The F2F is so much more valuable than virtual - you can ask questions, the classes are small enough that you can ask questions that are specific to your needs, and there's free snacks and coffee in the kitchen :D The only downside is not all the students work at the same pace, which tends to slow down the class...I do feel like we could fit more information into the day. Protip: bring your own lunch (there's a fridge and microwave) to avoid having to buy lunch in another building. Also, try to register with a friend because they usually have promos (gas gift cards, movie tickets, etc).

If you engage in active listening, show up on time (every time) and practice safe lab procedures you will ace the class with no problem. Take it seriously, phlebotomy is the first line in medical care. So I enrolled my child in the summer camp program and the advertisement/flyer stated that the weekly fee of $125 included lunch and snacks. The first red flag was when I dropped off my child and the teacher didn't request an intake form or emergency contact information , I mean nothing. Which was very concerning. Second red flag was the teacher advised they were no longer offering lunch and snacks. What? But that is what was advertised and actively showing on the website. Third red flag, while so much effort was put in advertising the program that only consisted of my child sitting in a classroom doing arts and crafts. I requested a refund for the remaining week. The principal agreed to refund me. I have called the school 3x and spoke with the principal and there is always an excuse as to why I haven't received the refund. The interactions with the principal and teachers have always been friendly and professional. While the school has potential it is very unorganized and it is brutally obvious that there is a lack of communication. ****Update, after posting a review I received a full refund**.
