Please make sure to do your homework and know the terminology that it is used because my partner and I as first time homeowners assumed that when our agent Chia said that the seller was paying all closing cost it meant the portion that the seller usually pays and not the entire amount of the closing cost... The communication skills need improvement. We received a text msg that read "by the way your offer was excepted" and when we attempted to call him he replied w/ a text msg that he was at a family event and would contact us first thing Monday morning. There was a few times that because of lack of word usage there was miscommunication throughout the process. We relied tremendously on our loan officer which made the process less painful. read more

Thanksgiving day is coming! Looking back the whole year, the greatest achievement of my family is that we ended of being more than 20 years renter and finally became the first time home owner just around our 15th marriage anniversary. Being in the military means I have moved around a lot and bought and sold houses all over. Heidi Phong is easily the single worst realtor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We bought a home in California for which she was the selling agent and it was only through the extraordinary efforts of our own realtor that anything got done at all. She was non-communicative in the extreme, requiring our agent to send no less than a dozen messages across phone and email to get anything at all from her. It almost seemed as if she was trying her best NOT to sell the house the way she refused to speak to our agent or ourselves. She clearly relies on her staff to get anything done at all and, unfortunately, they were not much better. They did, however, at least know how to pick up a phone or reply to an email on occasion so we could get to the move in date six months after making our offer. I will never understand how you can keep a business afloat with such poor communication, poor processes, and poor motivation to sell your client's house as she demonstrated to us. read more
