disappoint you. The good: -competitively priced, one of the cheaper quotes we received -good quality materials: porcelain tile slabs -frequent communication -finished product seems to be functionally ok, for now -we had a toilet leak during the construction period, Juan reseated the toilet properly and fixed the leak promptly, this was much appreciated. The bad The work was overall sloppy, in many regards. First and foremost, after Juan installed the valve and plumbing, they caused a small leak into our living room below during water testing. This required them to open up the ceiling downstairs, dry it out, and patch up the drywall and repaint (see pictures below). This honestly freaked me out and increased my vigilance throughout the project. During shower door installation, they cracked one of the slabs requiring it to be replaced. This was fine, but the waterproofing patch job looked uneven and thin, but they did come out and re-coat it after I brought this up. The shower door hinges were poorly installed initially. The screws were not countersunk and sticking out; I even confirmed with the shower door manufacturer that this was not correct. We had a lot of back and forth about this; Juan eventually replaced the screws with ones that fit more properly. Wall edge at the end of the shower looks very uneven, and the caulking has cracked and the wall on the tub side even has a hole in it at the transition. On the last day, I asked them to replace the shower arm to raise our showerhead, as it was low; I purchased a gooseneck from Lowe's myself, but Juan initially told me "you can do it yourself" however because they already installed a standard shower arm. He did end up putting it in at the end but it was installed improperly; it was crooked, so I decided to replace it myself afterwards as I was already quite stressed with this project already and this was a simple fix. After taking the shower arm off, I found no teflon tape on the threads, but instead a thin layer of some kind of goo. I'm not a plumber, but teflon tape is generally recommended to seal the threads. I cleaned the threads off and installed the shower arm with properly applied teflon tape with a thin layer of pipe dope. At least the copper elbow in the wall felt solid. Overall, the wet area seems ok, we're not having any leaks (so far), and the shower is functional; however, I felt the project was rushed, communication, while frequent, was poor, and the end product is just sloppy. In the end I was told "I worry too much about everything." I'll post the pictures of the areas of concern and you can judge for yourself. We saved a few thousand dollars, but in hindsight, I wish I hired someone else and saved myself a lot of stress.

Supposed to start October but didnt get permit submitted till November, they asked for 40k down to submit permit and start building. I decided at the end of November to walk away from the project, the permit was not approved yet and the city was asking for measurements. They told me they needed to come in and measure for permitting and ordering. I told them I didn't want to do the project, the next day I was informed that the 40 k down would not be returned because I signed a contract. I tried to work with them to maybe do other work on the house and they refused, either the addition gets built or I forfeit that money. So they kept all 40 k. They also pushed forward to do my siding early on, and honestly I should have been paying more attention and put a hold on the project. They left the top row of siding off because they intended on finishing siding later after completion of the addition. They did paint so they could say that the 18k siding project was complete, but not only was I missing the top row of siding but they didn't caulk any joint. I went all winter with out my house weather proofed. UPDATE: The owner called me july 9th. He started out with letting me know that he didn't know about what was going on. I informed him that I tried multiple times to contact him. He wanted to make things right in return for taking down the review. His offer was to finish up the siding, I couldn't agree to that. We talked about what he may owe me. He didn't think that I was owed anything, as my 40 k deposit was all spent on administrative costs for my project, before we even break ground on my addition. I informed him that I gave him 10k in the beginning to cover administrative costs. But he still insisted these were all costs they took. My records show that I withdrew the 40k deposit Oct 25, and I cancelled the project Nov 22, 40k gone in 30 days? He also slightly touched on how legally he probably didn't owe me anything. I agreed with him, he may legally owe me nothing. But I brought up that morally it may be the wrong thing to do. He has been trusted with my home, and morality is pretty important for me to trust him. After our talk I went through my contract again, the total contract was 105k*. 10k plus 40k was used on administrative fees, that's half the contract. If you factor in the siding cost, I'm in 70k. That math only leaves 35k to buy materials, pay labor, and make a profit on my second story addition. None of this made sense to me. Update: There you go public. As can be seen from their response, 2FL is justified and in the right..... Although there contract numbers seem different than mine. And yes a personal issue was part of me cancelling as I explained to the sales man, I was and still am in parenting litigation and it was taking an unexpected turn. This litigation was going to now eat some serious cash flow so I can have visitation with my 3 year old. And yes parenting litigation may put reviewing a company on the back burner. What I cant understand is I don't believe the owner said anything about material in our last call, just administrative cost. They never entered my house for final measurements. UPDATE: while working on finishing up my siding myself, found rot in a spot that now I have to un do their work to fix. The contract said they would repair rot, it looks like they just sided over it instead. UPDATE: I have wrapped up the siding on my house. Almost a year later and its finally weather proofed. I just cant beleive 2fl left me hanging like this, they kept every bit of money and couldn't even offer to finish the siding that I had paid in full. They left my house to rot in the weather after I had given them a total of 70k.
