Main Gate Flea Market is such a fun place to shop @! There are 2 buildings, A & B w/ so many…read moredifferent vendors (there's even a smoke shop)& tons of things to look @. You can find a little bit of everything,& I ended up buying a couple of things while I was there. There's a couple of vendors who had so many cute phone cases, which caught my eye b/c there were so many different styles to choose from. I def bought a bedazzled 1! Another thing I like is that you can haggle w/ the vendors, so don't be afraid to ask if they can do a better price. And if you're paying cash, even better! A lot of the vendors charge extra when you use a credit card, so cash can save you a little money. There's a lot to see, so give yourself some time to walk around both buildings. If you like flea markets & finding random little treasures, this is a fun 1 to check out!

While walking through each of the air-conditioned buildings, I noticed that the atmosphere wasn't as lively as it used to be about 10 years ago. This time around, the flea market feels like a ghost town, with more than a few empty stalls and vendors sitting down hoping for customers. The vendor I bought sunglasses from during my last visit was still around, so I checked out the many selections and bought two new sunglasses at a good price. I also met a nice female vendor selling t-shirts and hoodies, and purchased two items from her. Looking forward to coming back to amuse my eyes on my next visit.

The bag policy permits only clear bags, except for diaper bags and bags for medical items. There is a maximum of 2 minors per paid adult allowed. All minors 17 and under have to be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian 21+. There were guided parking and ample parking spaces when we arrived. Check points were set up for bag checks, metal detectors and of course ticket collection. The staff members working the bag check and the exit gate were courteous and polite. The Fairgrounds was not crowded so it was easy to walk about and not bump into other people. There was law enforcement presence inside and outside the Fairgrounds.

I grew up coming here every year for the Lunar New Year festival, which is sponsored by the local community and the Vietnamese Catholic Church, so it definitely holds a lot of nostalgic memories for me. As expected, whenever there's a major event it gets very busy -- but that's part of the energy and excitement. The venue itself is very spacious with plenty of open areas both indoors and outdoors, which makes it easier to walk around, enjoy performances, and explore all the food vendors. Speaking of food... that's honestly one of my main reasons for coming back every year! It's always a great way to support the community while enjoying amazing cultural dishes. The bathrooms aren't the most luxurious, but they're still better than many other large event venues, and I appreciate that they're available throughout the grounds. Overall, I love coming here for celebrations like Lunar New Year -- it's lively, meaningful, and a great space for bringing people together. Definitely a local staple for big festivals and community events.

This is exactly that! After getting over the retro feel, which is interesting and okay, we walked through these aisles. There's so much stuff here from a bunch of diff vendors. So really there is everything. Perhaps you collect something, or looking for an antique, or a funky decoration, or some type of clothes, check this place out. This place served its purpose. We wanted an inside place with good a/c that we could walk our dog, & browse. We did just that. I also bought a top for $3 to match my new fave purse. Don't go out of your way, but if you are looking for bargain shopping or antique shopping or walking in the a/c, check this out. You may find something cool!

They have a live DJ, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It is easy to find... just follow the crowd and the sound of music. It's a small market, but there are a good number of vendors offering food items, clothing, jewelry, plants, mushrooms, and art, among other things. I decided to buy two coloring books (for a neice) from two separate young and black artists. The parking is decent - there is a grassy lot as well as street parking, all free and first come, first serve. Next time, I may have to come ready to eat so I can sample food from the BBQ truck.

They have ample parking and they have a lot of awesome shops all gathered in one cool, massive, open to the outside but still covered, building. You can even find fantastic deals on really great items such vintage and antique pieces here. I once found an antique, 1800's Victorian period, rose gold and opal ring. It was in a ring display holder amongst all kinds of different rings ranging in different sizes, styles, and ages, that were for sale. They sell all kinds of things here, such as clothing, plants, pets (including purebred puppies) and pet supplies. They sell dishes and all different kinds of other things that you would find in a garage sale or yard sale. They sell knives and other different custom one of a kind items, which is great for finding that perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. Plus, don't forget that prices at flea markets are often times negotiable. I would definitely make it a point to stop here and shop for Christmas and the holiday season, as the weather will be beautiful outside that time of year and there will likely be holiday themed shops and a lot of the best shops of the year to browse during that time of year. They also have a food area where you can stop, and take a break from walking around, to get some tasty food and refreshing drinks to keep you cool and hydrated. This area is definitely a little on the smaller side, given the enormous size of the flea market, but they do have a fair amount of seating. An issue to consider when deciding if you should come to this flea market is that it's so very hot in Florida (especially in the Summer months), that it's almost too dangerous to walk around outside at flea markets, because you risk suffering a heat stroke. They sell many ways of staying cooler online. We live in a state where people come year round to visit the theme parks, so people are always finding new ways of staying cool in the Summer. My mother just bought a hat that is solar powered, and it has multiple adjustable fans that blow air on to her directly, that she uses when she is out and about in the Florida heat. She primarily uses it to keep her cool while she is gardening. Something that might help a lot is if vendors at this flea market carried business cards, with a good number to call, in the event that they wanted to tell us if they had something available that a specific customer might have an interest in, ahead of time. Like if a vendor sold rings, and then gave me his card, he could call me if he had any vintage and antique rings in stock, and I could call him whenever I wanted to check and see if there was anything I might be interested in in stock that day as well. I definitely recommend checking out this flea market. It's a fun way to spend the day and you definitely won't regret it.

There are so many vendors spread throughout the entire indoor space, so you can walk around, browse, shop, & see something different. The vendors are all really nice & friendly, b/c of course they want to make a sale! You can also find some pretty good deals & haggle prices. There's a lot to look through, & I always find myself taking my time b/c you never know what you're going to come across. I love to shop! Then, when you make your way to the back, you'll find the World of Food Trucks, which is 1 of my fave parts. After walking around & shopping, it's nice to have so many food options in 1 place. The only thing my son ended up finding was a little sign about Labradors (we have one, so that was a fun find). Other than that, most of the merchandise felt like inexpensive knickknacks, and we didn't see much that interested us. We also paid $5 to park, which surprised us given our overall experience. I'm glad we checked it out so we could see it for ourselves, but it's not somewhere I would go back to. Honestly, there is nothing interesting t this flea market.
