Speaking on behalf of over 37 current vendors and 21 prior vendors don't trust them as a vendor. Accumulated over 200 receipts showing their overcharging vendors and displacing them after they paid is enormous. "Howards" don't own the property. The property is owned by Swap-O-Rama based in Illinois. They lease the property and Swap-O-Rama actually has over 100 complaints. Now, a vendor in question has been wrongfully accused based on PROVEN fake images, videos and non-factual social media posts. After having Federal, state and local licensing where a thorough background is done has been "blacklisted". What a shame! I witnessed over 25 vendors coming to support this vendor and the "staff" from Howards are trying to intimate those who know the factual evidence and support this vendor. Now this is not just my opinion. There are over half the vendors at Howards who will state the office is either screwing them over or have stolen from them. No not social media or word of mouth. Literal proof they've done this to vendors current or prior. Shame! Swap-O-Rama needs to rethink their choice of "management" of the property. Folks, Howards don't own the property and don't let them tell you they do. It's public records. read more

I have always had fun going to Howard's flea market, so many different vendors with so many different items to explore.| have a favorite litle spot I love to visit, she is in a pink building on entrance drive and sells all sorts of toys, you walk in her shop and you are just amazed with the selection she has-- its a little crowded but all you have to do is ask her if she has what you are looking for, you either get a "I'm sorry,l don't have that" or she is moving this and that and bam she is showing you what she has. You can also barter with her---she has absolutely 100 % great prices. It's a great place to visit, when you are bored and want to do something with the family. Holidays are coming with some great opportunities to have fun with your children. Howard's flea market is also going to try a new concept-- opening the 2nd Friday night of every month starting in October from 5pm- 9pm. On a recent trip to Florida, we wound up passing through a very small town called Homosassa, where we stopped to see the Manatee's. We were lucky to stumble apon a place called Howards Flea Market. This place was huge, it was probably as big as the town itself! I could not believe what we stumbled accross, there was a huge selection of things to buy. Everything from tube sockt to fine antiques. I actually found a McCoy surgar bowl I had been looking for to complete a set I had for $5.00 dollars. This sugar bowl had been for sale on ebay for about $45.00. I was also able to buy some oils to make my favorite cologne. The prices were very good and I really made a huge hall that day. The other nice part about it was that everyone was so friendly (love small towns.) The place is so big, I had some trouble finding the restrooms (which were spotless) and the ladies in the office were happy to help me. Also even thought it is someting I try not to indluge in, I had the best apple Fritter this side of the on line. I will definately go back ! read more

wish i could give them zero stars! dont take your business to howard's flea market! they dont take care of their vendors and they allow thieves to steal from you, take a loss and then refuse to refund your table!!!! cheap jerks! please share! the woman at the office with black hair is the biggest jerk ever!!!! she's very condescending and talks down to you! they don't care if you were stolen from! all they can do is "make an announcement!" i wanted my table refunded because someone stole all of my money that i made there. the day wasn't even over and i wanted my refund but they refused. i argued for 20 minutes until they threatened to call the police! thats how you treat your vendors?? i will not take my business to you ever again! read more

Howards Flea Market is a worthwhile destination for finding second-hand yard sale items or some unique items. The outdoor vendors tend to have a wider selection, especially during the fall months. Personally, I've had great success with purchasing plants from the market--all of them have flourished and thrived under my care. The backyard irresponsible breeders need to be banned from selling puppies here. At our local vet clinic, we see so many sick puppies that people have purchased from this place. The breeders are only in it for the money and do not care that the puppies they are selling people are sick. 9 times out of 10, these puppies have to be transferred to UF small animal emergency because they are so sick. Parvo, severely anemic, fleas, severe vomiting and diarrhea just to name a few of what they have come in with. It is disgusting that these people are allowed to sell them here and it gives Howards a bad bad name. read more

I love this flea market. It is a friendly place to stroll through the market. Talk to the vendors, enjoy food and drinks. People have always been friendly. It always has something new to see. I take my family there when they come to visit and my grandkids always look forward to searching for new treasures for them to take home. We have found so many items there that we have brought home. I totally disagree with the other reviews. If you are looking for new stuff then go to Walmart. I have practically furnished my house with Flea Market finds from Howards! I also have bought some beautiful clothes here for my girls, whom are in their twenties. You can find fantastic prices on quality jewelry and the fresh produce selection is fantastic! Howard's is a great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday, bring the family and check out all the great things you can find. The bakery is to die for and the produce stands offer fresh fruits & veggies at outstanding prices. Find that special gem you have been searching for. They have special events at Easter, Halloween, Christmas and a 4th. of July BBQ, all free and all great for the kids! read more
