Buyer BEWARE... since HM announced the closing of their store I purchased 2 curios on THE HOWARD MILLER website and so far one was delivered... the Martindale III is NOT the same size that they advertise... the width is off by 4" and the depth is off by 3".... I've been waiting for a week now for someone to pick up the curio for my full refund... first of all you talk to an AI named Rachael when calling the number listed... after a few days you receive an email from someone else that tells you that someone else will reach out to resolve the issue... after several emails back and forth stating that they will send the courier back to pick up the curio~ (which they asked ME to repackage) I haven't heard back from anyone in 2 days... they left me hanging with a curio that is NOT as advertised... they truly do not care once the item is shipped and they receive their money... tomorrow will be a week since the curio was delivered... I now have all the pictures and written emails documented so that I can dispute the charges with my bank... read more

The corner bar arrived only a few days after we ordered it. When the bar was assembled we noticed that the drawer was broken. They sent the replacement and we received it only 4 days later. The bar is quality-made and is a nice add to our home. read more

The furniture that has no mechanics are fully made in America. Worst company I have ever dealt with. After the order is placed you deal with a different company to have it delivered. They didn't show up the first scheduled day, they didn't show up the second time snd the third time when they did show up the piece was damaged. Buyer beware. This company is horrible and does NOT care about the customer. I purchased a grandfather clock six months ago (paid in full). The clock was delivered last Friday and it severely damaged. Howard Miller is blaming the delivery service - claiming it was damaged in transit. The box was delivered in good condition and the clock has a piece of wood trim snapped off the top - and there's no sign of the trim in the sealed box. So there's only two options: (1) the clock was damaged before they put it in the box or (2) the delivery service opened the box, removed the broken trim and then sealed the box back up before delivery. In the meantime, Howard Miller doesn't answer their phone, they won't respond to emails, and when I press random numbers to get someone on the phone those people never follow up as promised. I recently took delivery on a new Howard Miller Duval grandfather clock. It was shipped directly from the factory. This is the third Howard Miller I've purchased in my lifetime. I have a defective clock. The volume of the chime is incredibly low. Our other clocks we could hear upstairs. This one you literally cannot hear in the next room unless there's dead silence. Even the technician noticed it when he was setting it up, but said the hammer alignment appeared to be adjusted correctly, so there was nothing he could do. I contacted the company directly, and a technician blew me off by simply saying, "some of our chimes are softer than others". Hog wash! I can't return it because the box has been opened. I hate the clock, and I now hate this company. read more

Horrible, overpriced pieces of junk. Experienced quite a nightmare attempting to purchase one of their higher-end grandfather clocks from a local furniture dealer. Went through 3 clocks brand-new in the box and had to return each because they left the factory with large scratches, gouges, and/or developed mold (yes, mold!) while in the box. I contacted Howard Miller and they could not have cared less. I spoke with some apathetic female company representative to express my huge disappointment with the lack of quality control and she shrugged it off like it wasn't her problem. These are not the heirloom-quality masterpieces of yesteryear. They deserve to go out of business for the junk they have the audacity to sell at the prices they charge. They all are beautiful & run perfectly. I had them all registered in my husband's name as he is the clock collector. Had very good experience with the people at the company. What creditable business has no contact information. This is just a China product transfer company. The product we purchased is very nice quality, but the outer packaging leaves it very susceptible to damage. Had to send the first one back due to that (and poor handling by the shipper). read more

I have a Howard miller 610-731 floor clock. The 26 Lbs. weight for the tubular chimes drops to the bottom of the case after 3 days of running. Howard Miller desk clock 645-602 broke ( arms did not move) after one day and Hoard Miller would not fix it according to the warranty. Received the clock as a gift and Howard Miller's Costumer services refused to fix it. They told me to give it back to those who gifted it to me. Very disappointing experience. read more

We have several howard miller gallery clocks that were very expensive, one of them has never kept time correctly and was returned to their authorized dealer for repair per howard miller,two motors and 200 dollars later it still does not work so we decided to order the parts direct from howard miller ourselves,what a mistake,not only were we treated badly by their customer service departments but we never received the motor even though our credit card was charged.when we contacted them about it they could not have cared less and i was told if i wanted another motor i would have to pay AGAIN which i had no choice but do to make this giant 500 hundred dollar gallery clock work. i am amazed at how truly bad i was treated,it took over 15 calls to get this far and weve paid TWICE and still dont have the motor,lol. read more
