let me start off by saying jose is a con artist. he says whatever needs to be said to gain your trust. 1. 2 hours late. and i had 9am appt. 2. he quoted a price i was very happy with. however when he arrived the tried to charge 4x the amount. 1200$ is way too much to clean!!! 3. finally got him to do what he quoted and i guess since i didn't let him get over on me. he was done cleaning my pool in 15 mins and the pool looked exactly like it did when he started. 4. i refused to pay. so he grabbed a generator we had in the pool shed and said now we are even. i called the police but he gone already and charges have been filed.. i warn anyone wanting to use third coast pools to not use them you will be ripped off if you do!!!!!! read more

After posting a 4 star rating for this company it went down hill fast with weekly different cleaners that don't know what they were doing, do not close the breaker box and total no control of their contractors , my pool turn green then brown and they say the pump has a pipe leaking which is why it is not pumping and I go with what they say , nearly $400 repair and then the pool still looks brown and dirty . He says something to else is wrong and I hv to buy a super cooper cleaner like $40 to add, and the pool still looks brown. When I told the old Man he got mad at me and say the equipment won't start. Finally realized they aren't very experience with people who know about pool. Someone recommended their pool guys in my subdivision and I tried them out, have to drain the whole pool Out $380 water bill, fix what they mess up about $1000 , finally have a shiny blue pool again. This lesson taught me not to look up Random contractors who has no credentials and their company has fly by the night contractors . I got an estimate over yelp from him for regular pool maintenance. The price was good so I asked him to stop by and take a look at the pool in person so I could walk him through everying and set up service. He said he was going to come the next day. I didn't hear from him all the next day until the very end of they day, but by that point I wasn't home anymore. So we set up an appointment for a specific time the following day. He never showed up and was unreachable. After a few days I wrote a bad review and he finally reached out. He told me about his medical issues and said he would contact me when he was out. That was 2 weeks ago. I tried following up with him again last week, but no response. I am not sure what is going on. I hope he is ok. read more

Suddenly, he will not answer a call or return a text. Totally ghosted us. Then, I find out yesterday that the other pool owner paid Jose Sanchez and 3rd Coast Pools, THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS9($3000.00) in advance for work HE HAS NOT PERFORMED......WOW!! No wonder he will not call me or answer a text. HOMEOWNER BEWARE. SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG HERE Update: Coincidence, I hope, but right after I made this post, Jose texted saying he was in ICU that he had a blood clot in his leg, that traveled to his lung, I pray he makes it out of this and I need to come back and report all is well. I texted him back saying hang in there and FYI his guy didn't clean the pool and my neighbor feels ripped off. Two weeks ago, our maintenance person attempted to fix some leaking pipes, but unfortunately, the repairs were unsuccessful. I reached out to notify them of the situation, but never heard back from anyone. In short, the problem continued to worsen, leading to major leaks and pool drainage, and one of the main pipes to my cartridge filter popped out of place. Since it was a Friday afternoon, I turned to Yelp for recommendations and found 3rd Coast Pools, which was available over the weekend. To my surprise, Jose responded promptly. He made arrangements to come by the following morning to assess the issue. Jose promptly identified the problem, offered a reasonable price, and began to address it without delay and just like that he was done. I have yet to see any leaks since,something the current maintenance company had been unable to repair for 2 months. Not only was Jose professional, but he was also kind and courteous throughout the service. His expertise, efficient approach, and dedication to keeping the work area clean were truly impressive. I had a leaking pipe, not too far from my electric meter. This is on a Friday evening after 5pm when everyone is trying to get home and enjoy their weekend. Bear in mind this is Super Bowl weekend and I am looking at a potential disaster. If this pipe breaks and water sprays into my electric meter...well who knows?!!! I submitted a request for plumbing repairs and within 5 minutes got a response from Jose. He looked at the pictures attached to my leak and provided me a flat rate estimate. He came out within an hour of contacting me. He assessed the situation, gathered the parts and set about repairing the problem. I had some pipes that were rusted which required extra care in removing so as to not cause more damage and work. Jose worked with his father and they expertly removed the rusted and damaged pipes. They replaced them and also added a spigot that I had removed due to it leaking the previous winter. This was all done in a couple of hours. Jose and his Father were courteous, informative, provided great service and a very reasonable price.
