They were consistently late, even with a big windows of time 2. Installation of my sink was faulty 3. Even though it was their faulty installation that caused the issue, they wanted to charge me additional money to finish the job. Now ultimately, I reached out to another repair person I had trusted in the past, but wasn't aware they did plumbing. They came out and took a look and realized these guys installed piping that was the wrong size. He went out, got the piping, installed it and charged me a whopping $35. Now, that's still $35 more than I should have paid if these guys did their jobs correctly., but a lot less than the minimum $150 they would've charged me to do the wrong repair (a reminder, they wanted to do the wrong repair here, they were totally off base on the issue). Another thing I didn't mention in the first part of my review is that during the initial installation, they claimed they need to add additional support in order to secure the sink. Seemed reasonable at the time (I'm not a plumbing expert) and maybe I did actually need it. However, the prior sink stood securely for several years without issue. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't be surprised if it was wholly unnecessary. The repair also required me to go find my own dry wall guy and such to fix up these supposed necessary fixes, which was, more money. It seems like they may be one of those types of companies that gives you a low quote at first and then finds ways to nickle and dime you (and by nickle and dime, I mean 100-200 additional dollars for each thing they think up). Now they have a good rating here on yelp, but if you check google reviews, you'll see they have a pretty low rating compared to other plumbers in the area. Normally, I would've done this, but as a busy parent, I just can't do the due diligence I once did. I cannot recommend this company. I would recommend the Heights Handyman if you live in the Heights or nearby areas. They are reliable, cost effective, full service, and trustworthy.

We were…read morereceiving quotes well over $10,000 when we were referred to JCA Plumbing by a trusted, family-owned HVAC company we've worked with for over 20 years. JCA quoted us $7,000 for a full repipe and a new water heater for our one-story, two-bathroom home, plus additional plumbing work to move our laundry inside. Beyond the very fair pricing, Cesar was incredibly responsive, kind, and easy to work with. He took the time to clearly explain everything, especially when my husband wasn't available, which I really appreciated. Once our foundation work was complete, Cesar and his team were ready to start immediately and finished the job in three days (2 days being on the weekend!). We noticed an immediate improvement once the work was done. We previously had galvanized pipes, and some faucets were pushing out brown water with sediment, along with severely low water pressure that had been getting worse over time. After the repipe, the difference was night and day. I even told my husband, "We should have done this earlier, best money spent." They were also very clean and respectful of our home. Any mess made from cutting sheetrock or moving items out of cabinets was cleaned up at the end of each day. Most importantly, I never once felt pressured or upcharged. Cesar was honest, transparent, and trustworthy, which can be hard to find in the construction world. I would absolutely recommend JCA Plumbing to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

They came to our house looking confused when we had a water line break and left saying they would come back in 15 min because they didnt have the tools. First red flag! How are you a contractor without the tools needed to do your job? They said their office was 15 minutes away and they would be right back. Lies! Then they answered the phone several times after and said they were on the way back to us. Meanwhile, we have a water break and our street is flooding while we wait for them. The last we heard from them (almost 2 hours after they came to our house) they were ten minutes out from us, and then they went radio silent.
