Customer service is slow and rude. Will never use the usps again. I will pay extra to have it shipped by UPS or Fed-ex.

If YELP offered the opportunity to do zero stars, this place would probably be zero…read more First off, I'm trying to be better about not being sassy to people that are sassy to me that work in customer service, but some days I just don't succeed. Before writing this review, I searched through some other reviews of this location and it seems as though the lady I had an issue with has already been pictured and named and several other reviews. This tells me that she is a habitual problem at this location. First off, this location is always busy, it doesn't matter if it's 9 AM or 2 PM. It's always packed. There are so many people waiting for passports, dropping off packages, or doing money orders. I think the main problem is that it's severely understaffed. I also think that the problem is that people are not happy with their jobs and at this point most likely unhappy in their lives in general. So, I went to drop off three packages. Two of the packages needed to be paid for. This particular woman was so rude and looked at me as though I was a complete idiot. At one point I was so tired of her being sassy that I responded, sorry, I don't know how things work. I don't work for the Postal Service; to which she replied, " well we clearly see that." Then, when I asked her for specific information, she was very put off and it was as though I was asking a question unrelated to her job. Overall, I do get that they are understaffed and I do get that. It's really busy and dealing with the public is not always easy, but Lord knows that this lady might need to find another job if she really hates the public. I will say one good thing about her. She does make the line go by quite fast, although she completely talks down to people of all ages and races while doing so. I guess another quality is that she doesn't discriminate; she's just a huge queen bee to everyone. Overall, if you can avoid going to this location, please do. As soon as I got in the car, I said a Hail Mary for this lady because hopefully she doesn't catch somebody else that's in a bad mood or maybe I don't really care. Maybe they'll rip her a new blank.

Very polite and helpful staff. No wait at all to mail a package even at Christmas time.read more

("I told you to..."). I have a disability which also includes my hearing; I don't appreciate her talking down to me as if I was dumb. It was also humiliating in front of the other people in line. I kept asking to step aside so I could figure out what to do without keeping others waiting. I went there with my granddaughter early and could have filled out the forms needed if they were provided before they open (and they were late and didn't have to be rude). Put some kind of self-service machine so I could have taken care of things before they opened and not have to experience this unprofessional service.

I went to the location to check in 2.5 weeks later and wait d in line. They told me that the employee must be out of town and there is no back up. No problem. I asked if they could double check that my small piece of paper that I wrote on with my info was actually submitted to get my lock changed. They said no, they assured it's there in the bin. Called around week 5, still no mail, 30 minutes later I got a confirmation that they should have it done by the weekend. 2 weeks have passed since then- nothing. Going on week 6 with No mail, no help, no response. Thanks guys

I came here last week to mail my wedding invitations and asked about hand canceling my envelopes because they were delicate and I didn't want them damaged. A couple of VERY nice clerks allowed me to use the stamp myself so I wouldn't have to pay 15 cents per envelope. I truly appreciated them. Today I came back because I had two more and I caught the worst clerk they have I guess because she said there was no such thing and it doesn't make a difference if it's hand canceled or not. I said well maybe not to you but I was told by the clerks on my previous visit that it will be treated like metered mail and will not go through a machine. She said "that's a lie!" with a stank attitude. I had to woosa before I snapped. I didn't have time for shenanigans. I just said "ok" and took my envelopes back and went to another post office who gladly did it. Why are people so ignorant?! Ughhh Again, go here at your own risk. Some of the clerks are nice. The one with the bad wig and gold tooth in the front however...

Unfortunately, the customer service I received from one of the clerks was not up to standard. The woman who helped me, short haired, had a noticeably rude and dismissive attitude from the moment I approached the counter. Rather than offering assistance or clarifying the process, she seemed irritated by my questions and responded in a condescending tone that made the interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable. I hope this feedback is taken as a constructive reminder of the importance of respectful communication. I'd like to continue using this location, but I do hope the staff is reminded that how they treat people matters.

My route has historically been one of the most inconsistent, leading to years of missed pickups and constant reporting. However, things have completely turned around thanks to a supervisor named Fahim. After years of managers promising help and then disappearing, Fahim has been a man of his word. He is 'less talk, more action' and has ensured my business pickups occur daily for over a month--a new record for this area. On the rare occasion of a scheduling hiccup, his responsiveness and commitment to actually solving the problem is unlike anything I've seen in the postal service. If you are a local business owner or frequent shipper at the T W House station, know that there is finally someone in management who genuinely cares about service standards. Fahim is a total asset to the USPS and has single-handedly saved my shipping metrics!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: A 2nd clerk showed up and the line flew! Both clerks were extremely helpful. The man who helped me took extra care to ensure that I knew where my tracking numbers were, and that I would receive proof of receipt from the recipient of my letter. I could hear how the other clerk was supporting customers at her window and it was equally above and beyond the typical level of service. So, staffing levels here kind of sucks, but the clerks themselves are awesome! I am revising my review (if Yelp will let me) to average the one star I initially gave and the five stars I would give for service.
