(We did purchase assistance with a slide show for the memorial service that turned out well). The funeral home also provided a packet of useful information to assist the family in winding down the few loose end that remain. Viewing was in a small room, which appeared to be the embalming room. The deceased was laid out on a metal stretcher and had on the same clothing at time of body pickup with a travel pillow behind his head. Several family members were shocked about the presentation of the deceased and disturbed about the way the viewing was conducted. It did not appear that our family member was given the level of care and respect that he deserved and made a difficult period ever more disheartening.

It was very stressful being my mom lived in Arkansas, was passing in OKC, and was to be buried in California. Rick walked us through all the steps, gave us all our options, and assured everything would be taken care of. I reached out to a funeral home in California to handle everything out there for me, and that turned out to be a huge mistake. I should have asked Rick to handle that for me, but didn't think about that ahead of time. The funeral home I had been working with decided to drop my business 1 week before my mom's body was to be flown out there, 2 weeks before her funeral. I was stressed beyond belief, called Rick, and he had everything planned, finalized, and ready to sign an hour after I told him what had happened. Rick assured me everything was fine, no delays, and no stress needed. Easier said than done. But Rick is a man of his word. The pricing was great as well. He had asked why we didn't want to do everything in Ca when we first met him, and I told him everything in Ca is way more expensive. He was shocked at the price differences and how much he saved us. My father passed in a horrific accident, my family came here hoping for a service to honor my dad. Instead we were met with extreme incompetence and hateful people. This funeral home cremated all of my father's clothing after telling our family SEVERAL times that no clothing would be burned. With the clothing was a customized leather biker vest that was beyond sentimental not only to my father but our entire family. The pain of losing this vest, essentially the only thing we had left of my dad, has been beyond traumatic. On top of all of this, to add insult to injury they waited multiple days before informing my grieving mother that they had burned the one thing she specifically asked them to make sure she got back. My mother also explained to them that burning leather in Oklahoma is illegal and she asked for an explanation on how this could happen. The owner told her it's not illegal. Which is a blatant lie and accountability has yet to be taken by anyone as to how his vest got burned. When they did call to finally inform my mother, they started the conversation by saying my aunt, my fathers sister, was "rude" to them after they told her they destroyed her deceased brother's belongings. Finally, after days of arguing over the phone about who is going to take responsibility for burning my father's belongings they decided to tell my mom that she would not receive a refund for the service, but that they would try to replace the vest to the best of their ability. After being told the monetary value of the vest, they quickly changed their tune and decided they wanted to refund the service. My mother was given less than half of what the funeral cost and to this day has not received an apology from anyone. If you care about your family members and if you want them to be honored respectfully. DO NOT COME HERE.
