    Mini lobster turnovers

Fabulous! The ultimate fine dining experience. The food, service and atmosphere were top notch without being stuffy. Be sure to try the mini lobster turn overs and the cheesecake were so amazing.

We visited a few years ago and we loved it so much, we had to go back whenever it was we returned to Puerto Rico. The are not open mon-Wed so when we got there Thursday around five, they asked if we had a reservation. Apparently, you will need one if you decide to visit. The restaurant was packed. Their food is still amazing. The soup of the day was delicious. We tried their ropa vieja tostones and that was the only disappointment. If you are in the area, you must try this place and experience their impeccable service.

We literally closed this restaurant tonight, arriving about an hour before closing time (8 pm on Sundays), but they graciously seated us in a nice window table and did not harried us. Our waitress explained the specials not included in the menu and quickly took our order of Aperol spritz cocktails while we chose appetizers and main entrees. We ordered two appetizers, sorullitos de maíz (corn fritters) and empanadillas de langostas, both served with mayo ketchup to dip them in. Loved the mini lobster empanadas, but the sorullitos were off-tasting, with a fishy oily taste. The Aperol spritz was well made. For entrees, I had ordered their salmorejo de cangrejo (crab salmorejo) just to be disappointed when I was told they had run out of it. So I decided to try their arroz con camarones. It was a tasteful rendition, and it is served with a side of red bean casserole and I also tried their fried ripe bananas. My better half ordered the piñón de camarones and she could not stop raving about it. The ambiance is casually elegant and the service was superb. There's ample parking.

Everything about this place is amazing, the service was great, friendly staff, restaurant's soft music (Bossa Nova style) and lights gave it a romantic ambience. The food oh where to begin, everything was delectable!!! Nothing was bad everything we order was perfect, this was an amazing experience, will definitely be coming back!!!

5 stars for service and food! The croquettes daily special was Prosciutto and super savory with a crispy outside. The Cuba libre I ordered was beautifully served and mixed. The ropa vieja was rich and delicious. The lobster macaroni and cheese was filled with large pieces of tender fresh lobster. We took dessert to go and it was delightful! Both the coconut flan and the tres leches were the perfect ending to the meal!

Heard great things about this restaurant but they are never open. After two attempts on two separate days, we opted for other local restaurants. This establishment is not consistent with its hours of operation.

An amazing casual restaurant with an excellent menu and superb service. We had a party of six and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, served at the same time and freshly cooked. It is a great venue for large groups and special occasions.

Empanadas. Amazing. Breakfast. Amazing. It's staff are great. We got a variety of empanadas and they were all tasty. We also came for breakfast on the weekend and even though brunch hours were over, they let us order off that menu. The brioche French toast was so sweet and comes with fresh fruit. It is a large portion.

I asked my uncle to take me somewhere I could have a fresh lobster during my visit to the area and he took me to Hoy Como Ayer. I walked in with my fingers crossed hoping they had fresh Caribbean lobsters-- and they did! I opted to go with the langosta fresca al ajillo (cooked with peppers, onions and garlic). This was one of the best lobster dishes I've ever had. I didn't think I would finish it all but it was so amazing I couldn't leave any on my plate. For dessert I indulged with the coconut flan and tried the tres leches. Everything was phenomenal. I'm back in Orlando now still dreaming of this place. Definitely worth checking out! Can't wait to return.
