I really like the Napa map on the wall. Helpful. If you want a special wine or something that you can't get elsewhere, this is the place. But I pulled one over on her; much to my surprise. She didn't know that the Staglin Family Vineyard was a location in "The Parent Trap." Staglin is a beautiful property with some impressive art work. I didn't think Staglin wines were sold in Omaha. Next time in, I will get a bottle of The Special Reserve from Parker Knoll.

However, I disagree that OWC is always more expensive. I have found several wines there at lower prices than I was able to buy direct from the winery when in Napa. Further, while the stock there tends toward the $25-60 dollar range, every time I have been there I have picked up a couple $15 "everyday" wines that have been really good. This place is easily the best wine store in the Metro.

It was a lovely experience, learning about where the wines came from, their history & the tastings paired well with a charcuterie board! From 6-9pm they served personal-size wood fired flatbread pizzas ($5 each). Three pizza flavors were on the menu: cheese, pepperoni, and chicken and cilantro. I ordered the latter and was pleasantly surprised; it was a buttery-good crust topped with a lime cilantro sauce, chunks of chicken, and cheese. My only complaints as far as cuisine was concerned: the pizza could have been warmer and crispier. But we came here for the wine and music, and both did not disappoint. Wine by the glass was incredibly affordable, with prices ranging from $2.75 to $4. The music was pleasant, though I wouldn't recommend coming if you have a hard time with noise (or love to talk). The ambiance was pleasing; I enjoyed the openness of the space. They do have a patio dining area on the north end of the building.
