I've used HS movers a number of times over the years and have always been completely satisfied with the service. Sal and his helpers have carefully moved my pianos, stoves and one time a complete kitchen. I have recommended them to friends and they were similarly happy with the service and the cost, which has always been reasonable. With HS it now feels like I'm getting friends to help when I need to move stuff. Hired help is often disappointing these days. It's nice to be able to highly recommend someone. read more

There's a mix of good and bad but I rate them 4 stars because 1. the prices extremely reasonable 2. They brought me boxes 3. Their professional and didn't complain while doing job. I highly recommend HS Moving. After the movers we had previously booked cancelled, due to truck issues, we were desperate as we had to be out of our condo the following day. My daughter had previously used HS movers and was very happy with their work ethic and their price. I took a chance and called them and asked if there was any way they could help us out last minute. Hassan arrived at our condo within 2 hours of my phone call. Hassan and Kevin worked quickly and were very careful with our belongings and made sure they did not damage the walls or floors. Their price was at least $100 less than what the other company was going to charge. They were very pleasant and worked very well together. I will definitely would use them again. I have "used" this moving company or at least twice over the last two years and here's what happened.... . so the initial time I booked these guys to to my move overall I would say they were ...OK although I did take almost 8 hours for one bedroom apartment from one apartment to the other one akd like 750.... I knew this was a bit high but better than trying to move all my stuf myself. THEY WERE BY NO MEANS GREAT AND DID DAMAGE A FEW THINGS, were slow, and showed up at an hour before our scheduled time and so I had to leave work early so that these guys didn't leave and my move would be impossible.... HOWEVER I was scheduled to have these guys move my apartment today at 4 PM and at 3:30 pm today right before they were suppose to show up I got a call from them saying suddenly their truck broke down or some thing (although I gotta say I callB.S and they probably just overbooked based on their response to the situation and the guys tone ) And basically half an hour before they were supposed to show up at my apartment and that I had scheduled them several weeks ago and confirmed recently for, ALL OF THE SUDDEN they left me high and dry. This happening on the 30th of the month and I have only 1 day before I had to be out of the end of the month and which I prominently made clear would be the case to the movers several times while assuring my reservation was on over the weeks since I booked it m... just to be sure they would be here......... So OK shit happens maybe their van is actually break down... so, when I explain this and for some kind of assurance that if they were going to just bail on me like this with basically no notice would they be assuring me they would do my move tomorrow then at the latest???, do have them do what I hired them to do!!!?!! The response I got back from them was basically eh maybe, we can come tomorrow idk I'll cal u maybe later.... no apology, no nothing. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT USE THESE PEOPLE EVER IF I WERE YOU THEY ARE TOTALLY UNRELIABLE AMD WILL END UP SCREWING YOU OVER HARD WOTH NO REMOSE OR SHAME!!!! read more

This moving company was caring, patient, and friendly. They were careful with my furniture and put thought and effort into doing things correctly. They cared about my things and the places they put it. Knowledge about storing and the effects on the house or storage area. I was given good advice and thought was put into what they were doing. I had my upright piano moved by H S Moving and was happy with the service. The movers were very punctual, and handled the piano with great care. I am sure anyone who owns a professional instrument and had to move it is familiar with the quotes and the potential cost of damage. H S Moving offered a very reasonable price, especially considering the mileage and the amount of time it takes. The piano was fully covered in blankets and then in plastic wrap prior to move. It was raining the whole time that day, but I am happy to say that even after the lifting/moving, hour long ride and all the moisture it didn't need tuning. They were very careful not to make a mess (even with the unpleasant rain outside), and bundled up all the packaging leftovers, my only suggestion for improvement would be to also take those packaging leftovers with them. Overall I think their service was great! They treated the piano with much greater care than the movers that originally delivered it brand new from Tom Lee! read more
