That info was completely incorrect. I need a notarized copy of the Bill of Sale and the Certificate of Registration from the seller Bob. I called and spoke to him, explaining what I needed according to VT DMV. He said, "ok, I'll get it done. That was two weeks ago, I haven't heard a word or received the notarized documents or form he is responsible for signing and sending to me the guy who spent $4000 at his shop !!! I'll follow-up this post with an update. I'm filing a complaint with VT Dept. of Motor Vehicles today. If I can't register & lic. this jeep I will be getting my money back. Total incompetence when repairing drivers window not functioning they spent three hours with there…read morecomputer trying to diagnose a 2002 window problem put the car on the lift could not figure out why they were looking for other problems that did not exist told me the front end neaded work. Nobody asked them to check my front end I had just had my entire front suspension rebuild in the end they had no idea what was wrong with my drivers window but when I left passenger window also stoped working from screwing around for hours trying to trouble shoot a 25 yr old car window problem bottom with a computer instead of taking door card apart they wasted 3 hr embellishment of a unnecessary repair and taking out drivers window computer that also operates passenger side with the scan tool. I personally replaced drivers side ecu and trouble shot the drivers window tap drivers window motor with a screw driver motor stated to work ecu brought back to life passenger window problem solved totally incompetent to do anything but change parts of diagnosing the simplest problems without ther scan tool They are part changers not mechanics beware when bringing your car there for service ps I do not and never had repaired cars in my life this was the most basic problem compounded by incompetence

I recently tried to have our vehical inspected and found out that the tires are garbage and very likely they were garbage when I bought them. I had 4 mechanics look at the tires because Tom was assuring me that the tires were just fine and all 4 told me they were garbage and summer tires, not all season tires like they were sold as. I gave Tom many opportunities to make this right, but he said he had to wait to talk to the salvage yard he bought them from before he would do anything. I waited days and couldn't wait anymore so I took my car some place else and spent more money on different tires. Additionally, our car failed inspection for 2 things:the tires and a leak in the muffler. While my car sat for a full day waiting for a solution to our tire delema, Tom seemed to find additional fault with our vehical that would keep it from getting a sticker! Again, I had these "issues" confirmed by another mechanic and he couldn't find what Fat Tom had seen that needed repair. How strange is that? We obviously didn't have him services these issues because they were non issues.
