It's a gargantuan building that would be at home in New York City. It's massive and a monolith and absolutely remarkable. One of the most beautiful buildings in town and in the state and in the country. The 2 most recent times I came here were to visit the Barber Shop here for trims. Not to be confused with the One Hell Barber, which is a barber who believes that there's only one hell and we're all going to it. It's known as a hell of a barbershop in the tunnels. Some people say it's the best one in the tunnels, and other people say it's the best one in the whole downtown area. You can draw your own conclusions if you're something of a sketch artist, but if you need a haircut around here, this is definitely near the top of my list. Especially if you go with the older gentleman - which as others have said, is usually near the window.

I prefer all of the above…read more Norhill is a lovely little neighborhood in the Heights, and it's close to a lot of the good Mexican food in the area that I like to eat, but it's also close to the fancy bougie ever-expanding Heights, which means you get a little bit of everything around here. I find myself here often because it's close to my favorite bakery which is why I usually come to this neighborhood, and also it's not far from my gym. It would definitely be a nice part of town to live in, and actually Barbi used to live here so we would know.

I lived in KATY over 20 years. I moved here from New Orleans. It's been a lot of changes since I've…read moregot here. It has really grown tremendously. There are restaurants, movie theaters, shopping, entertainment, venues, etc. You really don't have to leave KATY to do much of anything. Everything that you may need is here I can remember when Mason Road had no businesses from I 10 to Morton Ranch and now it's grown and businesses on both sides that been developed. At the time when I moved here Martin ranch stopped at Mason Road. It didn't go all the way through like I did now that was a great improvement. Also 99 stopped at I10 and now it goes almost around the whole city. You will enjoy your time here when you visit or if you live here.

Now all that's gone and there is restaurants, grocery stores, Walmart, tons of shopping, water parks, doctors offices etc... I don't mind shopping and restaurants but let's leave the old trees.

It is a green space with a metal Light garden brought to us by sculptor Tim Glover. The project has began well over 14 years ago and is finally almost at it's completion. The space itself is a bit underwhelming considering the funding and time that has gone into this project. But I guess plans and projects like this has a lot of red tape to go through. But overall, it was just way too small, I was expecting to be WOWed, but I was like meh. The lights at night are cool, but not mind blowing. Glad we have stuff like this in Houston, but was hoping for more. Also btw the yelp maps is wrong, it is actually at the roundabout off washington right when it hits westcott, not at I-10.

Consisting of 3 fountains that continuously run with nighttime illumination and located inside a busy traffic circle, Mecom has provided many a backdrop for photos and quick glances from passing cars. That's what I did when riding a bus back to the Medical district. There are a lot of online articles and pictures about the fountain, including conflict about proposed renovations, stolen lights, and somebody pouring soap to create sudsy effect.

There are several entrances and it is not immediately clear which is the main entrance, but the staff are friendly and will direct you to where you need to go. There is a large parking lot to the south of the building. The double yellow lines on S. Rice Avenue do not align with entrances of the parking lot, suggesting the city needs to repaint those, as everyone who needs to turn left out of the parking lot does so illegally.
