Bubble soccer was really fun until some jerk hit me really hard from the side and I fell and tore my ACL. It took 6 months after surgery for my knee to bend fully and feel normal again. There's a reason why they make you sign a waiver. What gets me is the guy running the event kept telling us "Hit each other harder!!" Because you're in a bubble you can't see who is coming at you to protect yourself and I don't think it's a coincidence that my injury happened after the coordinator started egging the guys on. BTW cost of ACL surgery and PT will run you upwards of $3,000. A friend of mine got whiplash neck pain. Make sure the people in your cohort aren't nuts. read more
