This is a very large mall approximately 70k sqft with over 400 small businesses. There is a big variety of items to browse from antiques to new items. Most people will find something they enjoy. They have a bag policy, so no large bags or backpacks. This is to help curb stealing, they're not saying you are a thief, but a few ruin it for the many. Remember the dealers pay rent and for their items, so loss of merchandise hurts small businesses. Staff is readily available if you need help. Sorry if this is long but be warned ladies, moms and dads with diaper bags, etc. Let me start out by saying I have shopped here before with no problems and I like the store. I have spent a lot of money there, until today. When you walk in there is a sign that says no large bags or backpacks. I was carrying my purse, which is average size for nowadays at 11×14 inches. I was stopped at the front by an employee, I believe a manager, who said my purse was too big and that he could keep it at the front checkout for me. Excuse me, my purse?? Mind you the sign does not say purse specifically, just bags and backpacks, and I know some people call purses bags. Anyway, if you have been to this store, it is large. It could take several hours if you want to spend time looking around, which I always do. Do I want to leave my purse with my money and bankcards and all personal items, possibly unattended, but also with people I don't know for several hours? NO! Or, do I want to leave it in the car, have no place to put my keys (so now I have to carry them), possibly have to run out for my wallet to be able to pay, or for someone to see and break in to and steal? Again, NO! I often do not have pockets so no place to carry my phone, my wallet, my keys, except my hands, which will not make the shopping experience enjoyable. My husband asked the man if they have been having problems with things getting stolen and was told no. If this is the case, then why treat people with average size purses like criminals? We were further told that the policy is no bag larger that an iPad. That's pretty small. So I guess only a wallet (that is the only important part to them, of course!) or maybe a fanny pack size. Also, I feel that if this policy is what they want, fine, but include the word purses on your sign, make it clear what size constitutes 'large' so people have the option to decide what to do before being approached and asked to leave their purse or bag of any kind, with strangers. To be clear, no employee was disrespectful in any way! Just that this was the owner's policy. read more

This place is billed as Florida's largest indoor antique mall. I found the selection of goods to be not very good. I find the price points to be extremely high. Yes, I understand that. Each individual booth prices out its wares. However, just because something is old. Doesn't mean it has value. It seems like the overall concept of the establishment is to get as many booths to pay rent as possible. The facility has a responsibility to make sure that its booths have quality goods at a respectable price point. We have been here three times and have not successfully been able to purchase. However, we typically always buy stuff every time we go out. read more

Decided to stop here during our weekend outing. This is our first visit to the Florida Antique Mall. At first glance, one would think it would be a waste of time, as the strip mall it resides in seems run down and just a hair shy of being bull dozed and apartments put up in its place; however, we were pleasantly surprised. They did not greeted us upon entry, but the people behind us were, which is about the same thing, I guess. This place reminds me more of a flea market or swap meet, but does have a good number of antiques. The place is pretty big and they are currently looking to open a second side at the beginning of the year, so for those of you old timers, like myself, be sure to take your pain pills and arthritis cream, as it took us about 2 hours to walk through the one side that was open. Unfortunately, we did not find that had to have item, but did enjoy seeing a lot of items we had never seen before. The staff were very friendly and we even spoke with a couple vendors on the floor. I would definitely recommend you stop on by, as we will make this place a yearly stop for us. read more

The staff at Florida Antique Mall is incredibly helpful and kind. There is a feeling of supporting one another instead of competing against one another. The quality of items continues to be steady, beautiful, antiques, and vintage items always in a fresh rotation. The prices are better than expected, and we thrift & antique all over the state. I've been to every large antique mall in central Florida from east to west coast. This one is a nice flea market, with pre-ebay prices. Yes, the vendors set their own prices, but that is the same model for ALL multi vendor malls. The store could use much brighter lighting. To say it is the biggest in Florida is hyperbole. Once they open the new section that might be true, but since they have empty booths and cases right now, it will be interesting to see if they can fill it. 15% commission is fairly steep for a small town antique mall. The staff was extremely friendly. Knowing the owners past history with Wildwood Antique malls of absconding with vendor money, I wish the vendors all the best and hope that history does not repeat itself. read more

This place is exactly what Citrus County needs! It has just opened up but the building is buzzing with new dealers and products. There are 196+ spaces it's air conditioned and very nice. The location is right off of 41 where there is new construction. I am really looking forward to seeing this place explode and bring the nature coast exactly what it needs. read more

I understand that this mall is a work in progress, however it seems the progress that has been done still needs some work. Mainly the prices. I've been to a large number of antique stores and malls all over Florida and the prices at this establishment were the highest I have seen. Even higher than antique stores in Orlando and St Augustine. Maybe in the future when the store gets more settled the prices will become more reasonable, I'll have to revisit in a good while. read more
