It was like walking into the G.C. Murphy's store in the town I grew up in western PA in the 1970's. The blend of modern and classic toys is well thought out. I imagine the children of Holliston, MA are lucky to have such a nice place to visit in their own back yard. The owners are very nice people and I enjoyed just chatting as we patronized the well storied store. It's been a stable of the community since 1863. Look for the heart on the floor. It has a beautiful story surrounding it. My wife was drawn in to the store by the easel sign outside the store advertising Pokémon cards. Any grandparents who have preteen and teenage grandchildren know what that is. Even more enjoyable and impressive was the proprietor's knowledge of all things Pokémon! I know nothing about such things myself. As well as the toys there is a really nice selection of candy to select from. Some, that took me back to my youth again as well! We purchased a nice supply of candy and a few educational toys for our 2 year old granddaughter, and some Pokémon cards for our grandsons. They also have a charming display of big time pictures of customers who found valuable Pokémon cards in their packs of cards. As, well as lovely pictures that show how proud of grandparents they are! Other company's I called weren't helpful and I felt like a bother. Here it was just the opposite. I rented a dunk tank and the process was a breeze. I reserved the dunk-tank a few weeks in advance and wasn't charged until it was picked up, that simple. Nothing pushy just helpful patient associates. The condition of the dunk tank was great, and the pricing was very reasonable. Although I myself didn't set it up was told it was very simple. Also, the tank came with everything. Her communication was excellent and set up was quick, and the quality of the tent was excellent. We also enjoyed the additional lighting that Gigi provided to give our tent an extra romantic feel. Additionally, we were very stressed out because there was potential rain for our big day, and Gigi quelled all of our anxieties by offering us a last-minute tent if need be. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, but we knew that if it did not, Gigi had us covered. On top of her wonderful service, Gigi was incredibly kind to my vivacious and energetic little one who followed her around every time she came to our house. Very unprofessional since day 1…read more We had an appointment to check the place out and the owner nabely did not pay us much attention because she was "busy", and she did this at every appointment but we decided to go with the place because it was beautiful and had everything we needed. So we thought. we Went with the smallest package because I wanted to decorate myself. she said " your wedding is destined to fail" because I didn't wanna pay the extra $4000 just for her to decorate?? she said the oven came with the hall Then days before my wedding she told me the racks in the oven were gone because someone else rented them. So we had to Buy some. months before the wedding I told her in great description what tables i Wanted to use and how I want them set up. Day of the wedding comes along and she has the completely wrong tables out which messes up my whole seating chart so I had to have my family run around and move all the tables around, decorate and coordinate with the caterer. Thankfully they got it all done in time. Some things were messed up because they didn't have enough time due to the tables. my bridesmaid had to get dressed in the bridal sweet because she was nice enough to help set Up and the bridal sweet had a window wide open and Everyone could see her dressing if they walked by. ??? day of coordinator/owner Jason was on point the whole wedding made sure I had what I needed but at the end of the night when my family was done cleaning up he said " okay now get the fuck out my building". i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.
