I've stayed at this hotel previously, it was okay and was , again, was clean. I just needed a place to crash, I spent most of my time with family. With that being said, it has really gone down hill. This time around there was shady looking people hanging around. A shirtless shady man approached my elderly father, no mask on, asking for a phone. I had to ask him to leave my father alone and leave. (COVID is real and my father is immune compromised) The hotel did not do anything to ask him to leave. When I first arrived to my room my restroom had hairs all over the floor. The tub looked unkept also. I asked for a new room. Problem solved, got it switched. But what really was upsetting was the next day after the sheets were changed, I came back to the room to find my bed filled with moths! The worst of it was I was laying down trying to nap and was woken up by one flying past my face! Yuck! Am I right?! I again called to get my sheets changed out or room switched. I was told "Sorry the housekeeping crew left for the day." To which I replied "Okay, there are about 10bugs on my bed, and I'm suppose to sleep on this?" The receptionist told me a manager would call me shortly. I waited, no call, then I called back to ask for another room switch. The room switch was done, but management could have handled the situation better. Management needs to do a better job, if the crew left for the day, then you need to get the job done yourself. I payed $300, and have stayed in the past a few times. This past weekend is the last time for sure. read more

This hotel is located off H99 in Ceres. The booking is misleading as I believed it to be in Salida. The booking process is simple and quick. The area is rough. Do not leave valuables in car. The night staff is friendly The room is freshly painted. The carpet does need to be replaced, but perhaps they are renovating. The sheets were clean and the bed soft. Some safety issues; 1 window opened all the way due to a missing stop. Smoke detector is present and working, but needs to be cleaned. There is plastic all over the room, from the lights to the headboard on the bed, the curtains; a major fire concern. The bathroom has an iron on the wall, not in the closet, as it should be. Towels were clean, white, and soft. The toilet paper is effective, if a bit rough. The kleenex was not kleeenex and the holder is broke. Out side the room is dirty, after seeing in the light. Garbage dumpster doors are open. Landscape is clean and maintained. A pool is here, but I do not use public pools; bad experience in past; you decide. Not recomended for kids. Right near freeway. Cost is too high for the ammenities and location. I hope this helps. read more

2nd time here they had a problem running my card. The lady was nice when i first arrived but then she swiped my card it declined. I have more then enough for the stay, so i was very confused. She said to go to an atm and pull the money off so i go to the bank and my bank shows me that the money was taken out and yup it was the hotel. I drove back to the hotel and she was like, nope. Not us. Your card declined. I show her my online banking, it clearly shows the charge. So she says i can still pay cash. That means I'll have paid $150 for a $75 room. I'm not paying twice for a motel. I don't understand how twice this can happen. Last time they figured it out but this time? Nope. Now i have to file a claim against them to get my money back. I think unless they really make it up to me, i won't be back. They have got to get their computer up to date or train the staff better. read more

We had a terrible experience. Our first room didn't have working lights and the second room they gave us was dated, dim and dingy. The floors weren't even vacuumed. We were there for ten minutes when we saw drug addicts in the parking lot and condom wrappers on the stairs. We left immediately and stayed the night at another hotel in Turlock. My friend, her Grandpa, and I were in town for a family reunion, and booked a room here via Expedia....we were extremely disappointed! We did not receive a suite, which is what we booked, and were told at the front desk they are not responsible for the wording Expedia uses. The room we ended up with was disgusting! There was mold all around the tub, with a rust hole in the bottom of the tub we could almost see through. The carpets had not been shampooed in forever. Our little nephews feet were blackened within minutes of playing in the room. The housekeeping staff was friendly, but we can't say the same for the desk staff and/or management. Found this place online and what sold me was the price. I was a little worried what I'd find when I got here, because there is not too many reviews online, but I was actually pleasantly surprised! The staff is friendly & helpful. The hotel is small and the rooms are a little outdated but absolutely clean! We had 5 rooms for 3 nights and we'd come back every evening to fresh towels, made beds and our possessions (laptops, iPods, etc.) exactly where we left them! It is also located in Ceres, we were spending most of our time in Modesto, but it's not too far away. My only negative comment is that even the non-smoking rooms smell slightly of smoke, but we brought spray and aired the room out so it went away fast! Close to 99 but the noise is not so bad. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY, OR GIVING THE PLEASURE TO THE OWNER IN TAKING YOUR OUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO STAY HERE! I only met and interacted with 2 front desk staff members who were friendly and gave me the discounted price I found for the night and had no problems with. On the other hand, the bald headed middle aged man that is the owner lied to me said he wasn't and lied about his name to me, he wouldn't give me the online prices I found...he tried charging me full price, same for one of the smallest ghetto room that I paid for a much bigger more upgraded room and lied to me again and told me they don't authorize online prices such as "trip advisor, Expedia, ect." Besides the pricing, he is Extremely rude, unwelcoming. When it came to time to check out he came and checked the room and tried saying I smoked in the room, said there's cigerate ashes on the table when it was just a couple specks of sugar and I don't smoke cigerates so impossible I told him. Then after I told him there was coach roaches and bed bugs in the bed which my fiance got bit by them he then got upset and kept my $50 deposit. LEAST to say had a HORRIBLE experience and will NEVER stay there again and recommend the same for everyone else, Don't waste your time, MONEY, or energy coming to this place. read more
