The second time they came to rip the plaster out, but did not acid wash before rip-out, leaving a bunch of plaster inside the grout. The third time they came to redo the plaster. This time they did not cover the deck and literally destroyed the white deck with muddy shoes. Also the plaster was uneven and rough in the spa. We did not want to get it ripped a second time, so decided to accept as-is. The 4th time they came to acid wash, but had tough time removing plaster from the grout, and the PB had to call the tile guy again to get re-grout done. Luckily our PB was cooperative throughout the process. Not recommended. Ask your PB for Pebbletech options or some other Wetedge installer. .

I was undecided about what type of finish I wanted for my pool. When I called Pool Works they were very helpful and set me up with an appointment at their showroom to discuss my options. I met with Kevin and he showed me samples of the different finishes they offered and was very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each finish. I supplied him with a copy of my design and he was able to quickly work up prices for me. I decided on the Wet Edge Satin Matrix finish in Aqua Blue for my pool and the Wet Edge Primera Stone finish in Azure Treasure for my hot tub. I decide to add the crushed abalone shells to my finish for a little extra sparkle in my pool and I am very glad I did. We had to adjust the install date once due to weather slowing down other phases of the build. The install crew was prompt and professional and the process was very interesting to watch. They took extra time to protect the area around my pool including my fence, home, garage as well as the the tile and the coping. The day after the install they sent a crew out to clean up the "slush pit", acid wash the finish to expose the aggregate, power wash the tile and coping to get any extra plaster off and to start the fill up process. I must say they did the BEST job cleaning up after themselves out of any contractor I hired. They used two chemicals (pool tec and beau tec) to help control the plaster dust and ensure a quick and easy startup. This was essential to the process and helped me be able to swim weeks sooner than I would have without the chemicals. We did have a slight problem with one table sleeve being set unlevel. I notified them and was contacted by them almost immediately and they explained my options and we set a date to have the sleeve drilled out and reset. They completed this repair today and its 100% right :) Everyone who comes over to swim is impressed with the brilliant Wet Edge finishes and the quality of the plasterwork on my pool. I am very impressed with Pool Works in every possible way & highly recommend them to anyone looking to plaster or re plaster a pool.

Just a day ago one pipe connecting to the hot tub heater corroded where a hole existed due to weather etc. This really is normal wear and tear. Energy company had to turn off the gas and a recommended contractor came out immediately and quoted us 10K to replace the entire piping etc. The pool is only 7 years old and this didn't make sense. I then contacted Abyss Pools and Spas. I was reassured that and given the piping underground is state of the art polyurethane, corrosion will not occur with the underground pipes. Only the above ground piping may need replacing as we can see where the hole/gas leak is occurring from corrosion. Within 48 hours an Abyss rep is going to be at my house to assess the piping and fix. Stated cost would be around $500. That is a huge difference from the 10K we were quoted earlier. Excellent customer service and cannot believe after 7 years they immediately will help with repairs etc. Thank you! Highly recommend!

He got back with me super quick and answered all the questions I had. First off, most pool companies suggested me to drain my pool and quoted me between $700-900. That's not even the water bill included. Jose didn't go this route as he was extremely confident he can get my pool Crystal clear and swimmable in a few short days. Another pool company said they can shock my pool but will take 2-3 weeks to get pool back to blue. I obviously went with Jose as he was professional, confident and price was very reasonable. I'm glad I hired him because he was good for his word. My pool was blue within a few short days. Also, it rained 3 days out of the 5 days he was working on getting my pool blue. You think the rain stopped him? NO! He showed up even if it was raining to clean my filters out. I mean who does that? Jose does! 100% Jose is a scientist when it comes to pool chemistry unlike the other pool guys who didn't want to mess with the chemistry and drain it instead. Anyone can drain and pressure wash a pool, not all can get a pool from green/black to blue within days. You need an expert and Jose is your guy! Also, Jose is very honest which I really liked. I never owned a pool before so I'm a little dumb when it comes to the logistics. I was told my pool needed resurfacing which I was quoted between 5-10k. Jose also does resurfacing jobs and he was happy to give me a quote. He was honest with me and told me, my pool doesn't need resurfacing right away as it's more of a cosmetic issue. This was a relief for me as I just bought 2 homes and it would be nice to put the resurfacing on the back burner for the summer. After he solved my green pool issue quickly.... I hired him to clean my pool on a weekly basis. He's a gem and I'm super happy I found him. He's a one man show and very passionate about his work. Hire him and you and your pool will forever be happy.

He says something to else is wrong and I hv to buy a super cooper cleaner like $40 to add, and the pool still looks brown. When I told the old Man he got mad at me and say the equipment won't start. Finally realized they aren't very experience with people who know about pool. Someone recommended their pool guys in my subdivision and I tried them out, have to drain the whole pool Out $380 water bill, fix what they mess up about $1000 , finally have a shiny blue pool again. This lesson taught me not to look up Random contractors who has no credentials and their company has fly by the night contractors .
